This was overall a good experience. No pressure what so far from the staff. If you have done your homework and know what you want and at what price you want it, the staff will work with you to get you that far from the staff. I found they have the huge inventory and thus provides a wide range of choices in terms of color and trim selection. They even helped me in pickup and drop in case you need this service. Day 1 ... leased the car. Day 2 ... I discovered the VIN Day 1 ... leased the car. Day 2 ... I discovered the VIN # was incorrect on the paperwork. I had to return the vehicle on day 3 and was switched Day 1 ... leased the car. Day 2 ... I discovered the VIN # was incorrect on the paperwork. I had to return the vehicle on day 3 and was switched to another vehicle Finally, at the end of day 5, reg., inspection was finished. Meanwhile, during the initial closure of the deal, was offered a remote starter for $600 ... I refused and about a minute later was offered again the remote for $360. Finally I made a deal with the sales manager, Mark, to give me the remote starter in return for my agreement to allow the switching of cars, I guess to hide their paperwork mistakes. BTW, the remote was the absolute DX version. My salesman, JD, was a great guy and I liked the way he handled everything for the most part ... very friendly, very professional. The paperwork mistake was not his doing, I believe, nor was the slimy $600 offer for the remote. That came during the paperwork completion by a finance specialist. I think all these people at all dealerships are really under the gun to perform, and that's why the nature of the business is as bad as it is. But most people never really know how good or bad a deal they are getting. More

On June 28, 2010 my husband and I went to turn On June 28, 2010 my husband and I went to turn in our Toyota Corolla Leased rental of three years, we decided to do it again, because w On June 28, 2010 my husband and I went to turn in our Toyota Corolla Leased rental of three years, we decided to do it again, because we have had always great luck and experience with Boch Toyota in Norwood.We bought our other 2001 Toyota Corolla new car there and it doesn't owe us any money, and still is in great shape, only 76,000 miles and still running like a charm.When we walked into the dealership that day, everyone was on the the ball and so friendly,not phony friendly, but genuine friendly.The manager, on duty that day, John DeMarco, was very friendly and knew we were coming and welcomed us with open arms, like we were going into his own house.He said"I have someone great for you, his name is John McDaniells and he is a great guy."Well that he was, instantly there was a genuine connection between the 3 of us, we agreed on leasing again and he gave us a reasonable deal, we could live with, month to month.The best part came when he let us pick out our own color car, which we never had the chance to do before,now I thought he was really something.To top it all off, he mentioned he was from South Boston, Bingo, we are too! People from Southie always share a special bond even if they don't know each other!John was not pushy, he was convincing, realistic and cared about what we thought.He got the sale!and I would go to him again and send my family or friends to buy a car from him. I sought out the Sunday paper special on a Venza that was deeply discounted. He gladly said it was available. located it and demonstrated it to me. Asking for the "special" you never know what the reaction will be. Gilbert's was great, even though the "reward" was small. I will without hesitation recommend him to my family and friends.
