Service (or lack thereof) Disaster Service experience is a disaster. I had the vehicle in 2 weeks ago for a part. Then I needed 2 TSB's done and called for an appointment. I was aske Service experience is a disaster. I had the vehicle in 2 weeks ago for a part. Then I needed 2 TSB's done and called for an appointment. I was asked for my VIN which I gave them and their response was "truck has never been here?" Incorrect as it was there a week before for a $1,300 part. Any how, give my VIN again and the response this time was "so it's a 2013 truck?" Nope, pretty sure F150 Aluminum wasn't for MY 2013....frustration! Next up, dropped the truck off the night before as I was asked to and they didn't get to the truck until 2pm the next day, ugh. I have tried calling multiple times and their phone system is archaic at best, you get bounced around to mailboxes of people you never heard of. Finally get some service person on the phone who can't spell "steve" and claims the truck isn't there. Bounced around their phone system for 4 more mailboxes, finally gave up. I'll be getting an Uber to go over and tell Mr. Welch just what I think of his store and staff. Would have left ZERO stars If I could have. Update: Went to get my truck after it was there for 2 days for 2 TSB's that in total would take 2.5 hours to complete. Now remember, I had a reservation for these services. So, go in and i'm told the trucks being worked on to which my reply was "give me my keys and my truck", i'm out. The service advisor got highly offended and went to get the keys and when I followed, he told me "you stay outside" NOPE! Right into the service managers office. Now, here is the good part, these two tell me that an appointment only gets me a spot in line and not actual service....OK< so why didn't you tell me that when I made the appointment and/or over the TWO days you had my truck? I can't believe what I'm hearing so, get this...I see OC and ask to meet with him and he agrees and back to the service managers office I was just in. Clearly, the set up is on as it's now two verses one, i'm good with these odds! I walk OC through the issue and explain my time was wasted and his staff disrespected me as a client. his first words were NOT "i'm sorry"....nope...it was now time for OC to school me on how this works and he uses the analogy of the service department being like a hospital and if someone has a more serious case than mine I get bumped. fair enough... and I accept that to a point but not for 2 days! I calmly suggest to OC and his service manager that they might want to let clients who have appointments know their little hospital analogy when they make an appointment so as to properly manage expectations, at which point the service manager insults me for the last time and says "well that's just common sense". Apparently he's far smarter than I am so I say "thanks for insulting me" and depart the dealership to a)never return there again b) take on my own personal campaign to make sure nobody I know does business with this miserable dealership c)reach out to Mr. Fields & Mr. Heinrichs of FoMoCo and tell them just how terrible an ambassador OC is for the brand. Having carefully watched Ford do ALL of the right things to right the ship under Mr. Mullaly's stewardship, I can't imagine how this store keeps the oval? More
