First Car Buying Experience I recently went into Boch Nissan South to find my next car, which would be my first time buying a car. As a young first-timer I was very nervous and o I recently went into Boch Nissan South to find my next car, which would be my first time buying a car. As a young first-timer I was very nervous and overwhelmed by everything, and thought it would be a difficult experience. My sales rep, Yamin, could not have been more helpful, calm, and accommodating. He showed me the car I was interested in, talked me through the features, explained different options to me, and answered my many questions. I ended up purchasing a car that same day, and he has helped me through the entire process. I would highly recommend Yamin to help you find your next vehicle! More
Front collision warning system I previously had a Murano where the warning system beeped if you were getting too close to a car. My new Murano wasn't doing that, so I assumed it was I previously had a Murano where the warning system beeped if you were getting too close to a car. My new Murano wasn't doing that, so I assumed it wasn't working so I brought it in for service. Apparently the newer cars don't warm you...they just wait till you get too close and the cat brakes for you! Service explained everything too me AFTER they made sure it was working fine! Great job! On time delivery I made an appointment in advance and they were ready and waiting for me, I didn't even have to stop at the service desk. They replaced the control arms, did an oil change and rotated tires and returned my car to me at the time they promised. They told me I would feel a big difference in handling but I was skeptical. Nightmare Simply the worst. Rude and incompetent. Broke multiple things in steering column as part of airbag recall and then insisted it was normal wear and tea Simply the worst. Rude and incompetent. Broke multiple things in steering column as part of airbag recall and then insisted it was normal wear and tear. Had us pick up the vehicle with check engine light the first time, and then traction control and slip light on the second time. Had zero issues before bringing it in. Had to bring in multiple weeks in a row to get fixed despite them telling me everything was fixed. The first time they tried to charge us over $600 for a broken clock spring that wasn’t broken before they replaced the airbag, which it sits in front of in the steering column. Next was the Steering angle sensor. Manager on duty told me service memo NPSB-16-602 put out by Nissan that I found for the situation specific to an airbag change didn’t apply, and then told me the entire part had to be replaced for 800$ a few hours later. Nissan North America memo explicitly said the steering angle sensor needed (mandatory) to be reset when replacing the airbag, but manager insisted he’s done thousands of them this month and it doesn’t matter what the memo said, he knows better. Told me their staff needs to get paid and if money is an issue he could bring down to 460 something so that I could get my car back in working order (at this point I had no choice and they were charging me the diagnostic fee and the car was unsafe to drive as a result of their incompetence). Wasted over a hundred hours of my time so far, plus my wife’s time and my in-laws time. Waited forever on the reimbursement check the actual manager promised us when my wife finally caught him to discuss this blatant con, he said ‘they wanted to do the right thing’. Still even then, had to post this review on google maps which yielded them calling and emailing my wife repeatedly asking to take it down and for our address again because they had not even sent the check they said they had sent. Finally, we received a check for a little less than they had charged my credit card months earlier. I couldn’t think lower of this place. Definitely will be finding a new service center despite years of using them and having purchased the car from them. More
