No hassle car buying I was recently in the market for a new Toyota Tundra. I had purchased my previous Tundra from a Massachusetts dealership. I was under the assumption I was recently in the market for a new Toyota Tundra. I had purchased my previous Tundra from a Massachusetts dealership. I was under the assumption that the larger dealerships in Massachusetts would be able to give me the best deal. After several days of internet inquiries and a full day of visiting dealerships I found myself at Tarbox Toyota. Chris from the internet sales team was very aggressive with his pricing and beat the deal at Boch Toyota. I got there at 5pm and left at 630 with a new Tundra Crewmax Platinum. From the negotiation process to taking delivery went without a hitch. I negotiated with Josh Hebert (internet sales) all through email. I appreciate Tarbox working with customers online. My last 2 vehicles were negotiated via email. I literally dealt with over a dozen Toyota dealerships all through MA/RI/NH and Tarbox stood out. They didn’t have the truck in stock we want to purchase. Josh assured me the Sales Manager would try to look for a truck from other dealerships or directly through Toyota with the options we were looking for. What I thought would probably take at least a week only turned into 2-3 days. Josh was very prompt and patient with all of my questions. When we went to take delivery of the truck we met with Anthony Mancuso (salesman). He was extremely professional and prompt with showing us the truck and to get the ball rolling for us to take delivery. Anthony wanted to make sure we were in and out in a timely manner. We did not feel rushed but also didn’t want to waste time sitting around. In general the whole experience was excellent here were a few bullet point reasons why Tarbox stood out. 1. Able to inquire and negotiate via email. 2. Negotiation process fair and not painful. 3. Tarbox was at least $1,000 lower than all the other dealerships for the exact same truck. I emailed over a dozen dealerships. 4. Not one other dealership offered to “look” for a truck with the options we wanted. They only were dealing with what they had in stock. 5. All the staff were not the stereo typical “car salesman”. 6. If Tarbox cannot meet or beat the lowest rate quoted for financing they still keep their word at the negotiated price and the customer can finance elsewhere. More
