The vehicle that "fit" our criteria was $3000 more than where we wanted to be. Salesperson assured us dealer would drop the price to our range. DIDN'T HAPPEN! Next a manager came over and the amount we were putting down jumped again- to $3000. Coincidence? The manager then proceeded to tell us our criteria was unrealistic in a tone that talked down to us. Guess what? We went to another Honda dealer and gave them the same criteria. They not only had several options that were very realistic, but we purchased one of those options that day. Best place to buy a Honda! This was the best car-buying experience I've ever had! I looked on the Boch website for a CRV, and clicked on the price request button. I got an immediate reply from Scott K., with a great quote, and then made an appointment at the dealership for the same day. We met with Chris Driscoll, he took us for a test drive, explained all the features of the CRV, and honored the price quote from Scott. He did not argue with us, "need to talk to the manager" about the price, or push anything upon us. We bought the car on the spot. This is the way car shopping SHOULD be! Chris was very knowledgeable, helpful, and polite. He was not condescending to me because I'm a woman either, like some car salesman are. That dealership still utilizes the barbaric, outdated sales approach with bullying Sales Managers. I walked out. After having the opposite experience with Boch West, I wrote to Atamian and suggested they send their managers/sales staff to visit dealerships like Boch to see how it SHOULD be done. I had called 9 dealerships for pricing and vehicle availability. I went to Bock knowing exactly what I wanted and Zach followed through to delivery. He was thorough, courteous, kind, professional and personal. His detailed orientation was fantastic and had us completely set up with phones synched before we left the lot. Every other part of the sale/business office interaction went very smoothly. More
