Ms. Joyce and I met several days after she left the finance office without signing her contracts. After she left the finance office with no papers signed, our management team decided that we could not hold up inventory on a "maybe". The Elantra is a car that is very high in demand and very low in supply. We have several other paying customers that are waiting in line to take delivery of Elatras as they become available. We made a decision to sell the vehicle that she was originally interested in to a customer that was willing and able to purchase. When Ms. Joyce came to our dealership several days later, we offered to replace the original car with another one and she said that was not acceptable. We then offered to refund her deposit with no questions asked. We had no intentions of making Ms. Joyce's purchase difficult. We simply made a decision to sell a car that she remained undecided on. Barry Chew Sales Manager On Wednesday night I met Ms. Joyce for the first time. From our introduction she expressed to me that before signing any paperwork she wanted to review the contract. We reviewed the contract together and she immediately started questioning the entire contract. Even though it was the figures she had agreed upon she felt that the disposition fee shouldn’t be on the contract. She also expressed that the contract was too vague for her liking. I told her that it was better for her to speak to the sales manager cause she didn’t look comfortable. She said that she was not happy because of the color and she really didn’t want to proceed. She took the contract home to review it because being that this was her first lease she would not sign that night and was not sure if she would even proceed with the deal.
