I basically sat in on a salesman candidate’s job interview that was carried out by Chris in the CUSTOMER WAITING AREA. Compensation and commission numbers and sales expectations could be heard by anyone sitting or walking by. • Extreme time wasting, you’ll get told things like,” its summer, people on vacation, we’re short staffed, there was miscommunication”. But they don’t care if they waste your time, as long as they get your money. • Zero remorse or taking of responsibility. After being treated like dirt, the girl at the front desk was left to do ALL of the apologizing. Even though none of it was her fault. But Chris could not be bothered to take any of the responsibility. Zach was my salesperson, and he did everything just fine. It was his colleague Chris that basically ruined the whole experience in every way. The first interaction with Chris was on a Tuesday or Wednesday when I tried to explain to him that I would not have time to remove the aftermarket stereo, amp and all wiring out of my trade –in until the weekend. Because of that I said, I’ll keep the car and throw in an extra $500 on the down payment so we can do the deal right now. Because of course he wanted/needed me to sign everything right then and there. He clearly didn’t like anything I was saying and asked to see what I was talking about. He brought along someone from the service dept. to take a look at my handiwork and when they were satisfied with that they both took off. No word, no nothing. Just disappeared and left me there confused about what the xxxx he was even looking for. I went back inside and Zack wasn’t anywhere to be found either. About ten minutes later he showed up and explained to me that he wouldn’t be able to deliver the car up to NH until the following Tuesday anyway. So my thought was, “what the xxxx was the point of that whole ordeal?” But at the time I figured it was just dumb salespeople tactics. I brushed it off because I expected some level of that stupidity anyway. But it was a waste of about a half hour that changed absolutely nothing. When I’m finally ready to go talk to the finance guy it’s already getting late. It’s a little after 5pm and I have places to be. Zack tells me to sit in the waiting area that they are finishing up with someone else and will be right out to get me. At some point he tells me that a lot of people are on vacation and they are short staffed. After about 30 min he tells me this once again. They will be right out, he’s almost done. It’s now just after 6pm and I’ve been waiting about an hour. I did have to leave by 7pm and I made sure to let them know this fact the next time I was approached. Kurtis the finance guy comes out finally about 15 minutes later. I tell him that I need to leave by 7pm. I also add that if it’s easier, I will come back tomorrow. He tells me to hold on, comes back and says he got a friend to help him, that he will have me out by 7pm. At 6:35 he finally calls me into his office and we get the paperwork done rather quickly and I was impressed that he delivered on his word. When I left his office I looked at my phone, it was 7:01. Lesson here is they are capable of getting things done in a timely manner. However their reviews and my experience so far makes it very clear that they choose not to. Friday comes and this is the day that we agreed that I would come in and drop off the down payment. Zach is out that day so I called the dealership to make sure someone else would be notified that I was coming in. I called at around 9am saying that I will be there between 11 and 11:30am. The girl on the phone says it’s no problem “we work as a team” someone will be there to assist me. When I arrive I talk to the girl at the front desk. Chris happens to be walking by at this moment. The girl calls out to him “Chris, this is Zach’s customer….” He looked her way briefly but didn’t even acknowledge me, said nothing and kept on moving. So she turned to me and nicely asked me to go sit in the waiting area that he’ll be over shortly. About 5 minutes later Chris walks over to the waiting area and sits down with a man sitting at the table right next to me. I’m thinking, what the xxxx is this? He’s going to blow me off again?? This wasn’t a customer though it was a job interview! He rattled of compensation numbers and sales expectations to everyone in ear distance not just the candidate. I was sitting at the table next to them, so close that I might as well have been in the interview. Now, I’ve never been interviewed for a sales position. But I would have thought any job interview is performed in a closed office, especially when talking compensation numbers!! I couldn’t believe how absolutely unprofessional that was. Apparently the candidate had forgotten his ID that day so they had to pause the interview. I figured great, he’ll come over to me or at least say he’ll be right over… NOPE. Walked away to do something else. By now it had been 20 minutes and I was fed up and went to leave. I go to the front desk to tell the girl that I was leaving and tell Chris I’ll come back later. She proceeds to apologize repeatedly and tries to shoulder all the blame. She calls Chris on his cell and tells him that I’ve been waiting here for 20 min. He comes right over and STILL doesn’t acknowledge my existence. No apology. No words at all. He instead runs over to grab Kurtis. While I’m left there again the girl at the desk continues to apologize. It was NOT her fault. Kurtis emerges about 2 minutes later, almost running out of his office. We go to another desk where he takes the check, I get a receipt and leave. It took under 5 minutes, and that’s all it should have taken to begin with. Once again unnecessary time wasting and customer neglect. Zach delivered the car on the following Tuesday at the time agreed with no issue. And I do appreciate that. But I am grateful that he brought the car to my town hall and that I won’t ever have to step foot inside Boch Honda West ever again. What I learned here is that they do not work well as a team, not all of them. There is a clear disconnect between scheduling and who is available to attend to customers. Or they just don’t care at all. Probably a little of both. That made a clear vibe of indifference towards the customer once the deal had been done. Do yourself a favor read reviews on Yelp and Google and then take your business elsewhere. More

The dealership is clean, enough parking, comfortable desk areas, and even better customer waiting area. We met Amy while shopping for a car for our daughter. Amy sat with us to determine what would be the best fit while always considering my daughter's needs and budget. Amy was personable and warm from start to finish, and we loved the fact that she displayed her son's artwork by her desk with such pride. My daughter loves her new car and we really appreciate the time and attention Amy showed us. More

Zach was knowledgeable and steered me towards a purchase. As in any car purchase, there is a high-pressure sales manager to help negotiate. That person was not as nice as Zach, but I ended up buying a car with everything I wanted. Price was higher than I hoped for, slightly higher than market value but not ridiculous. More

We had to negotiate on the price of the new car with one of the managers and this is never a particularly fun process regardless of dealership, but in the end we felt that we got a fair deal and are extremely happy with the car we drove home. The person I bought the car from was Tim McLean and he was extremely helpful and felt like I was part of the family. They were not pushy as some places can be and very professional and friendly. Tim made me feel at ease right away and really worked hard with me to get a good price and car that I wanted. I would definitely refer a friend to Tim and the Boch dealership. Thank you so much Time and Boch you really were great to deal with. It's a beautiful dealership with state of the art service. More
