Absolutely the worst experience ever. Don't waste your time. Ernie Boch jr should come down out of his ivory tower and check things out. Maybe if he stopped doing those cheesy comercials where he wants us time. Ernie Boch jr should come down out of his ivory tower and check things out. Maybe if he stopped doing those cheesy comercials where he wants us to believe he is actaully working and actually worked, he'd see what's going on. I don't know how that man can sleep at night. After 2.5 weeks of waiting for her new car, my daughter was first told the paper work was lost, then the VIN numbers were wrong, then she was told they didn't want to honor the cash for clunker deal because it was costing them money. She had signed the papers 2 weeks prior to the cash for clunker deal ending. They tried to tell her that her paperwork wasn't in order so they wouldn't honor the deal. They were very dishonest, everything was in order. They kept telling her she could walk away and they would return her deposit but she hung in since the cash for clunker , by that time, had indeed ended. She missed work and a family vacation trying to get her car, waiting up to 2 hrs to talk with someone at the dealership. All her phone calls went unanswered or turfed to voicemail. She was finally told to pick up her correct car. It was delivered to her covered with bird mess, less than a 1/4 tank of gas and completely uninsured and unregistered and without the $900.00 alarm system that she paid for! Our insurance company said it was the worst dealership they have ever dealt with. Paperwork disappearing, completely disorganized. It's been another week now and they still haven't gotten the paperwork together for her to get a sticker. Her first car payment will be due and she hasn't even been able to drive the car. When I bring the name of this dealership up at work, it causes an uproar. Almost everyone had something negative to say. I sure wish we knew this before we sent our daughter to them. Hope our honest review can help someone out. More
The only reason I found myself at Boch Norwood was because I was partaking in Cash for Clunkers, and Boch North Attleboro didn't have the vehicle I was looking for. When I walked in and asked if th because I was partaking in Cash for Clunkers, and Boch North Attleboro didn't have the vehicle I was looking for. When I walked in and asked if they could find out if they had a 2009 Sport Rav 4 on the lot, I was told to sit down, they'd find out. Suddenly, the salesperson started asking me if I had a trade in. I said, "I just want to know if you have this vehicle or not". The salesperson--a skinny little guy of Indian descent (a warning for those of you foolish enough to go to Boch Norwood after this post)--said very confrontationally, "Tell me...Who's the salesperson here? Do you want to sit in my chair? Maybe I'll just find you another salesperson to work with!" After engaging in a full out shouting match IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SHOWROOM with this person, I got up to walk out. But then I stopped, because if I ended up buying a vehicle, I wanted to make sure this little turd didn't get the commission. I asked for a new salesperson. Long story short, I was in the dealership for SIX HOURS--most of it spent sitting around staring at the ceiling. They went through all the negotiating drama and histrionics others on this website have already described. Despite my protests, they insisted on holding my credit card so that I would show "good faith" (which I'm sure would've been mysteriously lost had the negotiations fallen through). The Finance guy tried to sell me a bunch of unnecessary crap and seemed about as legitimate as a Nigerian Princess email. To top it all off, the Finance guy filled out the paperwork wrong (he listed my vehicle as a 2010 Rav 4--a model that hasn't been released yet), which wasn't discovered until two weeks after the fact, so I had to trudge back up there to sign off on the new, corrected forms. Finally, after FOUR WEEKS of nonsense (that my salesperson, Juan Silva, kept blaming on the government and the Cars.gov website) and numerous phone calls, I was called in to pick up my car--only after I posted negative comments on the Boch website, mind you. So anyway, back to my car: No inspection sticker. Empty gas tank (which I didn't discover until I was five miles from the dealership and the fuel light appeared). No insurance paperwork transfer. Pathetic. I'm currently trying to call my salesguy (Silva) again, with minimal success. These guys aren't completely useless, but they're not too far off. Just a shady, shady operation comprised of incompetents, neer-do-wells, and individuals of questionable moral character. I wonder how much this operation speaks of the character of Ernie Boch Jr. himself? Avoid this place like the plague. More
Came in for simple 10K Service, list price was 60% higher than other local dealers advertised price(s) for same service. I went to Boch for convenience, I work close and they open at 7:00, but I feel it is than other local dealers advertised price(s) for same service. I went to Boch for convenience, I work close and they open at 7:00, but I feel it is not worth the price. Just not a very good feeling at Boch. I won't be back. More
I went in to buy based on the faxed quote to me. I waited for 1 hour for customer service in which employees were rude. I was bullied in the paying 16% finance rate.I was left in the finance managers office for 1 hour for customer service in which employees were rude. I was bullied in the paying 16% finance rate.I was left in the finance managers office for 45 minutes. Finally after waiting too long, I demanded my deposit back in which the check misteriously dissapeared. I was told that they already took my check to the bank. That was a lie because the banks were closed. I demanded my paperwork back and went to another dealership and got what I wanted at my price. I will never go there again and will implore people who have similar experiences to do the same and boycott Boch. They are worse than preditory lenders. More
Don't buy a car with CLUNHER FOR CASH program in Boch Toyota!!! You will miss $4,500 cash rabate because of Boch Toyota's unbievable slow service. Altough you had signed the application of cluncke Toyota!!! You will miss $4,500 cash rabate because of Boch Toyota's unbievable slow service. Altough you had signed the application of cluncker for cash SEVEN to TEN DAYS AGO, it has not been submitted to government yet. The first $1 billion then has been run out today. My coworker had already driven his new car home immediately with $4,500 rebate of cluncker for cash when he went to other dealer last night. Addional $2 billion is avaliable now, but you don't know how long you will wait for Boch to submit your application to government on line. More
