After having good conversations with several sales people on the phone I ventured over on a friday to try and negotiate a deal on a CR-V. I spent 5 and a half long hours negotiating a deal. I then spent anot on the phone I ventured over on a friday to try and negotiate a deal on a CR-V. I spent 5 and a half long hours negotiating a deal. I then spent another half an hour in the finance dept, at which point I was told that the sales person had been dishonest with the finance dept about our credit and the deal we had spent 5 hours working on would not be approved with the bank. I then called back on monday, tuesday and wednesday and left messages with sales people, a floor manager and several members of the finance dept. Finally, Karen in finance called me back to say that our credit was in danger of dropping from Tier 1 to Tier 2 and if one more business checked our credit that it would most certainly drop and then we would be forced into a much higher APR. She then explained that we would need to buy the more expensive Pilot so we could use the rebate to cover the negative equity in our trade in. She spent a long time on the phone with me explaining all this and of course I thought she seemed very honest and helpful. Karen explained that at minimum we would be looking at a $600 monthly payment and that this was the only option for us to be approved. I believed her and when after 5 days she hadn't returned any of my phone calls I then spent the next 2 (!) weeks calling and speaking with a different person each time. Each person told me that they would call the bank the next day to try and get me approved and then call me back, never once did anyone follow through. To be honest after being told that if another person (dealer) checked our credit we would drop to Tier 2 I was so afraid that this was true (even though I knew we had Tier 1 plus credit only a few months earlier) that I kept trying to make this work. When I finally got Karen in finance on the phone she explained that the bank would only approve the purchase with a $720 monthly payment. I then said we'd be going somewhere else. I then went to Prime Toyota (who I can't recommend enough, ask for Charlene! Finally a female car salesperson!!! Russ the manager was great and so is Mac the head of Finance.) and then I found out I had fallen for one of the oldest dealer tricks in the book, lying to a customer about their credit so they don't go to another dealer. After they checked our credit at Prime we were told we were still Tier 1 plus. Honestly, being lied to repeatedly about one's credit is a terrible experience to go through and for certain those were not the only things I was lied to about. Additionally their prices are no lower than any other Honda dealer in the area. Beware! More
These people were rude, not nice and SO pushy. I decided I couldnt give my money or business to people I disliked so much. I bought my car at Prime Honda where I immediately liked everyone in the dealership I couldnt give my money or business to people I disliked so much. I bought my car at Prime Honda where I immediately liked everyone in the dealership, they are nice guys, so not pushy. They showed me the car and they asked what they needed to do to earn my business. Here is a letter I wrote to Boch Honda. Hello I am writing to let you know that I have purchased a Honda CRV (the EX L module with Navigation) from Prime Honda in Dedham/West Roxbury. To be perfectly honest with you, I really found my sales representative Tom Rybak extremely rude. I decided I would not give my business and my money to someone who treated me so poorly. I was in your dealership two times. The first time was on Saturday December 20th, you were the very first dealership I walked into. Of course, being my first trip in, I was at the beginning stages of a car search. Due to snowy weather conditions, Tom wasn't able to show me the Honda CRV. So since he couldnt show me the car, I asked him if he could give me pricing. At that point, he become extremely pushy and rude. First of all, I hadn't even SEEN the car so why in the world would I be ready to buy a car? He was practically yelling at me asking me if I had a check on me, or a credit card or cash to out down on a car. A car I hadn't even seen! I finally was able to leave and we left it that I would come back to look at the car. Due to snowy weather conditions, I wasn't able to get back to the dealership the following day. I got a very obnoxious phone call from Tom basically accusing me of giving him phony phone #s. He told me he called my work # and they had never heard of me and he started giggling in a weird way. I have worked at the same place for almost nine years, I can assure you, I gave Tom the correct phone #. What kind of a salesperson, would call a prospective customer and accuse them of giving a phony phone number? People buy from people they like. I work in sales and I never treat people the way Tom rudely treated me. I returned to the dealership again on Saturday December 27th. Tom was able to show me the car and I was able to take a test drive. After the test drive, Tom was back to being his rude, pushy self. He again was rudely asking me if I had a check or a credit card or me. I told him my father told me not to bring this stuff on purpose and Tom said I should stop listening to my father. At that exact point, I decided I would never buy a car from Tom Rybak or Boch Honda. What kind of a human being tells a young woman not to listen to her father. I have no respect for Tom Ryback, I think he is a mean person. I am very happy that I gave my business to Prime Honda. They were nothing but nice to me and not the least bit pushy. When I told my salesperson I needed to speak to my father first, do you know what he said? He said to me, of course you need to speak to your father, take your time and get back to us. They also asked what they needed to do to earn my business. I decided to give them my business. More
At first, I dare to go to Boch, based on their reviews here. I live in CT, and I quoted a lot of dealers for my Civic 09. The boch gave the cheapest price. (Bernardi tried to match them, but they chea here. I live in CT, and I quoted a lot of dealers for my Civic 09. The boch gave the cheapest price. (Bernardi tried to match them, but they cheated when I go to their dealership, they tried to add hidden fees, push me to use their financing, when I have cash in hand.) I waited several days, Keith from the internet department called me about the new 500 incentive from Honda. Once I go to their dealership, they even reduced 20 dollars from my internet quote, which is already a very good price. Another salesman, Lee, took me and my gf to 3 different lots to find the color we like, very friendly. No pressur, very comfortable. Financial manager Caryn is also very friendly and helpful. This is just my review on Boch. My suggestion is, before you going to some dealership and want to get a deal. Do some homework ahead, there are a lot of website, like edmunds, KBB, or just google. Good luck to everyone More
