A reman Alternator cost $1,100. The service and people are wonderful but the price is crazy. I will probably not return and that is regrettable because I have always had a great experience there but I rea are wonderful but the price is crazy. I called the service department. I explained the situation. The first day I called the customer service representative told me not to worry, the lights would turn off by themselves (engine and skid situation. That I had not put the gas cap on correctly while filling up. I believed that until the next day when the lights were still on. I called again and this time this representative told me she would have someone call me back. Dean called me back and asked if I could bring the car in and they would look at it. Kyle took over once I was at the dealership and asked if I could wait for it. Dorothy took over and explained the situation. She had obtained a loaner for me. She called me that night and told me what was going on and hopefully I would have my car back the next day. I was kept informed when the mechanics wanted to keep the car longer. When I did finally get called by Dorothy to come any time and that my car was ready, everyone was so nice and my car was washed. This service department is the reason my next cars will be Lexus cars! When you go to Northside Lexus, you get total service. Of course the car is given a thorough going-over, but that is not what I mean. I take that for granted or they would not be in business. What I am talking about is the complete package from the time you call or go online to set up an appointment to the way each employee treats you. They are more than friendly, they are professional to the max. This extends from the receptionist to the driveway greeter, to the service consultant, the service technician, and the check-out counter folks. You get the complete package. It is obvious that they are happy in their jobs and it comes through in performance. I get the impression that they really care about my car and are dedicated to ensuring that I am happy with it as well. The service people know intuitively that the next time I feel the need for a new car, my choice of dealer will be largely based on my impressions gained over time with my current vehicle. I have been to other Houston Lexus dealerships but none of them comes up to the level of the folks at Northside. More
