To our complete satisfaction, we recently leased a 2012 Nissan Leaf SL in Super Black. We originally chose to visit the showroom out of curiosity, we had heard many good things about Nissan's 100% Electric Vehicle the Leaf, that we wanted to see it for ourselves. We had not planned on actually purchasing the vehicle that day. Speaking to Edwin Serrano, our sales associate, we learned that there are numerous state and federal incentives available for EV's right now. After consideration we realized that these incentives enabled us to leverage our savings to purchase the Leaf, which we got back from the State with ease. Edwin Serrano, our sales associate, is arguable the most attentive and helpful nissan sales associate one could hope for. His unending amiability makes him a pleasure to work with. He is knowledgable, and would tirelessly go out of his way to make sure we had everything we need. We have purchased five vehicles in as many years and Edwin Serrano at Rothrock Nissan, by far, has been the best vehicle sales associate we have encountered. Where financing is often a back and forth struggle when purchasing a new vehicle, we where quiet surprised with the financial procedure we encountered at Rothrock. Finance Specialist Mike Akutah seemed to work magic for our unique financial situation, adjusting the lease agreement accordingly to our needs and even working into the lease special options that meaningful for us to accomplish. It would be remiss of us to fail to mention Carl Rollins, the Rothrock Nissan Show Floor Manager, who sets the standard for excellent customer service. Carl is a respectable associate, helping us to accomplish the NanoForce we hoped for on our new EV Leaf and providing an atmosphere of uncompromising professionalism that is a 'breath of fresh air' in the vehicle buying experience. In closing, our entire experience at Rothrock Nissan was a pleasure. We love our new Leaf, and would not fail to recommend Rothrock to all our family and friends. I purchased a 2011 chrysler 200 with barrys help while bald headed and on chemo for breast cancer. Fastforward to today, one year later I am done with breast cancer treatment and cleared of cancer. I decided to trade in my 2011 chrysler 200 for a larger vehicle. it was always my hearts desire to own a jeep grand cherokee. After winning the battle with cancer with gods help, I decided to see if it was possible for me to do a trade. I went right back to barry and asked if I could do it. Barry helped me thru the process with ease and answered all my questions. I was at total peace during the entire process, barry is a trustworthy man and an assect to rothrock. He helped me purchase my hearts desire vehicle...2012 jeep grand cherokee. I am starting my new cancer free life ridin high and strong, just like my jeep. Brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation using Express Service. I have to hand it to Lisamarie. She was so nice and helpful. Van was towed in for dead electronic key (kills all elecronics) and they did diagnostics and n A complete nightmare with horrible customer service. Van was towed in for dead electronic key (kills all elecronics) and they did diagnostics and needed to replace the Electronic module also. Those were the only two items I requested adressed at the time I had it towed into the dealership. ONLY 25K miles and this Town & Country has been a lemon with it's 2nd front brakes now and the entire rear brakes magically seized up at 17K miles. All the original tires had to be replaced before 20K miles. Multiple A/C repairs along with the ridiculous number of RECALL memo's that get mailed to me on items. Once they got hold of the vehicle and without my permission or knowledge (the sole owner) they decided to do $300 air conditioner work (something they had repaired previously) and stuck me with $300 front brakes and held the vehicle for over a week after I was assured I would have it back in 3 days or less. No courtesy vehicle was provided as they hijacked the vehicle. I was REFUSED a chance to see the paperwork on the work being done for 9 days....NINE DAYS!!!!! I was REFUSED a chance to compare prises as neither the brakes nor the A/C were required items at the time and the dealership pricing was excessive on both. They even held the van hostage for several days after they had completed the unauthorized work. This is a nightmare to be abused by these con men. The van had just been in a Firestone for FULL check-up & oil change less than a week before Rothrock got a hold of it. Only the electronic issue was requested by me to be checked. Can you imagine the arrogance of these con men to intentionally circumvent the owner of the vehicle with the sole intention of over-charging for unauthorized work on this Town & Country? It's a very simple concept of Customer Service everywhere...you give the consumer a quote for the work to be done and let them DECIDE if they want it completed or can get it done elsewhere. This is intentional fraud and an organizational approved effort by Rothrock management to bully consumers into paying excessive prices for service work NOT requested by the vehicle's owner. If this dealership is this financially strapped that they have to pull such a disgraceful stunt then maybe they should be shutting their doors before the PA Attorney Generals office does it for them. Jay not only pointed out the positives but the negatives as well and we felt good knowing we were working with someone honest Jay then immediately pointed out a Pathfinder in which he thought would be a great deal for us he brought us into the office where started making negotiations with us and after seeing us and his manager were nowhere close to price he really battled to get the price down in our budget which resulted in our favor with purchasing the pathfinder. I don't believe we would have walked out of there with a car if it hadn't been for Jay's honesty and perseverance. I highly recommend going to Rothrock and seeking assistance from Jay if you're interested in buying a car. More
I had first purchased a new car from Rothrock back in November of 2003 and since then it has always been my first stop when looking for another vehicle or help friends look for them as well. The week of August 27 I had made another trip to Rothrock in order possibly trade in my original purchase and had selected 5 cars. The following day I returned in order to test drive 2 of them when deciding to purchase. Rothrock was my first and only stop I had made in order to purchase a vehicle. When I purchased my car in 2003, Ed long was the sales associate that helped me. This most recent purchase, I dealt with Doc Hoffer. Both of them have been a pleasure to work with when selecting a vehicle and made the process of buying a vehicle worthwhile. Again, I would continue to do business with Rothrock and also recommend them to anyone who would be interested in purchasing not only a new but also a used vehicle as well! Thanks again! More
My overall rating for the Rothrock dealership is "excellent". Salesmanship sells the dealership and Dan "Doc" Hoffer represented Rothrock with great customer service and professionalism. Doc is a no nonsense guy and we together we sealed a fair deal in just a couple of hours. We came to an agreement on my lunch hour and then Doc handled all the other purchase details via fax and phone with ease. Doc was also very attentive and his responses were timely. My vehicle was ready for delivery as promised. After I took delivery I noticed a cosmetic concern on the body fender, Doc had the body shop guys correct it immediately while I was at the dealership so that I didn't have to make another appointment and come back. So, overall, sales experience was great, all of my questions and concerns were addressed and I would recommend the process this dealer has set up. More