This past summer I brought my 1996 Honda Civic to Boch Honda because my air conditioning wasn't working and because I was due for an oil change. Also, my belts squeaked a little when I started the car. I Honda because my air conditioning wasn't working and because I was due for an oil change. Also, my belts squeaked a little when I started the car. I also had an SRS light on my dashboard which came on after a jump that I had gotten earlier that year. I brought all these issues to their attention and they said they would look at it. (Mind you, the summer beforehand the air conditioning also broke and they "fixed it" then too, only to have it break the next summer.) While working on my car they said that it would cost over $1000 to turn off the SRS light. They also said they fixed the belts, and needed to order a $800 part to fix the air conditioning (again, supposedly fixed the summer before). They also said my brake drums needed replacing or my car would fail its annual inspection. They also said that the light absolutely had to be turned off or else the car would fail inspection. I took my car at that point (without the oil change being done.) I took my car to National Tire and Battery to have them look at the brakes. They said nothing was wrong with the break drums. I brought my car to get inspected, and it passed inspection, light on and everything. Recently, my car had trouble starting, so I brought it to a mechanic who said the belts needed to be fixed. Wait a minute, didn't Boch Honda fix the belts a couple months ago? The mechanic also managed to turn off the SRS light for free. We will never go back to Boch Honda. More

I got an internet quote and they were very pishy telling me I had the offer for that day only & that I needed to call and give my credit card number over the phone or would lose the car/deal. Nothing worse than being pushy and trying to pressure someone into a sale of something that is nearly $30K. Once I told them I had a better deal elsewhere they tried to give me incentives to go with them after stating their last offer was the best they would do. The contacting then would not stop and kept trying to "get me in for a test drive" and to help "win me over". Not an honest dealership to deal with. So glad I decided to go elsewhere and purchase the new car. Truly I was a number here and they didn't care about anything else except my sale. The experience was not pleasant at all and would not recommend this dealership. Ultimately went with Herb Chambers of Westboro & was SO glad I did. What a difference! Would recommend NOT go to this dealership!!! More
I agree, I would not even give this dealership one star. If you want to be treated like an idiot, this place is for you. The "cost" of the cars on line is completely different from what the dealership quot If you want to be treated like an idiot, this place is for you. The "cost" of the cars on line is completely different from what the dealership quotes you as a price (quoted price is $2-3M higher than "Cost" on line). The salesperson at BOCH said the "cost" on the website is what Boch actually paid to acquire the car. Door to door, this dealership insulted my intelligence. For a dealership which touts the most Honda sales in North America, I'm extremely disappointed. More
I went in to purchase a vehicle I had seen advertised on the web. They had the vehicle and all was well until we reached the finace dept. They explained that because of my credit I would be paying a higher the web. They had the vehicle and all was well until we reached the finace dept. They explained that because of my credit I would be paying a higher interest rate. They told me my credit score was in the mid 600's. I had gotten my scores earlier in the day and they were in the 700's. I got up and walked out after letting them know that I did my homework and that they had a false report from their credit folks (CREDICO). I asked for my deposit back and was told that it would be reveresed off of my card in a couple of days. A week later I was called and told that there was a glitch and i qualified for the low rate and asked if I'd come back. That night i also received a call from Polina at Boch to report that the charge had been reversed on my card. (it hadn't been) I returned and asked that the deposit that I had not received back be credited to the car. They said a check was in the mail. I walked. Within the next few days I heard the check in the mail story twice and finally it was reversed from my card. I was a repeat customer of Boch and used them for services also but their behaviors proved that my business was not wanted. I ended up with a Certified Preowned BMW for the same price as the Honda and the Folks at the BMW Gallery were actually nice to deal with and no credit score issues. More

May I just ACTUALLY NO STARS (but you made me pick one) My husband has been hunting for my new honda civic Ex with nav at a few dealers this week. May I just say that BOCH HONDA WAS THE WORST>>> He decided to go there to compare prices with what we had been offered so far (included my trade).. The sales people first came out with an offer that was $8000 which was more than 2 other smaller dealers we had been to. Then my husband said fine..thank you for their time..yada yada.. and asked for the keys back for my trade (they had them to look at trade in value).. then they persisted in what was wrong with that price.. no other dealer can beat that.. My husband told them how he had a dealer who had a price that was less than half.. (PETERS HONDA-NASHUA) and Boch said that dealer is nothing.. they are pee ons.. they cant match us we are the biggest dealer around.. My husband again asked for his keys again.. they then brought Jow Blow the sales mgr over to say they would match Peters price.... My husband again instead he get his keys back NOW... Finally after making a scene my husband got his keys, as he was leaving the sales mgr actually blocked his car then proceeded to lean in his open window to say he was getting a great deal... two minutes later my husband gets a call ..he hadn't even made it to route 1 yet... come on back.. deals all set.. great deal..yada yada.. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE BOUGHT FROM PETERS HONDA NASHUA (the pee ons as they were referred to by BOCH).. Also I hear BOCH is building a new honda dealership in my hometown of Westford.. WELL I WILL BE TELLING EVERYONE (ALL MY NEIGHBORS>>FELLOW TOWNIES) HOW MUCH THEY SUCK>> More
When I walked into the dealership, bells were ringing, and everyone was going crazy because they had sold a car. I thought this a bit foolish, but I was greeted by a pleasant young man by the name of John and everyone was going crazy because they had sold a car. I thought this a bit foolish, but I was greeted by a pleasant young man by the name of John McMahan. He walked me through the numbers in purchasing my new '09 Accord V6 EX-L, and was offered the best deal I have come across. I then met with a manager Paul, I felt a little battered and bruised after that, but John assured me that this was just a part of the process. I went into finance and dealt with Desiree, and she was a delight, a breath of fresh air. Everything was straight to the point. I walked out that day with my brand new car. And I haven't been happier since. Thank you Boch Honda! More
