Broke my car and refused to even look at it I brought my Prius in for my 5000 miles service this morning before work. Afterwards, on my way to work I noticed a rattling noise in my car engine t I brought my Prius in for my 5000 miles service this morning before work. Afterwards, on my way to work I noticed a rattling noise in my car engine that never happened before. After work, I realized that it's worsening and louder when I accelerate. I called up the service center at Northway Toyota and explained my situation: my car had a routine service there in the morning and now there's a loud rattling sound, can I bring it in for a check up? The service guy told me that they were closing in a few minutes and can't help me. I told them that I'm suppose to drive 150 miles to see my parents for Easter Weekend, I'm only 10 minutes away and I'm not comfortable driving when every time I accelerate the rattling gets worse. The guy repeated told me "no," was unhelpful and unsympathetic. All I'm asking for is for someone to take 10 or 20 minutes to look at my engine and see if something is lose or left inside. I understand if it's a serious problem and takes hours or days to fix. But to spend 20 minutes to check out something they broke is not asking too much!!! Right now in in Firestone auto shop right up the road. The service guys here were absolutely baffled at my experience. They are kind enough to check my car out today. I have to pay for another inspection on top the crappiest inspection from Northway Toyota. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The lack of personal responsibility and sympathy towards their customers is shocking. I will never come back again. More
