Those two deserve at least 3 stars for effort. I honestly can say they tried their best if unfortunately still leaving me a bit unsatisfied with the results. So, I left another review on 8/27. I believe it wasn't very flattering for Boch Toyota in Norwood. I write this now in order to inform anyone truly interested in whether or not this dealership is worth spending your time and money on seeing as how I have to go through something negative each time I make a visit and I don't feel very comfortable while I'm there. I made an appointment for W 11/9 and they still weren't ready for me. I'll grant them that I gave them a sizeable list of things to inspect/work. Although I was there from 10:15am until approximately 5:30pm, which is a long time to wait, I do understand much of the time I waited. Like the majority of you, I expect a certain level of professionalism when I acquire any product from any company wanting what you've been putting in your pocket... that being money! Now, by the end of a previous visit, the company vehicle that I brought to them was returned with scratches along the passenger side of the vehicle as well as being left visibly dirty. Obviously, I was upset and so was the owner of the company I work with. So after talks and sending faxes/email's to the higher ups with evidence of the facts, it was agreed that it would be taken care of when I brought it in. Fortunately, they did a decent job this time, but there were times the service department seemed very uneager to get the scratches repaired and John Remy saw to it that they did. But, they still left some on the rear passenger door and one on the front passenger door. Understand that the damage occured while they had possession of the vehicle. The fact of the matter is that no client should endure this level of unprofessionalism from any establishment that portrays themselves as the best at what they do. They did however clean the car this time and gave me a tank of gas so that cheered me up a bit. But, I take exceptional care of any vehicle in my possession and I know what to look for when it comes to imperfections. At this point, it appears out of spite. Whether they'll admit it or not is something else. Our company excels at great costumer service which is necessary especially pertaining to the private livery car business. And, just as our clients expect the best, we also expect the best from companies we do business with. More
False Internet Pricing Based on a very low internet price quote for a RAV4, I scheduled an appointment to test drive the car. Before I could even arrive, I received a second email retracting the price quote and replacing it with a new price that was $500 more. I should have taken that as a bad sign. Bill Goullette (one of the online managers) emailed and said they would honor the quote so I kept my appointment. My salesman, Julian, was very professional and I would give him 5 stars if I could. After driving the car, we went forward on the deal. That is when things went downhill. They lowballed my trade (2000 less than I ended up getting elsewhere, 2500 less than KBB). Then a manager interrupted (not sure his name, balding with glasses and an anger management issue). He tried to take away the price I had been offered. I showed him my documentation of the lower price. He became angry and repeatedly made comments about how I shouldn't have been given that price (not my problem). He went to check on my trade and when he returned he announced that the car had just been "sold". Basically- they sent me a low quote, got me in the door, and tried to raise the price by giving me less for my trade. When I didn't fall for it, they didn't want to take the low price anymore! What a waste of my time. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Ironically, the very next day I got an email from Boch saying "we need your trade". This place doesn't have its act together. More
