Boch Honda was running a deceptive ad on President's day weekend for a sign and drive lease on an Element. I was impressed at the ad ....Elements do not have good lease numbers. When I inquired about the le weekend for a sign and drive lease on an Element. I was impressed at the ad ....Elements do not have good lease numbers. When I inquired about the lease promotion on the Boch website...I was answered by Darnell.. Darnell was looking to sell a straight up lease on an Element. When I discussed the promotion...Darnell seemed to know about it....and said it does not start until tomorrow...it is on only two cars...was argumentative about the ad that advertised there were a 100 Elements. When I inquired on the telephone the next morning..I heard from Jarzan there were only two cars left at this price...there also was 1800 up front for fine print...I learned it was not a true sign and drive with zero down as the ad was boasting. Jarzan said it was 'first come first serve basis'.....did not sound real...in only two colors. When I inquired later on in the afternoon...Mike....sounded like a mechanic...said there was only one left at this price..in a different color than Jarzan said earlier..Mike became offensive when I said the ad said there were 100 Elements in the ad. When I came down later in person in the evening,...... a salesman, an older person waited on me and assured me there were zero Elements left at this promotion..Mark S. greeted me... he knows me from dealing with him while I was looking to get my refund on a deposit previously...difficut to get....Mark S. did not seem to know about the promotion on the Element..Mark S. went to the other side of a car in the showroom and whispered to the older saleperson that was waiting on me. The older salesperson went over to a desk....I was showed numbers that were crazy too high on the only other Element left in the lot..the ad from a day ago said there were 100..the older salesperson also was discouraging about leasing a Fit...Mark S. and the older salesperson that waited on me seemed to have already reached their quota for the day, had a number of lines to defend the ad, were not too helpful........ The older salesperson said the two Elements at the promotion were loss leaders and they were sold before the showroom opened in the morning. I was given different information on the telephone before I came down about they have two leftin the lot at the promotion...Boch Honda is the leader in deceptive advertising, high pressure sales and other gimmicks.......... For boasting that Boch Honda is number one in sales....the showroom does not seem to care about the negative experiences on the dealeraters site..the real ad is Boch Honda is number one in high pressure sales, bad experiences, deceptive ads...................................... I bought my Honda about 2 and 1/2 years ago. I love my car and I love this dealership! I bought my car from Boch and have had my car serviced here-Everytime. Every Oil Change, maintance and any concerns car and I love this dealership! I bought my car from Boch and have had my car serviced here-Everytime. Every Oil Change, maintance and any concerns I've had with the car-I have always been treated EXCELLENT! My latest trip to Boch was for an oil change, I had 2 of my kids with me. Sean greated me and my kids with a big smile, asked what I was there for and showed me where the "kids room" was so they wouldn't get impaitent waiting for the car to be serviced. As we were waiting a very nice, kind woman, with a BIG Smile named Maria walked by and saw me and my kids hanging out in the room and told us there were some snacks in the main waiting room and to go help ourselves. She walked us over and showed myself and kids what there was for them-complementary.... MY kids were eleated! Fruit cups, muffins, coffee-This dealership knows how to take care of their customers! When the car was ready about 40 minutes later-seamed like we were there for only 10 minutes-Sean came and got us, walked us to the cashier and explained what was done to the car. He THANKED US-for letting him take care of us-were do you find that kind of customer service these days. My kids can't wait to go back there again! More
I live in Maine and was on vacation when I got a flat tire. I then took my car to Boch Honda for service. I was greeted as soon as I arrived by Sean who was very helpful and friendly. The tire needed to tire. I then took my car to Boch Honda for service. I was greeted as soon as I arrived by Sean who was very helpful and friendly. The tire needed to be replaced, they were able to complete this repir in a timely manner and had me and my children back to our vacation in no time. The children loved the children's room. There were movies to watch and activities to play with to keep them busy. I only wish I lived closer so I could have this type of service on a regular basis. More
I know every experience is different, but I think a lot of that is more the sales person than the dealership itself (what's that old saying about bad apples). I took my Mom, Rose, to by her first new car of that is more the sales person than the dealership itself (what's that old saying about bad apples). I took my Mom, Rose, to by her first new car in a long time. I wanted to make sure that she wouldn't get the proverbial run around. I looked up the cost on-line and knew that I would have to pay around that cost. I did my mom's homework, but I think it really paid off. There were almost no negotiations and little to no haggling. Our Salesman, Will, was pretty nice, and more importantly patient. He never spoke down to us. I liked that the finance dept didn't try to pull any fast ones either. Caryn was direct and thorough. After the deal was signed off on, we left and picked up our car the next day. We called to make sure it was ready, a girl in service, Maria, told us that it was ready, washed and stickered. She even told me where it was parked. All in all, it’s not something I enjoyed doing, but I won’t be going anywhere else when I go to look for my new car. More

