Mr. De Silva was an outstanding service consultant. He presented himself in a very professional manner. He explained every step of the service process in a concise and easy to understand way as to why th presented himself in a very professional manner. Sean DeSilva was informative and explained the maintenance that my CRV needed before it went in to the mechanic. He told me the price of each service that needed to be done. Sean went over my bill with me and there were no surpises. Everything was just as he said it would be. He is a friendly and enthusiastic young man and a credit to the dealership. My car was serviced in less time than I had estimated that it would take.I will continue to bring my car to Norwood to be serviced even though I live about 30 miles away. More
Today I had a good experience getting my car serviced at Boch Honda, and service representative Sean DeSilva was a big reason why. I have probably had my car serviced there about 10 times. I have never had an issue with quality of work done there, but one problem that I have had at least 4 times is service representatives attempting to sell me services I do not need. This wastes my time, and it erodes my trust in the dealership's service department when I feel like the service reps are more concerned about sales than customer service (I would be very curious to see how Boch Honda incentivizes its service representatives and see if there is a link to this behavior) On one occasion, I was so irritated by my experience, I took my car to Jiffy Lube for my car's next oil change (in fairness to Boch Honda, Jiffy Lube also has issues with trying to sell customers unecessary service). I have interacted with Sean DeSilva a few times now, and each time has been a positive experience for me. Sean makes me feel like a valued customer. His attitude and behavior show me that his goal is to make sure my car is running well and that I bring my car back to Boch Honda every time I need service. Other service representatives have made me feel like their primary goal was to maximize the amount of service revenue that came out of my wallet during that particular visit. I will keep brining my Honda to Boch Honda for service because of Sean. More
We had a VERY unique situation to deal with in buying our new 2010 CRV. We were stationed overseas in the military so I was able to work with John McMahan online ahead of time to get our information and pric new 2010 CRV. We were stationed overseas in the military so I was able to work with John McMahan online ahead of time to get our information and price on the vehicle we were looking for. John was incredibly helpful, friendly, and took the time to actually get to know us as customers which was something that many of the other dealerships that we had been in talks with before we made our decision lacked (and he sent real emails not those annoying generic ones which just insert your name). I very much enjoyed the initial online car purchasing process with him- he was knowledgeable, respectful and because of him I felt confident in deciding to go with Boch in making our vehicle purchase. We were able to make our purchase official over Skype and with a Power of Attorney which was handled by our salesman Rik Turner and Bob Signore in Finance who was very helpful with the POA issues and informed us of all of our additional options but didn't make us feel pressured into any extras that we didn't want. He also informed us that our credit was great (which we knew) but rest assured there is no funny business or false credit info told to you at Boch Honda! But the best part of all about our purchase was not the brand new car (although the car is great and everything we wanted!!), but my experience the day of the delivery with Rik Turner. My husband just deployed to Iraq and I just returned to the states to pick up the car and we were registering the car out of state in NH. To make an incredibly long story shorter: unbeknownst to us, because of my husband's active duty military status we ended up having to go to multiple DMV's in NH and make many phone calls involving misinformation that the DMV had provided to me about the process. (If only the NH DMV was as efficient as Boch was!!) What should have taken at most 1 hour to register the car ended up taking about 8 hours. I couldn't have imagined a more chaotic day because of the unexpected military registration issues- but outside of my family, I couldn't have imagined a better person to spend it with! Rik was so gracious and understanding during the entire thing, he also stopped to get me food when I was starving, and brought me to the bank as well when the final DMV we had to go to would only take cash (which was almost 3 hrs. away from Boch). Rik was SO helpful with everything that day and was great emotional support as well when things were getting crazy! With all the driving back and forth we had to do I had a great time and we had great conversation- it was like spending the day with a great friend! I felt so bad that he missed most all of his work day because of the misinformation I got from the NH DMV, but he told me not to worry that he would do whatever he had to do and he stayed with me the entire time it took to take care of it so I could pick up the car at back Boch that same day (being military we don't have a physical NH address so we couldn't take delivery by traditional drop off.) He didn't have to do to do it all in one day since it went so long, but he chose to and we are so appreciative for him for his time (time is money and I don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that he would be losing out on money by being with me for 8 hrs. during what was supposed to be a simple out of state NH registration.) I couldn't recommend Rik more, he was just so great in every way, and I am so happy he was there with me during the entire process. On top of that, I had a long drive from the dealership up to Maine to stay with family and he called to make sure everything was ok after the long drive and wanted to make sure we were happy with the car. We couldn't have been happier with him, I am so lucky he was our salesman, and my husband who is off to Iraq was very amazed to hear how great he was with everything that happened. In closing I would say that it was because of John McMahan that I ended up choosing to buy with Boch (he was so nice to deal with and gave us a great price as well of course!!), but it is because of Rik Turner that we will buy our future cars with Boch. Rik left a lasting impression on us that our family won't forget, I have been telling anyone who will listen how great he was! Definitely ask for him if you are in the market for a great car as well as a great person to deal with in buying your car!! I still can't thank him enough for all of his help that day! Boch Honda was second dealer on my list since it is not the closest to my house. The experience with the other dealership was not bad, but I felt I didn’t get the service that I was looking for. The salesman at other place didn’t explain most of the features of the car I was interesting in and they didn’t have the color I want so they were trying to push what they had. When I came to Boch Honda I met with Luda. She made the buying process very comfortable. Luda knew that I already went to other place but she still took the time to review every feature and took me on the test drive. The finance manager took the time to review the various options I had for financing, thoroughly explaining anything that was confusing. The entire experience was very pleasant. More
John was more than patient with me during my first car buying experience and did everything possible to make sure I walked out the door a happy customer.
