She was happy to accomodate my chaotic schedule, and took special efforts post-sale to insure all quality control measures had been taken. She even discovered a problem with the windshield I had missed and got a new windshield installed quickly. My general experience with the dealership (including service of a Routan and a Golf) has been exemplary. My only complaint is with the time taken and methods used by the Finance Dept (not Amber) to offer maintenance services during the contract phase of the GTI purchase. More

I called and spoke to a salesperson to confirm that it was still there and when we told them that we couldn't make it until the next day they assured us that if it became unavailable they would let us know to save us a trip. When we arrived we were greeted at the door by a very friendly sales team. We dealt with Jason Leclair who made sure we had every opportunity to check out the car and answered all our questions. When we came to pick up the car it was clean and ready to go as promised. Jason was quick and officiant and Johnathan in the finance dept was very understanding of our needs, never tried to sell us anything we were not interested in. It was a positive experience with some snags along the way. In the end Melanie Zoelck emerged as the most competent person I have dealt with in my 3 years as a customer of this VW dealership. Not only did she help me process the buyback, she actually also sold me my new car, even though she is not a salesperson! But she seems to know everything there is to know, and when she doesn't, she knows what questions to ask and where to direct them. Melanie did not waste a single minute of my time, and treated me with straightforward respect. It was a very easy transaction, and I loved it when Melanie walked me through the details of the car. She knew how every little thing worked and she seemed to be enjoying showing off the car. I got the sense that she really believes in the brand and in the product and that gave me an extra boost and confidence in my purchase. I also had a nice experience with Myron Callender and with Eric (last name?) The person who processed my loan was A-OK as well. I will not mention a couple of other people whose hard-sale style I did not need. They should take a page from Melanie's book.