Within the past couple of weeks I received a notification from BOCH Honda in Norwood MA an invitation for the Washington's Birthday sales promotion included was to be a drawing for $8,888.88. My wife and I d from BOCH Honda in Norwood MA an invitation for the Washington's Birthday sales promotion included was to be a drawing for $8,888.88. My wife and I decided to enter this on the evening of the drawing. We arrived at the dealership 1/2 before the drawing (and within the allowable timeframe to enter the drawing). The drawing was to be held at 7:00pm and entries were allowed up until that time. When we arrived we asked about the drawing for that evening and was directed to the center of the showroom floor. We waited until 7:15 before asking when the drawing would be and we were told shortly. I asked a manager for more of an exact time and he asked one of the vice presidents who said they were running '...a little slow' and that the drawing would be at 8:00pm instead. When 8:00pm arrived we asked again and was told that the drawing was moved to an undisclosed location sometime in the afternoon and that the drawing had already been held 'hours earlier'. My wife and I spent over two hours waiting for a drawing that we were never allowed to enter at a location NOT listed on the announcement. What kind of a dealership would do such things...I have reported this shady dealer with the Better Business Bureau, the Massachusetts Secretary of the Commonwealth, the state's Attorney General Office. There is no monetary loss except the possibility to be entered into a 'FAIR' lottery at the dealership offering a single prize of $8,888. I hope you do not have dealings with this dealership! More
After having good conversations with several sales people on the phone I ventured over on a friday to try and negotiate a deal on a CR-V. I spent 5 and a half long hours negotiating a deal. I then spent anot on the phone I ventured over on a friday to try and negotiate a deal on a CR-V. I spent 5 and a half long hours negotiating a deal. I then spent another half an hour in the finance dept, at which point I was told that the sales person had been dishonest with the finance dept about our credit and the deal we had spent 5 hours working on would not be approved with the bank. I then called back on monday, tuesday and wednesday and left messages with sales people, a floor manager and several members of the finance dept. Finally, Karen in finance called me back to say that our credit was in danger of dropping from Tier 1 to Tier 2 and if one more business checked our credit that it would most certainly drop and then we would be forced into a much higher APR. She then explained that we would need to buy the more expensive Pilot so we could use the rebate to cover the negative equity in our trade in. She spent a long time on the phone with me explaining all this and of course I thought she seemed very honest and helpful. Karen explained that at minimum we would be looking at a $600 monthly payment and that this was the only option for us to be approved. I believed her and when after 5 days she hadn't returned any of my phone calls I then spent the next 2 (!) weeks calling and speaking with a different person each time. Each person told me that they would call the bank the next day to try and get me approved and then call me back, never once did anyone follow through. To be honest after being told that if another person (dealer) checked our credit we would drop to Tier 2 I was so afraid that this was true (even though I knew we had Tier 1 plus credit only a few months earlier) that I kept trying to make this work. When I finally got Karen in finance on the phone she explained that the bank would only approve the purchase with a $720 monthly payment. I then said we'd be going somewhere else. I then went to Prime Toyota (who I can't recommend enough, ask for Charlene! Finally a female car salesperson!!! Russ the manager was great and so is Mac the head of Finance.) and then I found out I had fallen for one of the oldest dealer tricks in the book, lying to a customer about their credit so they don't go to another dealer. After they checked our credit at Prime we were told we were still Tier 1 plus. Honestly, being lied to repeatedly about one's credit is a terrible experience to go through and for certain those were not the only things I was lied to about. Additionally their prices are no lower than any other Honda dealer in the area. Beware! More
