I purchased a Toyota Avalon fron this dealership 2 yrs ago because of the sales staff.Very friendly,not pushy and easy to deal with.Sice then I've brought my car back every 5k miles for service. I had a busted deal at another dealership and was frustrated with wasting my time face to face so I sent an email to 9 dealerships asking for a price quote. Bill Goulette was the first to respond and offered $612 lower than the next closest offer. Price was my only concern so I was dreading going to the dealership to have to deal with salespeople and sales managers. I was pleasantly surprised dealing with both Earley and Jonathan. I got everything I wanted but the color (which was close enough, I'm not picky) including an acceptable offer on my trade. A few hours later (they were very busy) I was driving home the 28 miles with my brand new Corolla (I drove by 2 to other Toyota dealerships). I had to force Jonathan to leave because he wanted to stay while I waited for the service guys to clean and prep my car and it was a little after 9 pm. Earley brought it around and helped me unload my old trunk which was full of stuff and reload my new trunk. I'm very pleased with my experience at Boch Toyota. More
I bought 6 cars (2 Camry, 2 Avalone, and 2 Sienna) from this dealersip over the past 27 years. I have noticed the attitude and service has dropped appreciably since it got big. I recently went there to look for a Camry hybrid, while the sales associate was pleasant, the sales manager was arrogant and showed no customer oriented attitude. I don't expected much discount on the hybrid, but this manager offers no discount and even tried to rip me off on the trade-in. I had searched the web and know about a fair trade-in value of the old car and so was prepared to negotiate. This sales manager simply said that Boch has changed its way of doing business and it no longer negotiate over prices, it was take it or leave it. So I promptly left. I was able to get $3000 more for the trade-in, on top of a decent discount at another dealership. I will not go back to Boch again. More
Excellent purchasing experience. Ben Potter had the knowledge and the dealer had the inventory. The process was efficient and painless. Very little waiting for test drive or paper work. Not the usual time consuming back and forth with the manager on price which makes me feel perhaps I did not get the excruciatingly best price. However the price and trade in fell in line with Kelly and Edmunds guidelines so I am quite content. More
I went to Boch looking for a new Avalon. I had purchased two Avalons in the past from Boch from Lloyd John. When I arrived I was met by John McDaniel who informed me Lloyd had move out of state. He explained to me the different types of wheels availalbe and suggested the type I need. I could not decide which interior color to get for my Corolla. So he took me outside to the parking lot and let me see both colors side by side. I appreciate that he took this extra step to help me make a clear decision. Thank you Samir! More
I went to Boch Toyota after going to another Toyota dealership. My salesperson was John McDaniel. John explained all the new features of the camry in great detail. John did not ever give me the high pressure sales tactic. I simply got a great new 2012 camry at a great price from a great salesmen. If you are looking for a salesperson who is going to be on your side and do all that he can for you, I suggest that you ask for John McDaniel at Boch Toyota, you won't regret it. I have been looking into a new prius for the last couple of months. With the current promotion with the end of November, I thought getting a new prius was too good to be true. Being raised in New England of months. With the current promotion with the end of November, I thought getting a new prius was too good to be true. Being raised in New England and hearing Ernie Boch on the TV, saying "Our costs are less, so we can sell for less"; I figured I would give Boch Toyota for a try. I was met promptly at the door and set up with an amazing sales associate (John). John explained everything about the Prius, the in's and outs, and the technology advances. However, once it came down to pricing; that's when it went down hill. Boch's costs are just about the same (and even started off more) compared to the other Toyota dealerships I went too. I forgot what the Sales Manager's name was; but I even said to him "Whatever happened to your saying "our costs are less so we can sell for less". After 90 minutes of going back and forth, we just couldn't make a deal. However, 5 Stars went out to John. By the end of it, we seemed to be like old friends. Working in the sales industry, I know that he needs to meet a goal for the day. And I wanted it to give him my business; since he was completely deserved my business. In the end, if Boch Toyota kept true to its slogan; I would be driving home in a new car. More
Buying a new car can often be a trying and time consuming experience. However, twice within the last two years I have had an exceptionally positive experience with Boch Toyota in Norwood. The most recent experience being a month ago when I brought our 2009 RAV4 (my wife's car) in for a service, and wound up buying another one for myself! The service person, Phil Marini, had the car properly serviced and back to me in a little over an hour, and was quite thorough in answering all the questions I had for him. While I was waiting for the car, I wandered around the showroom checking out the 2011s. I had been somewhat considering buying a new car, but wasn't yet sure where, when or what I would buy. I loved driving my wife's RAV, and was of course familiar the RAV models, options, and cost from that purchase. In my showroom wandering, I encountered sales-rep Jesse Partridge. I asked her a few questions about the new RAVs out of curiosty, and in a very friendly way, with absolutely no pressure, she ran some numbers for me. As we talked, it was apparent that she was very knowledgeable about the vehicles, about current finance and incentive programs, and most importantly, in the time it took to service my wife's car, she had put together a deal that I was extremely happy with. More
