I have been looking into a new prius for the last couple of months. With the current promotion with the end of November, I thought getting a new prius was too good to be true. Being raised in New England and hearing Ernie Boch on the TV, saying "Our costs are less, so we can sell for less"; I figured I would give Boch Toyota for a try. I was met promptly at the door and set up with an amazing sales associate (John). John explained everything about the Prius, the in's and outs, and the technology advances. However, once it came down to pricing; that's when it went down hill. Boch's costs are just about the same (and even started off more) compared to the other Toyota dealerships I went too. I forgot what the Sales Manager's name was; but I even said to him "Whatever happened to your saying "our costs are less so we can sell for less". After 90 minutes of going back and forth, we just couldn't make a deal. However, 5 Stars went out to John. By the end of it, we seemed to be like old friends. Working in the sales industry, I know that he needs to meet a goal for the day. And I wanted it to give him my business; since he was completely deserved my business. In the end, if Boch Toyota kept true to its slogan; I would be driving home in a new car. More
Buying a new car can often be a trying and time consuming experience. However, twice within the last two years I have had an exceptionally positive experience with Boch Toyota in Norwood. The most recent experience being a month ago when I brought our 2009 RAV4 (my wife's car) in for a service, and wound up buying another one for myself! The service person, Phil Marini, had the car properly serviced and back to me in a little over an hour, and was quite thorough in answering all the questions I had for him. While I was waiting for the car, I wandered around the showroom checking out the 2011s. I had been somewhat considering buying a new car, but wasn't yet sure where, when or what I would buy. I loved driving my wife's RAV, and was of course familiar the RAV models, options, and cost from that purchase. In my showroom wandering, I encountered sales-rep Jesse Partridge. I asked her a few questions about the new RAVs out of curiosty, and in a very friendly way, with absolutely no pressure, she ran some numbers for me. As we talked, it was apparent that she was very knowledgeable about the vehicles, about current finance and incentive programs, and most importantly, in the time it took to service my wife's car, she had put together a deal that I was extremely happy with. This is the second Camry that I have bought from Boch Toyota and both times it has been a pleasure to do business with them. Everyone at the dealship is helpful, friendly and responsive. I was in the market for a 2011 Matrix, looking online I saw that Boch Toyota had the exact vehicle I was looking for. I called and spoke with Ben Potter in sales, who was very helpful and suggested I come saw that Boch Toyota had the exact vehicle I was looking for. Having purchased my last vehicle at Boch Toyota, and not having the best experience, I was a bit apprehensive. This dealership far exceeded my expectations. Ben Potter was great, friendly and honest with no games or pressure. I was given a fair price, they even offered to go get my old broken down trade-in and still give me money for it! Tom Suida in finance was a pleasure to deal with, he did not try to push me into buying anything that I did not want. After purchasing the vehicle, I needed to have the remote starter installed. The only time I could bring the car in was a Saturday afternoon. The service department was very busy and they still had the job done in under one hour! I would definitely recommend Boch Toyota. More
The Camry I leased this month was the second car I have acquired through Mr. Murthy and Boch Toyota. The other was a new Avalon that I perchased outright in 2008. Both transactions were not only satisfactory, but a pleasure - rare these days. The purchase of the Avalon went so well that I sought out Mr. Murthy about the Camry. Mr. Murthy was not only courteous, but he plainly conveys the idea that he is there to solve the customer's problem, rather than the customer being there to solve the sales person's problem. His follow up AFTER the sale is also exemplary. Since my acquisition of the Avalon 3 years ago, all my contacts (mostly service) with Boch Toyota have gone very well. My husband started with Ben Potter on the phone. We had been in a car accident and we wanted to replace our 2011 Toyota Sienna that had been totaled. He really knew his product. When Ben located the car, I went into the dealership, without my husband, and right away Ben greeted me with a smile and a firm handshake. Not some dead fish, which is very common when a man shakes a woman's hand. I liked that he did not treat me differently because I was a woman finishing up the deal that my husband had started over the phone. We agreed on a price and I was ready to pick up the car the next day. There was a tiny glitch with my insurance not faxing over info quick enough and Ben was able to have someone in the RMV dept. stay a little later on a Friday to finish up the paperwork. Thanks to him I was able to pick it up. More