These are the most dishonest people in the world. First off they offer me a price that was way beyond their advertised price for a Matrix, even though they had it on the web for like 4k cheaper!! Next they off they offer me a price that was way beyond their advertised price for a Matrix, even though they had it on the web for like 4k cheaper!! Next they want to add more money to the online price even though they just posted the price about 5 hours before I went in because some other customer added two some alarm to the car but decided not to get it. And this happened before they listed the price online. They are so dishonest and unhelpful. And get this, the guy said wait the manager wants to talk to you to say thanks for coming and such, total bs, we waited for like 10 minutes and the manager never came and the guy was like o he is probably busy. What a load of BS. Never go there!! Also, he was so not knowledgable about the car it isn't even funny. He had to look at the window sticker to see how many HP the car has and such. How can he expect to sell a car without knowing one. This is ridiculous! More
Don't get me wrong - Boch won't deprive you of the classic experience of stupid showroom theatrics in the course of trying to stick you with an uncompetitive price. They did the industry standard sch classic experience of stupid showroom theatrics in the course of trying to stick you with an uncompetitive price. They did the industry standard schtick of bringing in "the boss" to whine about how "I'd love to give it to you for the price you want, but I can't!". They played the classic game of wearing you down through attritions - making you sit there for a long time in the hope that you'll surrender on their terms. They even pulled out some of the "new" breakthroughs, like acting like their feelings are hurt because you won't pay their price. But the tug-of-war over price was only the beginning of the fun. The really good part is the financing. They trotted out a rude, smarmy kid with a tie to try to sell us a ton of features we didn't want and subtly insult us as we turned down each one. But the best part of the financing was the Bernie Madoff special - a payment "plan" where you pay all the interest up front, for the entire 60 months, and only afterwards start to pay down principle. This is like paying income tax on your income tax. Oh yeah - and the interest rate was putrid. The beauty of paying interest rates for all 60 months in the first year of the loan is that once you've paid off the interest itself, you may wish you could refinance with someone who isn't sleazy, but it's pointless: if you did refinance, you'd end up paying new interest on a loan where you currently have only principle to pay off. And icing on the cake: the non-service that followed. They said we could get a number of "free" oil changes as a booby-prize for buying the car. What they didn't mention was that it would be really hard to schedule the oil changes, because the oil changes were mysteriously so booked up. It's like being offered a free dessert only to find that the pastry chef is out for the rest of the night chain-smoking in the alley. New commercial: We can sell you a used Toyota for more because your costs are more. That's only natural! Their name is Ernie Bock Junior. Come on down - there's one of you born every minute!! More
They lie when they tell you you pay less. They charged me over $17000 dollars for a used car purchased in 2007. To add insult to injury the service depart put a tire on the vehicle that was the wrong siz me over $17000 dollars for a used car purchased in 2007. To add insult to injury the service depart put a tire on the vehicle that was the wrong size and didn't want to change it, the driver side door would hit the panel when I closed it and that was because the panel was not the right size. Lastly and worst of all when they were conducting the inspection they spilled something acidic that damaged the paint on the front hood of my vehicle and refused to repair it. At first they didn't want to repair anything but because it was under the Lemon Law they had no choice, but as for the hood damage they denied it and had it not been for the fact that I had a witness with me when I purchased the vehichle the outcome would have been different. They still didn't want to take responsibility of it so I sued them for the cost to have the vehicle stripped and repainted in that area. To everyone that does business with the Boch service department, PLEASE NOTE that during the lawsuit, the mechanic purchased the repair order and if you're familiar with it (it's the same everywhere you go) they have you initial a spot to authorizing them to diagnosis the problem and call you back with the info and an estimate. Well at court the mechanic stated that when I initialed in that spot it was actually for a "mechanic's lien". So when you initial that spot where all that small print is you are signing a mechanic's lien not an authorization for them to do a diagnosis. They are rude, rip off artist. Not only they it takes all day and they expect you to either waste your whole day there while the work goes undone or try and push renting a car from them. I took my car elsewhere regardless of having the warranty with them and I didn't care that I had to pay a deductible for being out of the network. They claim that you pay less for their vehicles but the trade off is the poor service and misrepresentations. Save yourself a trip to court from having to sue them, go elsewhere More
I bought a 2006 scion tc from boch about a year ago they were horrible. I had to put 4 new tires on the car as soon as i got it the brakes were gone and on top of that they had to replace my wind shield due were horrible. I had to put 4 new tires on the car as soon as i got it the brakes were gone and on top of that they had to replace my wind shield due to a crack. The car ddmt come wit a manual and when i asked for 1 they said it would take 2 weeks. I never recieved it. The dealer was so rude he was forcing my mother and i to take the car home without discussing it with my dad. They promised me a spare key and i still havent recieved i was better off getting a brand new car from clair then going to boch. My car cost 8000 more than what it should have. Never again More
This dealership screwed me big time. I went at the end of the month and they took the keys to my car and virtually bullied me into buying my car. At the time of purchase, they tacked on points to my loan of the month and they took the keys to my car and virtually bullied me into buying my car. At the time of purchase, they tacked on points to my loan and hidden fees up to $7000 over the purchase price. The car left the lot not inspected and when we went to inspect it, they refused. It actually cost me $1000 to make the car road-safe as the tires were completely bald. The second set of keys I was promised never materialized, the free oil changes never came either. The loan that we ended up with was not what was discussed. If you want to get a terrible deal, then head to Boch. More
