Very unpleasant dealership! Don’t get robbed like me! This dealership is not any different from any other dealership out there. The only thing they care about is making the top dollar from you. Absolutely This dealership is not any different from any other dealership out there. The only thing they care about is making the top dollar from you. Absolutely no humanity in any of them. They will literally steal candy from babies. I bought a 2015 Range Rover from them and got completely robbed. The vehicle has so many problems that they just put makeup over so I couldn’t realize until the paperwork was signed. The charge about $4000 in dealership fees so if you think you will get the advertised price... you are mistaken! I will list my problems that they refuse to fix below for everyone: - No keys for the wheel locks - brake routers damaged with huge grooves in them - oil change never done - sounds coming from right side when turning (parking) - missing floor mats that I was promised (eventually gave me one from another car) - driver side seat broken (promised me it would be fixed) - gas won’t pump properly. Please don’t make the same mistake I made by trusting these guys. They will slit your throat with a smile on their faces! PS. I will be taking them to court More

Extremely Poor Customer Service E-mailed and asked for more information on a vehicle as I am out of state. Received a response 24 hours later asking when I could come in for a test E-mailed and asked for more information on a vehicle as I am out of state. Received a response 24 hours later asking when I could come in for a test drive. Again e-mailed explaining I am out of state and would like more information...…...no response after 24 hours. Called and explained I am an internet buyer and needed more information on a vehicle. Was told all the information Is listed on the website. Told the gentleman no, not all the info is listed. Response was only one manager had the info and was transferred to him. He answered and said he needed to call me back on his cell phone. One minute later a young lady called "on his behalf". Told her I needed information on a vehicle and am an out of state purchaser. Said she would need to research and follow up. 24 hours later and...………..crickets! I've purchased my last four vehicles via internet from out of state. It is possible and easy to do if the dealership has competent staff with appropriate follow up skills. Save yourself some time and aggravation and skip dealing with NorthStar Mitsubishi. More

Bad sales tactics I found a used car on truecar that I wanted. I inquired about the car through truecar's website. I recieved a call the following morning from a call c I found a used car on truecar that I wanted. I inquired about the car through truecar's website. I recieved a call the following morning from a call center to schedule a appointment. I called northstar to double check availability and price because I informed them I was 2 hours away. I arrive at the dealership, test drive the car then sat down to discuss numbers. As it unfortunately happens too often this is were it all went south. No one appreciates being lied too nor treated like this is their first time buying a car. First thing they say is that true cars price was after $2500 down, so the price just went up $2500. When I explained how silly that sounded and told him I had the true car certificate in my email he said he will check with his manager. Salesman comes back and sais they will honor the online price but I have to buy a aftermarket powertrain warranty for $2500. I explained I had no interest in a warranty, he goes back to his manager and returned to say it was already in place so I had no choice. I explained to him I did not appreciate being lied too and that I was pretty sure a aftermarket warranty with multiple packages would have to be purchased by the customer not set up pre purchase by the dealer. Either case I wasted 4 hours of driving because they could not be honest and transparent. More

I scoured the inte I am sorry that there is not an option for "0" stars! Yesterday I decided to go look for a new used car. I wanted a Toyota Rav4. I scoured the internet and found an incredible deal for a 2015 Rav4 for $13,906. I called the dealership, made an appointment and googled the dealership to check the reviews. They were all stellar. My bad, I didn't check Yelp until just now. I read glowing reviews of how awesome NorthStar Mitsubishi was. When I called to make the appointment I was told that there was an employee discount promotion going on and that everyone would be offered. I asked for clarification. I said "[s]o you mean that the price of $13,906 that is advertised will be discounted?" The guy on the phone assured me that yes that was the case (hint/hint - too good to be true). I looked fast and furiously for the title to my old car which I wanted to trade in. I was soooo excited! I thought in a few hours I will be sitting in a new-used Toyota Rav4. I jumped in my car and drove almost 4 hours to get to Long Island City to see the car. When I arrived at the used car lot I was met by a lovely! saleswoman who showed me the car and take it on a test drive. When I pulled into the lot I saw the car sitting there with a price tag on the window (almost $18,000). I thought that this must have been a typo. Another customer came in and was waiting to see a car. I asked him if he had experience with the dealership. He said no, he just happened to be driving by. I told him that I have been the victim of other predatory car salesmen so I did my homework before coming. I took my cell phone and showed him the stellar reviews for NorthStar Mitsubishi I had found on line. He said "[w[ow! That's good to know!" I then waited for the manager (closer) guy to show up to make the deal. The closer guy showed and asked me what price I saw on the internet. I told him the price that I saw and that I was interested in the employee discount that was being offered. He didn't seem to know what I was talking about. He went in the back, another man arrived and they went in the back and stayed there a long time. I realized that I had been bamboozled and left. I was angry that I had been mislead. Later I called the dealership and complained. The man who went to confer with his manager got on the phone and said they were compiling my final price, including taxes, insurance and fees. He said "[y]ou can have the car walk out the door for $18,000!" I was flabbergasted!!! I asked him how could a $13,906 car turn into $18,000. He said they were only going to give me $100.00 for my car. I said okay, but where did the other 4 grand come from? He said the extended warranty of $2,500 increased the price. I told him I didn't want the extended warranty. He said I had to take it. I asked him why did I have to pay $2,500 for the warranty? He said "[w]e put a lot of money into fixing up that car, we did the brakes, we did a tuneup, and we have to get our money back!" I was thinking I was bamboozled by these people! I told the guy that the only reason that I came to their dealership was of their excellent reputation and stellar reviews and that I was shocked at how deceptive they were. I hung up the phone. I sent a message through their chat system and a woman said she would forward my message on the appropriate people. I spoke with someone today and told them that they should make good on their advertising and not engage in deceptive advertising practices. He said he would get back to me. I then talked with a friend who said "[d]o you really want to buy a car from a dealership that is that dishonest?" Case in point -- as they say on Shark Tank "I'm out". My above review is based on my experience yesterday. But, do yourself a favor, if you talk on the phone with these people record the conversation to prove what they are doing. It's sad they don't seem to realize that if they are honest and give people a fair deal, people's friends, will tell their friends, who will tell their friends and they will have too much business to handle. But, if you attempt to hoodwink and bamboozle people, they won't come back and will tell their friends not to do so either. More
