The salesman, Travis Hayward, was knowledgeable and extremely responsive. We felt that he was there to help us make a good decision and to not push a sale on us. This approach helped us to relax and encouraged us to do business with this dealership, even though they were not the closest dealership to our home. An overall great experience. More

This place went from what I thought was going to be a great experience, to a complete and total train wreck. Let me start by saying I was in the market for a new Silverado. I was recommended to a salesman at Clay (I will not name names) and was expecting good things. When I first went up to Clay, things were what appeared to be in good working order. The sales guy was solid and what appeared to be stand up at the time. They took me for a test drive, numbers were discussed, and we came to what we thought to be an agreement. I left Clay that day feeling good. I called back with information and placed a down payment on the Silverado I test drove. This was a Demo truck, and I thought I was getting a good deal based on the circumstances. I put a down payment down on the numbers the dealership and I agreed with. At this point, this truck was suppose to be mine within a few days and some fine tuning. This is where things turned into an experience that left me with a permanent bad taste in my mouth. The salesman was following up with me fairly regularly until a new buyer came along. A family member stopped by to look at the truck I placed a down payment on, and it was on a test drive. Yes, the truck I placed my name on was on a test drive. I'm convinced that the salesman found a new buyer, and called me back that night upping my monthly payments by over $200 a month knowing this would back me out. Just like the salesman hoped for, I withdrew my name. He happily replied "Alright man I'll cancel you out for good, take care!!!". Three days later, I'm fighting to get my down payment back. The dealership is being uncooperative during this process. When its said and done, I hope the dealer made some money off their new sale. They played games, wasted my time, and most of all treated me as if I was of lesser value. If I could leave this place 0 stars, I happily would. Thanks for wasting my time, and especially thanks for nothing. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. More

I had specifically asked if the part was in stock when I made the appointment and was told that it was. Since my car was already tied up for the day I asked them to check and repair another issue and to do the annual inspection that was due. I was dismayed when I was notified three hours later that the recall work was not done and that I have to wait more than a week for it to come in and then be without my car for another day. The people involved did not acknowledge their error or offer any apologies. More

All parties I have dealt with have been very professional and courteous. I feel like they all go "the extra mile" to make sure I am happy with my visits and the work that has been done on my vehicle. I want to especially comment on the the Service people who have been most helpful...........Arnie, Lisa, Jim and Dennis who I have dealt with for over the last 5 plus years. They represent the Clay organization very well.... they are always honest and extremely helpful and do their best to make sure I am happy with the service. . More
I was not satisfied with my deal to sell my 2010 Corvette The Sales team at Clay Chevrolet convinced me my 2010 Corvette was worth less than the Blue Book because it needed front wheel brake pads and was onl The Sales team at Clay Chevrolet convinced me my 2010 Corvette was worth less than the Blue Book because it needed front wheel brake pads and was only in Fair Condition. They were not honest in their dealings with me and played the numbers game. Also I should have road tested the Equinox I now am leasing on a highway because it lacks power when passing, trying to move onto traffic or climbing a steep hill. So I received $6350 less than what my Corvette is selling for because of statements made about this Corvette that were not true.ie replace front wheel brake pads will cost $2000.00 and now I am being told it needs $5500.00 for service which I seriously doubt. More
Ideal Experience From Start to Finish-True Professionalism I'll start off by noting I purchase or help people purchase about 5 cars each year. I interact with many dealerships and work a lot of deals. I've see I'll start off by noting I purchase or help people purchase about 5 cars each year. I interact with many dealerships and work a lot of deals. I've seen the best and I have seen the worst. The experience I had at Clay was picture perfect and all of the guys I worked with deserve praise. It started with a phone call to Tom McKinnon who priced everything out for me and was incredibly attentive. He gave me all of the information I needed to get me in the door the next day. While at the dealership, I worked with Sean Frazier mostly. I have never worked with a more attentive and patient salesperson in all my life. He was not phased by anything, welcomed questions, and made it feel like he was working for me rather than against me. Sean deserves accolades for this. Sean worked with Mike DiPoala and I had a chance to meet him as well. Mike is a great guy and he was very transparent with me which I greatly appreciated. These gentlemen all made me felt like they cared about a lifetime customer rather than one deal. That is what they will get out of me. Finally, the finance office can sometimes be a nightmare. I feel terrible that I forgot the man's name but he was fantastic. He made the process quick and easy and explained everything with full transparency. Overall, this is how an experience should go. These 4 guys did a terrific job and should be commended for it. I will be bringing them return business. Well done, everyone. More
