Awesome experience with Jay Miller I was an out of state buyer with a lot of questions. Jay Miller made what could have been a very long and stressful process easy. All my questions w I was an out of state buyer with a lot of questions. Jay Miller made what could have been a very long and stressful process easy. All my questions were answered quickly. Jay even took the time to record a personal video of the vehicle I was looking at. As I sat 450 miles away from the dealer, I put a lot of trust in Jay to be a straight shooter and he did not let me down. Everything Jay told me about the Certified Used Kia I bought turned out to be true and that trust is important with such a big purchase. I am loving my vehicle and wouldn't hesitate to deal with Jay MIller and O'Brien in the future...even if it means another 450 mile drive from Minnesota! More

Great Experience! I've purchased two new vehicles from O'brien (Mirage and Outlander), and I've never been disappointed. Both vehicles have been solid runners. We drive nearly an hour to have our car serviced when we could go to a dealership 10 minutes away. (We had a bad experience with a local dealership)). We have always had great personal, professional and friendly service. They have always gone out of their way for us. If additional work is needed they care for it then. I have never had a bad experience here. Even our salesperson that sold us our cars remembers us and conversations from the past and greets us each time when we are there. More

Wrong Diagnosis and Recommended repairs This first paragraph is an update to the original post. The service department contacted me and refunded my service charge for diagnosis. I guess I This first paragraph is an update to the original post. The service department contacted me and refunded my service charge for diagnosis. I guess I should have talked to them first so a lesson learned for me. With there goodwill gesture I will return to them again for service since this was the first time I experienced an issue and sometimes stuff happens. I will return again but will be more willing to ask questions as I proceed. The past good vibes with this service department where zeroed out. I brought my 2008 eclipse in with a battery drain problem and explained some of the current issues. I was asked how many hours did I want to pay for trouble shooting to find the issue. So I said if you can't find it in 2 call me and I will decide based on conversation from there. Well at the two hour charge time I was given an estimate for approximately $625 to fix the problem. One part was for a new part my daughter had just had installed elsewhere 2 weeks earlier. After talking to the service department they then said that part was probably not necessary. So I paid for the 2 hour service fee and the ordering of the remaining parts they recommended .. I left and felt uneasy with the explanation so I checked the internet as to what may cause an overnight drain of the battery and one cause is a bad relay. I swapped relays and found a bad one all within an hour. I bought a relay at a local car parts store and it has been working wonderfully ever since. I came back and cancelled the order for parts that would not have fixed this and I would have paid for additional unnecessary parts and labor. My flawed thinking of taking it to a professional shop gave me a failed diagnosis in twice the time it took me to figure it out on my own. My advice to anyone is to find a shop you trust for work or second opinions because incorrect diagnosed work and unnecessary charges happen more frequently than they should in the car repair industry.
