We totalled our vehicle we were in desperate need of a purchase. After shopping Liberty of Reading, we decided to head up to IRA of Danvers to see what they had. We arrived around 8:30 and they close at 9, so we thought there was no way we were going to make a purchase that night. Scott in sales came out and helped us... We were thinking that we would have to purchase a used vehicle on our budget but Scott explained that sometimes its cheaper to purchase a new vehicle and showed us a few. We fell in love with the hatchback that he showed us and walked inside (9:15)... They nailed our budget right on the nail and stayed until 10:30 to get the papers signed to make sure we were good to go the next day. The only speed bumb we hit on the way to picking up the car was with the insurance but Scott was very helpful in making sure the correct documents were sent. The next day, which happend to be Scotts day off, we were set to pick up the car but couldnt get there until 8:45 again. Scott stayed and waited for us on his day off to make sure we drove away in the vehicle that night. Superb job by the team at IRA and I would highly recommend stopping in if you are shopping for a Mazda and asking for Scott. More
Purchasing vehicles can be very stressful. I knew what I wanted and how much I could afford. I had researched the car on-line and I new pretty much what I wanted. The Salespersons I worked with listened to me, worked with me, understood my needs and it was an extremely stress-free purchase. I found the showroom to be very pleasant and they gave me a tour of the facilities . The purchase procedure was much less of a hassle than I have previously experienced at other dealerships. Everyone I dealt with was professional and courteous. The most important aspect of my experience with Ira Mazda was that I was not pressured to make a decision quickly or to purchase anything I did not want. I will definitely recommend Ira Mazda to my friends and family. More

If you give him a call on his cell phone, he would drive miles for you or any other customer. Even when Al was with other customers, he set up times to talk to me, and the other sales staff spent time giving me further knowledge without being asked to do so. Ira Mazda works as a true team and the environment is second to none in comfort. When I went from Mazda to 3 other dealerships, they just did not give me the same level of comfort as Al did. I looked at other cars and they were nice, but when Al was explaining what he knew about the car I just felt like this was the car for me. The guy never takes off from work. He is there early in the morning until late at night and will rush back from any break that he has if he gets a phone call from anyone. He understood when I wanted to hear information, and when I wanted space to look for myself and test things out. Most importantly, he treated my father and me as equals and spoke to us as friends and adults rather than being condescending and trying to push a sale. Buy from Ira Mazda (beautiful, reliable cars) and buy from Al, he is the best. More
My husband and I went out shopping for a new car its been 10yrs since a purchase and expected the worst. Since we had bad luck at the previous dealership who didn't give us honest answers. Kal was friendly, professional, and straightforward I give 10stars. The staff we dealt with was professional and courteous. We had a great experience and would definately recommend IRA, salesman, Kal was fantastic: He was able to not only meet our target price-- they gave us a deal we could not refuse. I walked in expecting the stereotypical "slimy car salesmen" type of people, but was met by a very friendly staff who made my first new car buying experience great. Dropped by today to make an appointment for my CX-9GT & was tol April 28, 2009: How can I make a big fuss over the excellent service at Ira Mazda? Dropped by today to make an appointment for my CX-9GT & was told to take a seat; less than an hour later the new CD/GPS was installed & the FM/AM reprogrammed!! Amazing. I know business is a bit slow right now but all the folks at this dealership are first class...every time I've needed anything......sales/service/parts....including the Manager in the front office. Short story: When I bought the CX-9GT, I traded in an Explorer. A few days after the deal was signed & processed, I came back & asked for the Explorer back, for my son's family who suddenly needed it. The initial response was that the paperwork had run through corporate & it was unavailable. But there was a pause. The Manager & Finance chap put their heads together, sold it back to me for trade-in price, plus MA sales tax (no problem), & my son picked it up the next day. Extraordinary customer focus for any business. At least pass this on to David Rosenberg....& his father, if possible...& Group 1. May 11, 2009: Hi all, Holy Smoke! My mother never took such care of me! United Radio in East Syracuse appears to be the business location that received my dead CD changer. It also appears that they found 6 CDs in the changer. It further appears they sent them back to Ira Mazda. And then from Ira Mazda to me, today, each inserted individually in a plastic bag. Thanks to all, again, & again. George More
This is the first review I've ever done in my life, but I feel like they deserve it. Ira Mazda was the second dealership we went to and ended up leasing a car there within 3 days. We had a great experience and would definately recommend at least stopping in to see what they have to offer and eventually buying from them. I know I'll be back there in the future! More
I loath car dealers, furniture salesman and anybody on commision giving me the hard sell. I try my best to be honest/sincere and expect the same from people I am buying things from. I have not bought a car in 12yrs and expected the worst(pushy salespeople who don't give me honest answers and try to tack fees on the back end when it comes time to sign). That's exactly what I got from everyone else in MA except Emilio and Chris at IRA Mazda. They beat all competitors by $800.00 and gave me a price early on which they honored all the way to the end. Emilio (salesman) was extremely knowledgeable and bent over backwards to get me what I wan't. Chris (manager) did the same, he told me up front what he could do for me pricewise with no fuzzy math. I am writing this review for all the people like me who think they deserve a fair shake without all the hassle. IRA changed my mind about the whole car buying process. ZOOM ZOOM!! More
I had been a service customer in the past but stop going to Ira Mazda because of the poor service and high prices. I received an invitation to a Customer Appreciation night where the new service manager to Ira Mazda because of the poor service and high prices. I received an invitation to a Customer Appreciation night where the new service manager was going to talk about the changes that have taken place at Ira Mazda, so I attended. The event was great. They had a great buffet, explained all of the changes, talked about their new lower prices and raffled off a LOT of free prizes. I won a free detail... Since then I have gone back for my next service and they delivered on all of their promises. The new staff is very friendly and helpful, the prices are great and it is so much easier to do business their. The only problem is now I have to tell all the people I discouraged from going there that now they HAVE to go their for their service. Great Job Guys. More
Buying a first car is always a challenge no matter what type you are purchasing. I fell in love with the Mazda 3 last summer using Zip Cars through my work.My Dad came with me to buy my car because I thou type you are purchasing. I can say that I never felt that way at Ira Mazda. Their service was excellent and Emilio explained every detail thoroughly to both my Dad and I. I would definitely recommend this dealership to friends and family. They did not hassle me to purchase the car right away and they were very thorough in their explanations. More
