Poor Service experience. Everything started out fine, dropped the car off and got a shuttle to work. I told them I could possibly get out at 4:30 to 5 pm and was told that they don't have someone to pick me up at that time. Last time they could pick me up is 1:30. They never told me that before and the service representative didn't offer any viable solutions. Unfortunately no one was able to take me there to pick up my car at work, so when I asked if I was up a creek the service person said "Yeah, sounds like it". I promptly asked to talk to a supervisor who got someone to come pick me up at 4:30. I got a survey from Toyota about my service and was honest in the feedback. I then got an email from Kyle Bond (GM) asking if they could contact me. I emailed him back right away and gave them my cell and said please call me to discuss. They never called back.. so it seems that the lack of focus on service goes all the way to the GM. Have never been treated this way before from a Dealer, will not ever go back to O'Brien. Initially chose O'Brien after selecting 3 or 4 dealerships from Cars.com, because their price looked the best for the car I was after. They had the exact model we wanted (RAV4 XLE) in stock and c dealerships from Cars.com, because their price looked the best for the car I was after. They had the exact model we wanted (RAV4 XLE) in stock and color was perfect. Trade-in seemed a little low on either of our current vehicles, but was probably standard for a dealer trade-in (I eventually chose to sell the old one privately anyway). Location was among the best (for us) of all Indianapolis Toyota dealers. Mike Ramon was very personable, genuine, with no hard-sell at all. Worked very well for us, getting cross bars & trailer hitch installed. Mike was a big help, and we absolutely love the new car. Looking forward to many years and several hundred thousand miles with it. More
My wife and I were put into a position of purchasing a car earlier than planned. We decided to look for a used car to eventually give to our oldest daughter and in one year buy a new car for us. We found one on line at O'brien Toyota (about 2 miles from our home). We went to look at the Scion xB but found out it was in the shop being worked on. Tim showed me other options that were not even close to what were were interested in - Saturn Vue, PT Cruser to name a few. Not interested in these other cars we asked Tim to call us back when the Scion was out of the shop and at the dealership. 3 days passed and finally I called him to get an update on the vehicle. He promptly told me that someone else is purchasing it. That next weekend we went to another dealership (further away) and the Sales person there went out of there way to find a car for us. We actually found a great car and purchased it that day. We were very disappointed in the quality of customer service received from Tim but it did help enhance the quantity of service we got at Butler Toyota. What Tim Davis did not do was to understand what our needs and what we were looking for, research other Scion xB possibilites within the O'Brien family of delearships, or even follow up later with us when the first one sold. It has now been 1 month since this happened and I just got an e-mail from Tim seeing if we were still interested in a new car. Tim did not live up to the Toyota philosophy, 'Customer First'. If he would have, we would be driving around in a car he sold to us. More
Very good service. Danielle was an excellent sales person! The guy in the finance department was very helpful as well...when I took my car in to the dealer for the 5000 service all I had to do was se person! Every lot had a salesperson eager to help and I will admit none were pushy but one stood out above the rest. Explaining every detail and answering every question we ask. My contact person was Danielle Lovins at O'Brien Toyota. Since our purchase Danielle has kept in contact with us, assisted us in using the blue tooth device in our car twice and helped us when we came in late one saturday to have our car serviced. Im a Real Estate broker and Auctioneer and I know how hard it is to find someone to work with my clients and show them respect and and how much I appreciate there business. O'Brien Toyota has truley chosen a wonderful and helpful sales person in Danielle in representing them. More
