I have recently purchased a Certified pre-owned (used) Toyota from Northway Toyota Scion, because they had a good price and the car was in decent shape (despite scratches with dents & dings). They offered to touch up the scratches on the car and even though their sales manager said that he will have his auto body shop fix the scratches (making it sound like that they were not going to just use touch up paint, oh well). Other than that, I have had a good experience with them. I would also like to mention, that I have only heard good things about Northway Toyota Scion from my coworkers here in the capitol region. Their prices are lower than Lia's for maintenance/repairs, and their customer service is always friendly. They also seem to go out of their way to assist their customers or take care of problem. I also like their turnaround time on most of their car work. It seems like things are done quickly and with good workmanship from my own personal experience. Never had a problem with them so far. This was my first time leasing a vehicle and Lou was EXTREMELY patient. My father and I had many questions and required many explanations during this process. I was very impressed with how thorough Lou was during the test drive. He left no stone unturned in pointing out the basics of driving the vehicle as well as all of the safety features. My biggest concern in going from a 4X4 SUV to a Toyota Camry was, would it be safe enough for my husband, myself and my 7 month old daughter. I was amazed at how many reliable characteristics were presented in this vehicle and even more so, I was amazed at how knowledgeable Lou was about each of these safe attributes. Lou was not only knowledgeable, but had a great sense of humor and seemed to really understand my goal in buying a vehicle that day. His advice throughout the process seemed genuine and I greatly appreciated that. I have bought new vehicles 3x in 9 years. I have to say that Lou was inspirational (I know this sounds corny, but it is true) in his stance for the Toyota product. I have never had a sales person seem as invested in their product as Lou does. And for me, beyond price, that is a great selling point! Having said all of the above about Lou speaks volumes in my mind about the dealership itself. Everyone we encountered throughout the buying process was friendly and accommodating. Dealing with Mark Evers was a great experience. He was very down to earth and made us feel very relaxed. Providing a full tank of gas and giving us two remotes with keys (and a valet key) was a courteous very down to earth and made us feel very relaxed. I had been in the market of buying a "new" car for well over 8 months. In this period I had the pleasure to meet a large number of dealers and sales people. Northway Toyota was one of the 7 Toyota deal over 8 months. In this period I had the pleasure to meet a large number of dealers and sales people. Northway Toyota was one of the 7 Toyota dealerships I was dealing with and they are in a class of their own. It was by far, the best experience anyone could dream of from the first call to leaving with the car. Due to my very possitive interaction with Rudy, I drove 2 hrs to get to there to buy a car I had only seen pictures of. Secondly, I had never even driven a camry in my entire life. I picked Toyota as a brand mainly due to the low cost of ownership, comfort, safety, and the over all value. I looked at M.B., BMW, Subaru, Honda, VW, Audi, Acura, and Lexus. Friends of mine had bought mainly BMW's, so I got to drive the new X5, M5, and the 335xi. They where fun to drive for short periods but due the stiffness, after 2 hrs of driving I decided BMW was not for me and because after 30k miles I was also told they all experienced electrical problems. The following weekend for a ski trip( NYC to Killington VT), I rented a Subaru Legacy GT wagon which was not for me either; 22 mpg with no comfort what so ever I was beat after 4 hrs of driving hard. I would almost recommend the outback if it did not drive like a truck. M.B. E 350, very nice but cost of ownership is about 30% more then Toyota. I have had my SE Camry for almost a week and I drove it about 500 miles over the weekend and I can not be happier; 28 mpg with non-premium fuel, (that's with 3 passengers) great comfort, fast (V6 268hp), and very quiet, and everyone loved it. Thanks to Kevin, Jen, and Rudy at Northway Toyota I'm a very happy man with one xxxx of a car and most likely a costumer for life. Ps. This is the first time ever writing a review for anything.
