Northside Ford - Service Center

$80 lightbulb I took my truck in for a service recall from Ford and they did fix that item sufficiently. I asked them could they also change my taillight bulb whil I took my truck in for a service recall from Ford and they did fix that item sufficiently. I asked them could they also change my taillight bulb while I had my truck in. They said, sure. When I picked it up they charge me $88 to put the lightbulb in which probably took him five minutes. I had my sons truck in for some Work at a different shop, and he also had a bulb out. They charged him $22 -still expensive, but maybe more reasonable. I figured their shop rate at about 960 bucks an hour for my lightbulb (Less the cost of the bulb of course). I learn my lesson About dealerships! More

Using a coupon The Works for a oil change at 19.99 is not re I ve use the Northside Ford coupon The Works Oil change for $19.99 up to 5 quarts, but they fail to tell you, its recommend 6 quarts, but I have a 201 I ve use the Northside Ford coupon The Works Oil change for $19.99 up to 5 quarts, but they fail to tell you, its recommend 6 quarts, but I have a 2018 Ford Edge and it states 5.5 quarts for oil, I ve told the service guy, why don't they tell me up front, if they are going to use more oil, before doing the job and advise me of the cost will be more, his answer he didn't know the answer, its up to the sevice tech, Wow trying to get more money out of me without informing that you need to add extra quart and the price of the coupon will increase, I don't like it at all, let the customer know up front, before you do the work and cost of a oil change, so he just charge me the price of the coupon, the on my receipt its showing I received estimate cost, that's a lie, becareful when you use the coupon for a oil change at 19.99, it will be more and they want tell you after the job is done More

Recalls I took our F150 in for a recall. Gary was not in so another service writer stepped in and took care of me. They provided a ride back to my office. Wit I took our F150 in for a recall. Gary was not in so another service writer stepped in and took care of me. They provided a ride back to my office. Within a few hours Gary called and my truck was ready. So I took one of our fleet F150‘s on a Saturday with a different recall, and Gary jumped on it and it was ready Monday! Gary even called me Saturday afternoon with a status report. Northside ford was able to get me in the same day I called to schedule. All the staff were friendly and helpful and they even gave me a ride home, so I wouldn’t have to wait at the dealership all day. The service was completed on time with their estimate, extremely satisfied, will be coming back for my ford needs again, thank you! More
