Sleezy Tactics, Unprofessional Behavior I had been watching pre-owned inventory online for Boch West and Acton Toyota. We have had great experience with multiple cars from Acton Toyota, really low financing and simple process with them. We expected the same from Boch Honda. Went to test drive a pre-owned Accord on a Sunday. They didn't have anything of interest in my price range but we test drove a 2016 to get a feel for the ride. Sales person jumped into car with us (Acton Toyota doesn't do this), kept up the sell but I told him not interested in the model we drove. We wanted something with a sunroof, nothing on the lot had one, but we were given a quote of $1300 to install. (Toyota gave us the same price for a Camry.) Three days later, I get an online alert that a car i was interested in was reduced by $1000, now in my price range. I contact sales person, tell him I'm interested and come in for a test drive. Express interest in installing sunroof, and suddenly price goes up by $1000! We passed on the sunroof due to blatant lie. Gave deposit, and was told we would be given a finance rate shortly. When asked if I didn't accept their rate, was told I could just not sign the paperwork. What they didn't tell until days later is that I HAD TO FINANCE through them (no matter the rate) because it was a great deal on the car!!!!! This was not told to us up front before deposit was put down. I had time to research rates (found 3.5), told them I would NOT take the car at a rate of 5.6, which their finance person quickly called with a lowered rate of 4.9! Since the car was a great price with little mileage, we decided to go ahead and purchase, knowing that we could refinance immediatley with no penalty. Then, upon going back to sign the paperwork, we were intentionally left waiting for the finance guy for over 30 minutes. We finally told them we were leaving if they were too busy to take care of us right away. Because of their sleezy and unprofessional tactics, we will not be going back for service or any additional car purchases (we own 4 cars). More
We went on down and didn’t regret it. We went to Boch Honda West a day after going to a closer dealership in a group we’d done business with before. At the closer dealership, the salesman acted as though he couldn’t care less if we bought a car or not. The difference between him and the dealership and Tim and Boch Honda was night and day. Buying a car that costs tens of thousands of dollars is stressful enough. Tim and Boch Honda at least took interest in us and found a way for us to walk away with the car we wanted. There’s no perfect deal, but we’re satisfied with the results we got. More

Once I decided that the Honda Clarity was the car for me, Time helped me to get the color I wanted and was able to get it ready for me the following Wednesday. I took delivery and have been happy with my purchase! More

No help. Purchased a vehicle with a Tire protection plan (I know), but have been working for months to get the plan cancelled after I tried the vehicle in. The Honda dealership was very professional in pulling up Kelly bluebook and explained all the reasonings behind their price. The salesman, Ryan, showed us the makes and models in stock even going through some of the drawbacks with the cars to be up front and honest. We appreciated this honesty and his professional demeanor. We ended up buying a 2015 CRV that Ryan had recommended. More

Justin: Bad buying experience I stopped in to look at a used Pilot, as I was helping my son select a vehicle (he's away in the Army). I was just trying to compare it to a competitive Toyota model, not looking to buy at the time. I shared all this when I checked in and manager introduced me to Justin. Justin sat me down and started working me through his qualifying checklist. Who am I, what do I value in a vehicle -- we've all been asked these before, but again, I'm not buying the vehicle. I had also purchased one call and had our cars serviced there. I was in their system and a known customer. When he started asking financing questions, my patience evaporated. I said I just wanted to see/drive the Pilot. He took my license and was gone for at least five minutes and came back to tell he was then going to look for the car. When he "located it," he directed me out, handed me the key and proceeded to get in the car with me. I just wanted to drive the car, so I went along with it. He just kept trying to chat me up and build rapport. I couldn't get back to the dealership fast enough. He said we should go in and talk about what I thought. I told him again that I'm not going to buy it. We walk in and when he directs me to sit and he goes off to talk to a manager, I leave. As I'm pulling out, the manager stops my car and asks when my son is coming to buy the car. I said he probably wouldn't based on my interaction. He said Justin had to ride along due to insurance policies, but I drove multiple vehicles at Acton Toyota with barely a handshake and a copy of my license plate. Very disappointed in the entire experience -- especially given we have 2 Acuras and a Honda in the family (and other Hondas before that) -- and bought one of them at this dealership. Bad "sales consultant" and bad manager reaction. More
Awful! Scam artists! AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL! What a waste of time! These people are all about the money!! I went in knowing which vehicle I wanted to see, test drove it, and th AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL! What a waste of time! These people are all about the money!! I went in knowing which vehicle I wanted to see, test drove it, and then told the sales agent that I was already approved at a rate of 3.15 with my credit union. He tells my husband and me that he is sure they can get us a better rate, and we confirmed this with him TWICE!!! After waiting and finally getting to sales, the interest rate they present us with is 5.6!!! Are they nuts?! I declined their offer (after discussing and checking with managers regarding the rate I was told) and said I’d go through my own bank- THEN THEY SAID THEY WOULDNT SELL ME THE CAR IF I CAME BACK WITH A BANK CHECK TO BUY IT OUTRIGHT!!!! The audacity!!! It would cost me thousands more to finance with them! So I can only buy the car if I finance with them because they’d make more money off of me! Left there with no car and with my credit having been checked at 3 different banks when I didn’t even need it checked in the first place!!! Scam artists! I will be filing a consumer complaint to the Attorney General’s office! More
Nobody is a 5 but Tim is pretty close I knew exactly the car I wanted when I went in. Tim was professional and friendly. No games. Just received a very stress free car shopping experience.
