We worked with Mike Gerrein at Northgate Ford. I have purchased many Ford products. Mike is by far the best vehicle sales person I have seen. We was extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful. If you own a Ford, stay away from Northgate Ford service department. The techs may be certified, but not sure in what. Had an issues with water on passenger side floor, they were not able to fix in 3 atte department. The techs may be certified, but not sure in what. Went to an outside mech and was fixed within a day. Simply the amount of $ spent was ridiculous... I have been a ford owner for over 20 years, this experience alone has swayed me to leave the brand. I have been a customer of Northgate Ford since 1985. During that time I have purchased over numerous new vehicles from this dealership. They range from passenger cars to SUV's to F series trucks. I have also had those vehicles serviced and repaired by Northgate Ford. I recently had a safety repair issue that required immediate attention. I did not have an appointment and was initially told I would need to make one for another day. Service Advisor Mikal Crist immediately recognized my concern and took the initiative to insure my vehicle was repaired that day. He was courteous, professional, friendly, and focused on insuring my issue was resolved to my satisfaction. Unfortunately, another safety issue caused me to return a couple of days later for follow-up service. Mr. Crist again took action to help me. He was joined by Service Manager Doug Sears who took a personal interest in making sure my problem was resolved without delay. He provided me with a loaner vehicle since they had to keep my vehicle. A couple of days later my vehicle was ready. Mr. Crist, once again rose to the occasion to insure that the high standards of customer service I came to expect from Ford in general, and Northgate Ford in particular, were met. OUTSTANDING JOB!! Mr. Crist and Mr. Sears represented Ford in a commendable manner. I will continue to recommend Northgate Ford to friends, family, and to anyone looking for outstanding values and unmatched service. I never write negative reviews but there is always a first so here I go. We called Ford CS was told there is a part that needs to be replaced , received a letter and a case number . The letter states it will take a day which is no problem. The problem is, no one knew what they were doing . We gave the letter to be looked at like we had a dick on our forehead. You call the service department only to go to voicemail and no one call you back . I was told the last time I called that Cody said I could just come in because basically he had no time to call me back so this is what I did (sorry to interrupt your lunch Cody). We took the car back and will NEVER buy another FORD again due to this awful customer service even though we have the “A” plan. We are going to trade this 2016 hunk of junk we bought brand new for a Honda . We will never be back Northgate Ford and I will let everyone who works at Ford not to buy from Northgate due to an awful service department. Please have someone answer your phone in service so we don’t have to get a salesperson to track someone down to call and learn to communicate as it’s important. I don’t feel like not calling someone back after 5 hours is acceptable. More
My car lost power steering and it was towed into the dealership. Cody called and told me what the issue was and parts were ordered. Where is my car? I dropped my car off for an oil change and tire rotation on Friday morning at 8am. I let them know I didn't need the car right away, and I would be fine picking it up that afternoon after 5pm. The expectation was the service would be completed the same day - this is what I was told. Around 4pm, I got a call letting me know they also recommended replacing the engine air filter which would cost a bit more than the amount I was originally quoted. I told them I was fine with this and they let me know they would finish up with the car soon. I didn't hear anything, so I called and left a message asking for an update. It's now Saturday at 1pm and I have yet to hear anything. The service center is apparently only open on Saturdays from 8am to 1pm, and closed on Sundays, though I suspect they are now actually closed entirely on weekends due to COVID. I'm sympathetic to the difficulties in operating a business during this time. I also understand that unexpected things come up. What I truly don't understand is why nobody was able to inform me I would be without a car for at least 72 hours. No, I would not recommend coming here. More

This dealership sucks it’s the absolute worst possible stay away from them they are liars . Selling cars that they say are serviced but they aren’t and then they can’t fix any issues that arrise after the stay away from them they are liars . The front rotors are grooved badly and also the oil was over due when I bought it . The engine revs up and down I have had it back to them 2 times to be fixed and they can’t fix it so I will find another ford dealer that appreciates my business. The service advisor Megan would not speak to us on the phone and when we got there to pick the vehicle up we was speaking with her and she kept asking us was we sure we dropped our vehicle off there we kept saying yes sure did keep in mind she was the service advisor of this same job and finally after 30 minutes of arguing with them they found it and sanity this time a technician came up to Megan and said hey a customer is on line whatever and wants to talk to you she looked at him and said I am not taking calls I have told you so I’ll pick it up and hang up on them I can’t deal with stupid customers any more . Ok well if she don’t like her job then she should get a new one because it’s important to not only make sure the vehicle is done properly and you should contact customers also which the job is not fixed now did we get any calls from her and if we didn’t call daily we would t have even known the car was done I would highly recommend everyone looking to purchase a vehicle to stay away from there no one and I mean no one there knows what they are doing . The whole place is a disaster please trust this review and stay away I do not do reviews ever and this is my first only trying to help people not have bad issues is all thanks I will say that Vance Burris the sales man I had was excelllemt he was the best one I ever had More
