At 11:15 Car was brought in for basic service - oil change & hub cap replacement. Jude advised they will check if any other work needs to be performed. This is a fleet car and fleet company (wheels) change & hub cap replacement. Jude advised they will check if any other work needs to be performed. This is a fleet car and fleet company (wheels) needs to approve all service. This was clear when I arrived. I was told there is a process to submit all service through a website for approval. I gave Jude the phone number for the fleet company should he need to contact them by phone. No approximate wait time was provided. After waiting almost 2 hours I texted Jude for time frame when car would be ready. After that Jude came to see me and advised there was issue with brake pads they would like to address and needed Wheels to approve. At 2:30 (3 hours after I arrived) Jude asked if I had a corporate fleet contact I could call as they had not received approval through system. I asked if he tried to call the number I gave him when I arrived. He had not so I called wheels. They put me on hold and then advised approval would be given within 20 minutes. I went to let Jude know - he was not available at service desk & manager was on phone - unavailable. Texted Jude approval should be received within 20 minutes. After 20 minutes (3pm) I went to check with Jude or manager if they had approval. Manager was on phone with wheels - I advised I needed to be out by 4:30 & did not want to have to return. I was at dealership for 5 HOURS. Had I known I would have rescheduled to drop car off. Jude advised there is a process they must follow with system for fleet cars for service approval and could not call them. I was very frustrated at the time and communication. I called wheels when I returned to office. They advised a response on submissions put in through system should be received within 5 minutes - at most 10. If no response within that time they recommend resubmitting the order or calling. I must have my car serviced by dealership at times. I felt there was no consideration given as to length of time needed & should have at least been communicated. The day after this service I called and left a voicemail message for the fleet manager at the number on my invoice. I wanted to share my frustration with the lack of communication and share the info wheels had provided so we can avoid this happening again. No one returned my call. I will return for service only when directed by wheels that I must bring it to Nissan dealership. More
