The service I received at Clay was phenomenal. The salesman Brian was very accommodating during the sale process, we went through nearly a dozen options for me as far as leasing versus buying and the salesman Brian was very accommodating during the sale process, we went through nearly a dozen options for me as far as leasing versus buying and the types of vehicles available and what the payments would be for each possibility. We found a great deal on a Silverado that I was able to take advantage of. The sales staff gave me plenty of room to make my decision. The pinnacle of great service was the delivery of the vehicle. My work schedule is busy and my availability to pick up the car was always at odd hours. Brian was un-phased and put together a plan to deliver the truck directly to me on the hour of my choosing and at the location of my choosing. Everything went perfectly and I got my truck. Again, phenomenal service. I would absolutely recommend making this dealership one of your stops in your car hunt. I will certainly be back for my next truck. More

We knew what kind of car we wanted, had done some research, and had email contact with the dealer. When we arrived we had to wait almost two hours before anyone would sit down with us (even though we research, and had email contact with the dealer. It was a crowded Sunday, but the place was completely disorganized, with lots of salespeople roaming around, some of them looking like they didn't even work there (dressed so casually, and no name tags or anything to identify them as salespeople). I wish we had walked out that day, but we stuck with them, only to eventually put a deposit on a car that was not really available (they cooked up some story that seemed fake -- I think they probably sold our car to someone else) and we had to demand our deposit back. There was a lot of crazy stuff about the pricing too -- they really made you feel as if you couldn't trust them at all. Very bad vibes there. When we went to another dealer we realized what actual professionals should look and sound like, and how we should be treated. Terrible experience. More
I dealt with this dealership for over two weeks in which time they renegotiated with me due to the inability to produce my desired vehicle. This new deal they made with me was one in which they were losing time they renegotiated with me due to the inability to produce my desired vehicle. This new deal they made with me was one in which they were losing money, regardless they offered that price and shook on it. After having left several messages in an attempt to come up with a time to pick up the vehicle I had left a deposit on I learned that they sold it without informing me for a better profit to another customer. They refunded my deposit check and I went elsewhere. THIS BUISNESS HAS RECENTLY LOST THEIR BETTER BUISNESS BUREAU ACCREDITATION The only positive I can say is that our salesperson (Luke) was always optimistic and kind to us. We never had any issues with him and he was always prompt in returning phone calls unlike the management team. More
If you read my initial review, you probably saw that I was frustrated due to a some minor miscommunications that took place during the car buying process. However, in the past few days, the dealership really stepped up to make sure that I was happy with my purchase and they were really responsive to fixing the few things that had gone wrong. I was contacted by several managers and they took action to fix what went a little awry. I really appreciated the time they took to give me a call - it is a great indication of true customer service. In hindsight, I probably should have waited a few days before posting a review to allow for everything to straighten out but I was already in a skeptical mood due to a bad experience that I had at a different dealer earlier in the week. Reasons why I highly recommend Clay: Clay Hyundai was able to offer a great price on the Hyundai Elantra that was considerably lower than a lot of other dealerships in the region (they price matched truecar.com). The sales rep that I worked with was FANTASTIC (Jerry). I would highly recommend that you ask for him when you come in. One of the issues that I had was with a glitch in transferring the registration from my old car to the new one. Because Massachusetts only allows 7 days to complete this transaction, it was coming down to the deadline. As such, Jerry drove the registration up to my workplace (more than 30 miles away each way) ON HIS DAY OFF to make sure that I got it on time. Major kudos to this guy!! He really went out of his way to make sure that everything was perfect. Finally, I ended up with a great car. It's obviously way too early to know that for certain but after a few days of driving it, I'm really happy with my purchase. The Hyundai's have come a long way in the last few years. More

He, and his sales managers, worked very hard to find the right car for me. They were all pleasantly persistent without being pushy. They offered me several options, were very flexible, and put together a great deal on a new car. After agreeing on a deal, the office staff were just as pleasant and helpful in getting the paperwork done. I am very happy with the car, the deal and the experience.
