They gave me a spot for the next day and was able to get my car in for an oil change no problem. About halfway through the oil change they tell me my brakes are bad and I need new brakes/rotors (front and back) for the bargain price of $950. This baffled me. I said I would reschedule and they urged me to get it done ASAP and would schedule it themselves. I'm no car mechanic, which is why I bring it to a place to do the honest work for me. Apparently North Shore Mazda was incapable of any human decency. So I got a second opinion. I took an entire day off work to get this done because it was urgently needed. I take it to another place (Creonte Tire) which scheduled me no problem to get it checked out with a quote for around $600, which I thought was actually the more reasonable price. They get my car in and put it up on the lift and the mechanic there said that I didn't really need brakes. I was shocked. What? Why not? Well the kind gentlemen showed me my car and how the brakes should look and that I had plenty of tread left. Explained to me some things and told me I had 4 good brakes and rotors (the front were more than halfway worn and the rotors a little rusted). I asked them to kindly do the front brakes/rotors which was around $300. I was seething at the thought of North Shore Mazda actually trying to charge me $950 for brakes that didn't even need to get replace! Imagine my shock which I was shown how my brakes were still perfectly fine, when less than a week ago North Shore Mazda URGED me to get them replaced. I can't describe how angry I was. I know its a business and I know that's how car dealerships make money, but to lie and try to make me pay that much money for a job that doesn't need to be done and that can be done for $300-$400 is despicable. Absolutely despicable. I'm not a raving lunatic and I am not a fool. Please take this review seriously. IF you take your car to a dealership (any dealership, Honda, Subaru, etc), ALWAYS get a second opinion. I just saved myself $600 because I knew that price wasn't right. I wish I could give them negative stars for the work time I had to take off for the oil change and the brake job that didn't need to get done that I now have to make up, for lying and trying to rob me. I hope you take this review seriously and take your car ANYWHERE but here. Always be wary when taking to a dealership. Always ask questions and get a second opinion. More

He was so accommodating from the second I walked into the door the moment I received my keys in my hands. He did everything he said he would do in a timely fashion. I wish I found this type of service earlier in search but I know where to go next time! I was beyond Happy with the service Andrew provided. Duarte I went to North Shore Mazda with the intention to fix a few parts on my Mazda 3. After being told the cost of the repairs, I felt discouraged. Duarte Bettencourt approached me to inquire my reasoning for being there that day. After explaining my situation, the cost quoted for the repairs, and the fact that I have been a Mazda customer for 7 years, Duarte felt confident that he could help me. Because of Duarte, I ended up trading in a car that I initially came in to fix, for a new 2014 Mazda 3, for just $10 more than what i was currently paying per month. I would recommend Duarte to any of my friends because of his helpfulness and ability to cut to the chase to offer me the best possible deal. More

I really had very unfortunate experience with Ira Mazda service department last time -and I guess it was the last time I came there for any kind of service. 07/24/10 I had an appointment for oil changing, service department last time -and I guess it was the last time I came there for any kind of service. 07/24/10 I had an appointment for oil changing, 30K miles service and State Inspection for my 2007 Mazda 3. Mechanic found the front brakes rotors 1 mm and suggested to replace them, what shocked me instantly - 3 month ago, 04/24/10, the same mechanic performed the brakes inspection and found them all 5 mm according to the report. Is it really possible to get brakes from 5mm to 1mm in 3 months??!! Which the report can I trust? Also, yesterday 8/4/10 I got stopped by Police about my EXPIRED STATE INSPECTION STICKER (It was July 2010). You can imagine how surprised I was to see old 2010 sticker on my car… The good thing - I had the service invoice in the car with me, so I checked it and found that I actually was charged for the State Inspection but it was never performed this day 7/24/10. I had to come there at 7 am and get it finally done. Maria Gaft More
With only 20,000 miles on my 2008 M3 (which I bought Jan 09), my power steering. went. Mazda had the car for 6 days and gave me a free rental. I had my car back for only 4 days, when my AC stopped working. I called the GM to let him know that this was unacceptable for a new car, and I felt like I was driving a lemon... with 5 years left to pay off the car.... yet, only 1 1/2 years left on the warranty. Gary immediately recommended that we change the situation, and told me about the fabulous lease deal that Mazda was running, and it happened to be the last day of the month - June30. He convinced me to trade in the 2008, and get into a 2010 for 3 years, always covered by the warranty, and when that's up, choose a new lease. I was a lease customer with Honda in the past, and given the deal with rebates and $$ off for Mazda customers, I couldn't pass this up. Kal took over and worked with me through the sale. A.J. was as friendly and helpful as always. I was already partial to A.J. and Gary, as they took such good care of me in Jan 09... now, Kal has joined the elite force. These 3 guys deserve a raise :) More
My wife and I originally showed up to get our Mazda3 serviced and test drive a Mazda5. We were planning to buy soon, just not right away. Al worked with us 100% to get us into the car we wanted for the deal we wanted. Thankfully he showed us the perils of the lighter colored interior, knowing we have a dog and a little one on the way. This is our 3rd car from Ira Mazda, and sure to not be our last! More
