My recent visit to Nutley Kia, located in Nutley, New Jersey, unfortunately, did not meet the standards of professionalism and customer service I had expected from a reputable dealership. On April 26, I brought my vehicle in due to a problem I was experiencing. After an initial assessment, it was determined that my tie rods needed repair. I proceeded with the recommended service, trusting that it would resolve the issue. However, upon returning, I was informed by the owner, Anne Russomano, that despite the repair, the problem persisted. Understandably concerned, I expressed my intention to explore other options, as the additional proposed diagnostics amounted to a significant cost increase from the initial quote of $409 to a staggering $1800. What followed was a deeply distressing encounter. Despite my clear intention to retrieve my vehicle and explore alternative solutions, I was met with hostility and aggression. As someone who recently underwent surgery, my physical condition was compounded by the unprofessional behavior exhibited by Anne Russomano and her staff. I was subjected to undue pressure to sign documents asserting my refusal of services, despite my willingness to pay for the work already completed. The situation escalated when I was effectively held against my will, with Anne Russomano resorting to physical aggression and intimidation tactics, including confiscating my wallet and blocking my exit. The involvement of law enforcement only added to the distress of the situation, as I found myself outnumbered and fearing for my safety in an environment that should have been conducive to resolving the matter amicably. In summary, my experience at Nutley Kia was nothing short of harrowing. The lack of professionalism, disregard for customer welfare, and resort to aggressive tactics by the owner and staff tarnished what should have been a routine service appointment. It is my sincere hope that by sharing my ordeal, others may be spared from similar treatment and that Nutley Kia takes the necessary steps to address these serious concerns. More
My experience with Nutley Auto Kia has always been fantastic! The process of buying out my lease was so easy for me. NEVER GO TO NUTLEY KIA. UPON LEASE EXPIRATION WE DECIDED TO BUY OUT THE LEASE. WAS GOING TO FINANCE BUYOUT WITH KIA FINANCE. NUTLEY KIA ADDED OVER $2000 IN ADDITIONAL FEE UPON LEASE EXPIRATION WE DECIDED TO BUY OUT THE LEASE. WAS GOING TO FINANCE BUYOUT WITH KIA FINANCE. NUTLEY KIA ADDED OVER $2000 IN ADDITIONAL FEES AND DOUBLED THE REGISTRATION AND TITLE FEES CHARGED BY THE DMV. OH THEY SAID IF THEY OVERCHARGED WE WOULD EVENTUALLY GET A CHECK BACK. NO REASON TO EVER OVERCHARGE/CHARGE DOUBLE FOR REG/TITLE FEES. THEY ARE PLAIN AS DAY ON THE WEBSITE. THEY OBVIOUSLY ARE NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY OR LOYAL TO KIA OWNERS THAT HAVE MULTIPLE KIAS. More

I have always had a very negative outlook on car dealerships and car salesman. With that being said, Ulises, Kyle, Chris and Nutley Kia have entirely changed my views. It seems like no matter whe dealerships and car salesman. With that being said, Ulises, Kyle, Chris and Nutley Kia have entirely changed my views. It seems like no matter where you go, dealers add bogus fee after bogus fee to your cars price. "Reconditioning" fees, a fee for not financing with them, a fee for breathing in their building, etc. Nutley Kia was absolutely no nonsense when it came to the negotiation of the vehicle price. The only thing on the invoice was the price of the vehicle, doc fees, registration and taxes. That's it. And this doesnt mean that they didnt put work into the car. Oh no, see the reason why I came in is because I saw the carfax of the vehicle that I was interested in and saw that they had indeed put work into it. They replaced all brake pads and rotors, put on new tires, replaced the battery, plus all the standard maintenance like oil, oil filter, air filters, wipers, etc. All this and they didnt charge me a dime for "reconditioning." They proved to me that they care about what theyre selling. Trying to get other places to put this kind of work into a car is like pulling teeth and they often "promise" you theyll do it if you buy the car. Dont make that mistake. Oh, and I did not purchase a Kia from them, but they still included a 10 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty. Which is far from the bare minimum. I HIGHLY recommend Nutley Kia if youre looking into a new vehicle. I know I wont be shopping anywhere else as long as theyre around. More
