No appointment for oil and filter change, and now it opens on Saturdays. When GM had some tough time a little awhile ago, I was so worried this dealer could be closed, but apparently it didn’t happen, I guess it might be the dealer has higher satisfactions from customers and reputations. Way to go, Lannan Chevy Woburn and keep it up! More
Took care of our warranty issue quickly and without question. We got a call the next morning that our car was ready to pickup, with the bad weather we were having the dealer was flexible about pickup question. I arrived at dealership at 0730 am without an appointment for replacement of driver's side headlight. I was checked in promply by the service dept, had free coffee while I waited, and repair was completed a for replacement of driver's side headlight. Got a rim replaced here after my wife hit a curb. The technician never did an alignment, and now a few months later the tire is completely worn on the outside of the tire (indicating it is out of alignme technician never did an alignment, and now a few months later the tire is completely worn on the outside of the tire (indicating it is out of alignment). All other tires are showing little to no wear. Called the service manager, and he refused to take responsibility. At first he said that an alignment was probably recommended, but was declined. After checking the notes, and pulling up the invoice, he said that they probably just drove the car and determined that an alignment just wasn't needed. When I mentioned that it seemed odd that they wouldn't do an alignment when the whole reason the car was brought in was due to wheel damage, he said that sometimes an alignment wasn't necessary. He proceeded to recant a story of a lady with a corvette who ran into a huge pothole and had to get both rims on the right side of the car replaced. He said they did an alignment, and it turned out that the alignment was fine. Kind of odd that his counter-story involved doing an alignment REGARDLESS of whether the car pulled in a direction when driven. After going back and forth for a while, he finally said outright "You've requested assistance, and your request has been rejected." I will certainly never be purchasing another vehicle from Lannan, and I will definitely not be going there for service ever again. More
The service I received at Lannan Chevrolet was outstanding. My warranty had expired 6 months ago,yet they were able to get me a waiver from General Motors. The function of my power steering was gi outstanding. My warranty had expired 6 months ago,yet they were able to get me a waiver from General Motors. The function of my power steering was giving me a problem.Also, the crankshaft seal,front axle seal and transmission cooler lines needed to be replaced.Through the diligent effort of Joe Ascolese and Mark O'Malley,they were able to get the cost greatly reduced.For this I owe a sincere gratitude. More
