Mr. Dennis Loomis, the service consultant, always makes me feel that he has my best interests at heart. He always explains the situation in detail...offers options (when they are available)...and puts dri me feel that he has my best interests at heart. He always explains the situation in detail...offers options (when they are available)...and puts driver safety at the top of his list. The service work has always been superb. I always ask for Mr. Loomis whenever either of our two Avalons requires service, because I know that I will be taken care of in a graciuos and professional manner. To me, Mr. Loomis IS Boch Toyota. He deserves a raise. More
Price for repair was $250 over what another Toyota dealer charged for same repair. Matrix was 86,000 miles - over warrantee (80,000), for a ECM problem Toyota knew about and issued Technical Service Bulleti charged for same repair. Matrix was 86,000 miles - over warrantee (80,000), for a ECM problem Toyota knew about and issued Technical Service Bulletins in 2006 and 2007, yet Boch and Toyota denied any adjustment. I think Boch quotes high so people think they are getting a bargain if they adjust it down. Next time I'll buy Honda. First set of original tires wore out in 15,000 miles. I was told I was driving too hard. Had a set of Michelins put on at NTB and have 70,000 miles on them, still good tread. More
Came in for simple 10K Service, list price was 60% higher than other local dealers advertised price(s) for same service. I went to Boch for convenience, I work close and they open at 7:00, but I feel it is than other local dealers advertised price(s) for same service. I went to Boch for convenience, I work close and they open at 7:00, but I feel it is not worth the price. Just not a very good feeling at Boch. I won't be back. More
They lie when they tell you you pay less. They charged me over $17000 dollars for a used car purchased in 2007. To add insult to injury the service depart put a tire on the vehicle that was the wrong siz me over $17000 dollars for a used car purchased in 2007. To add insult to injury the service depart put a tire on the vehicle that was the wrong size and didn't want to change it, the driver side door would hit the panel when I closed it and that was because the panel was not the right size. Lastly and worst of all when they were conducting the inspection they spilled something acidic that damaged the paint on the front hood of my vehicle and refused to repair it. At first they didn't want to repair anything but because it was under the Lemon Law they had no choice, but as for the hood damage they denied it and had it not been for the fact that I had a witness with me when I purchased the vehichle the outcome would have been different. They still didn't want to take responsibility of it so I sued them for the cost to have the vehicle stripped and repainted in that area. To everyone that does business with the Boch service department, PLEASE NOTE that during the lawsuit, the mechanic purchased the repair order and if you're familiar with it (it's the same everywhere you go) they have you initial a spot to authorizing them to diagnosis the problem and call you back with the info and an estimate. Well at court the mechanic stated that when I initialed in that spot it was actually for a "mechanic's lien". So when you initial that spot where all that small print is you are signing a mechanic's lien not an authorization for them to do a diagnosis. They are rude, rip off artist. Not only they it takes all day and they expect you to either waste your whole day there while the work goes undone or try and push renting a car from them. I took my car elsewhere regardless of having the warranty with them and I didn't care that I had to pay a deductible for being out of the network. They claim that you pay less for their vehicles but the trade off is the poor service and misrepresentations. Save yourself a trip to court from having to sue them, go elsewhere More
I took my truck in for it's ten thousand mile check they rotated the tires and a day later I noticed one of my center hubs missing I tried contacting the dealer there was no response so I bought one on line rotated the tires and a day later I noticed one of my center hubs missing I tried contacting the dealer there was no response so I bought one on line then I noticed the other three were no put back on properly the last time I ever do business with them for anything More
I recently bought a new car from Boch. The salesman was nice enough but the business office gave me a hard sell on worthless Boch extended warranties and told me that I would have received a better deal if nice enough but the business office gave me a hard sell on worthless Boch extended warranties and told me that I would have received a better deal if I financed with Boch. When I went in for my first service, I was kept waiting for over 2 hours while people who came in after me were serviced. I was charged for work that I found out was not done. I asked for a refund and was told that I would receive a check which still has not come. I had the work done at another Toyota dealership. I spent 45 minutes in the waiting room and the work was done. More
I had a couple questionable experiences with the service department at Boch Toyota in Norwood, and I was giving them one last chance this month. Long story short, while I was out shopping the service rep department at Boch Toyota in Norwood, and I was giving them one last chance this month. Long story short, while I was out shopping the service rep called me suggesting that I have more work done to my car. He quoted prices that I found reasonable and decided to have the work done (brake pad replacements and wheel realignment). When I showed up to pick up my car, they were charging me almost $200 more than I had authorized (I believe that he failed to quote me the labor charges). After two days of phone calls back and forth with service rep and service manager, they refused to believe me that the service rep had quoted the incorrect price. No attempts were made to rectify the situation. I will not service my car at that location again, or buy a new car from them in the future. More
I have had an ongoing problem which has cause me to continue to bring my car back because no one can tell me whats going on, or i'm just told well maybe it's this. I was told by a previous service mana continue to bring my car back because no one can tell me whats going on, or i'm just told well maybe it's this. I was told by a previous service manager not to speak to the service advisors, because they are not knowledgeable...which now questions should i even bring my car to be serviced here. I was just in Boch on 8/15/06 service advisor mike altieri was very unprofessional. I have emailed Ernie Boch, Jr. never received an email back. The whole experience has taught me a valuable lesson that the quality of work is nothing if the customer service sucks! More
the only thing nice about their service department is the front men. they seem nice and professional. the mechanics are morons. i'm not saying this out of bitterness. it is my honest opinion. they are either front men. they seem nice and professional. the mechanics are morons. i'm not saying this out of bitterness. it is my honest opinion. they are either intentional liars or they are not knowledgable at all. neglectful and not trust worthy. this was my experience. i recommend ira in tewksbury.