These people were rude, not nice and SO pushy. I decided I couldnt give my money or business to people I disliked so much. I bought my car at Prime Honda where I immediately liked everyone in the dealership I couldnt give my money or business to people I disliked so much. I bought my car at Prime Honda where I immediately liked everyone in the dealership, they are nice guys, so not pushy. They showed me the car and they asked what they needed to do to earn my business. Here is a letter I wrote to Boch Honda. Hello I am writing to let you know that I have purchased a Honda CRV (the EX L module with Navigation) from Prime Honda in Dedham/West Roxbury. To be perfectly honest with you, I really found my sales representative Tom Rybak extremely rude. I decided I would not give my business and my money to someone who treated me so poorly. I was in your dealership two times. The first time was on Saturday December 20th, you were the very first dealership I walked into. Of course, being my first trip in, I was at the beginning stages of a car search. Due to snowy weather conditions, Tom wasn't able to show me the Honda CRV. So since he couldnt show me the car, I asked him if he could give me pricing. At that point, he become extremely pushy and rude. First of all, I hadn't even SEEN the car so why in the world would I be ready to buy a car? He was practically yelling at me asking me if I had a check on me, or a credit card or cash to out down on a car. A car I hadn't even seen! I finally was able to leave and we left it that I would come back to look at the car. Due to snowy weather conditions, I wasn't able to get back to the dealership the following day. I got a very obnoxious phone call from Tom basically accusing me of giving him phony phone #s. He told me he called my work # and they had never heard of me and he started giggling in a weird way. I have worked at the same place for almost nine years, I can assure you, I gave Tom the correct phone #. What kind of a salesperson, would call a prospective customer and accuse them of giving a phony phone number? People buy from people they like. I work in sales and I never treat people the way Tom rudely treated me. I returned to the dealership again on Saturday December 27th. Tom was able to show me the car and I was able to take a test drive. After the test drive, Tom was back to being his rude, pushy self. He again was rudely asking me if I had a check or a credit card or me. I told him my father told me not to bring this stuff on purpose and Tom said I should stop listening to my father. At that exact point, I decided I would never buy a car from Tom Rybak or Boch Honda. What kind of a human being tells a young woman not to listen to her father. I have no respect for Tom Ryback, I think he is a mean person. I am very happy that I gave my business to Prime Honda. They were nothing but nice to me and not the least bit pushy. When I told my salesperson I needed to speak to my father first, do you know what he said? He said to me, of course you need to speak to your father, take your time and get back to us. They also asked what they needed to do to earn my business. I decided to give them my business. More
At first, I dare to go to Boch, based on their reviews here. I live in CT, and I quoted a lot of dealers for my Civic 09. The boch gave the cheapest price. (Bernardi tried to match them, but they chea here. I live in CT, and I quoted a lot of dealers for my Civic 09. The boch gave the cheapest price. (Bernardi tried to match them, but they cheated when I go to their dealership, they tried to add hidden fees, push me to use their financing, when I have cash in hand.) I waited several days, Keith from the internet department called me about the new 500 incentive from Honda. Once I go to their dealership, they even reduced 20 dollars from my internet quote, which is already a very good price. Another salesman, Lee, took me and my gf to 3 different lots to find the color we like, very friendly. No pressur, very comfortable. Financial manager Caryn is also very friendly and helpful. This is just my review on Boch. My suggestion is, before you going to some dealership and want to get a deal. Do some homework ahead, there are a lot of website, like edmunds, KBB, or just google. Good luck to everyone More
This past summer I brought my 1996 Honda Civic to Boch Honda because my air conditioning wasn't working and because I was due for an oil change. Also, my belts squeaked a little when I started the car. I Honda because my air conditioning wasn't working and because I was due for an oil change. Also, my belts squeaked a little when I started the car. I also had an SRS light on my dashboard which came on after a jump that I had gotten earlier that year. I brought all these issues to their attention and they said they would look at it. (Mind you, the summer beforehand the air conditioning also broke and they "fixed it" then too, only to have it break the next summer.) While working on my car they said that it would cost over $1000 to turn off the SRS light. They also said they fixed the belts, and needed to order a $800 part to fix the air conditioning (again, supposedly fixed the summer before). They also said my brake drums needed replacing or my car would fail its annual inspection. They also said that the light absolutely had to be turned off or else the car would fail inspection. I took my car at that point (without the oil change being done.) I took my car to National Tire and Battery to have them look at the brakes. They said nothing was wrong with the break drums. I brought my car to get inspected, and it passed inspection, light on and everything. Recently, my car had trouble starting, so I brought it to a mechanic who said the belts needed to be fixed. Wait a minute, didn't Boch Honda fix the belts a couple months ago? The mechanic also managed to turn off the SRS light for free. We will never go back to Boch Honda. More
