To Who it may concern I took my Jeep in to Northland Chrysler jeep dodge for service December 29 stating I heard a ticking noise in the engine I was told it was my rocker arms and my crankshaft upon fur Chrysler jeep dodge for service December 29 stating I heard a ticking noise in the engine I was told it was my rocker arms and my crankshaft upon further investigation I found it there was a common problem with that engine with the rock arms and if not addressed soon enough it would mess with the Kranks chef mind you I have a Mopar extended warranty so I said fix it with a $200 deductible fine no problem they fix it and have it back to me in less than two days fantastic I get home two days later i notice it’s leaking oil in my driveway never had any oil leaks for the length of the vehicle five-year-old vehicle Jeep Grand Cherokee so I called dealership I say bring it back I take it back a day later I talked to the service agent Who knows me from me doing business regularly with them he tell me they check it out is the oil housing which sits right between the roc arms and the crankshaft they fix it they tell me another $200 deductible I said while I haven’t had any more problems before with oil leaking this is a new case OK so upon checking with other dealerships one in Michigan one in Florida they both tell that’s a known issue when you have been working around him crankshaft and rock alarms also check with Mopar’s extended warranty where you don’t have to pay the deductible if there’s a part failure or poor workmanship i’ll go back to the service agent he tells me he tried to asked to waive it since it’s been less than a week then the service manager tells me he tried to talk to Mopar Warranty and they denied it I go to the general manager of Northland Chrysler Dodge he tell me if the service manager willing to waive it no problem Service manager once again tells me is Mopar Warranty I’m paying Mopar warranty tell me no the moneys going to Northland Chrysler Dodge they had their money so long story there should’ve never been another case here I been patronizing this dealership for five years the only black owned dealership in Michigan nothing but raving reviews and this is how I get treated so I had to pay the additional $200 plus they change my oil and put conventional mean I put synthetic blend in my car from the first day I purchased it so I had to pay additional $45 oil change so no I’m a little disappointed with Service this time More
