Our buying experience with Ira Mazda couldn't have been easier. The very friendly and personable Albert Blank was our sales consultant! Al was very patient, giving us all the time we needed to look over the car while he explained its many internal features and how to set them up/use them. We had a great test drive, all the while having the car's performance-, safety- and automatic-features pointed out by Al. We love our new CX9! We would definitely recommend Ira Mazda to anyone looking to buy a new Mazda. I had a flat tire yesterday and was never given the lug nut key when I purchased my CX7..They took care of their mistake though! Him and another Mazda employee changed my tire to the spare right there on the side of the road. I went to the dealership with my spare on and they changed all the locks and gave me a key, They didn't have the tired I needed instock and I didn't feel comfortable driving all the way home with the spare. So, Chris Gannett offered me a rental. I left the dealership happy after being very upset over the situation. Everyone makes mistakes, but not many make up for it...IRA Mazda definitely takes care of their customers!! So glad I purchased from them and not Liberty Mazda! More

Al was aware of what I wanted in a car and when he found they did not have it on the lot, he went and got it for me. We were made a deal that we couldn't let go! Our salesman Al, along with the other salesmen were very knowledgeable about their vehicles, (I spent many hours there and got to hear them speeek to man salesman Al, along with the other salesmen were very knowledgeable about their vehicles, (I spent many hours there and got to hear them speeek to many different buyers.) Al was a determined salesman, and one that went out of his way to make the deal happen. He even came in on his day off to help us in a car decision! My many phone calls were taken without hesitation, and I am so impressed by the way he walked us through the whole transaction. Hey stayed with us as we sat with Chris to figure out what the deal was. After our agreement for the car my husband and I wanted to purchase, there was a problem with the price that was agreed upon, so I sat with Chris, and we all came to an agreement. Chris was very business like during the negotiation and listened very carefully to my situation as he understood me. After our agreement we started talking. My husband and I became very impressed with him and I was able to tell that he was a very warm individual. I have already told one of my employees to go by there and see what they have to offer. She was expressing how she may want to purchase a new car, so I told her about my experience. One more thing to add......So far I love my car!!! More

I've bought many, many cars over the years and this was BY FAR the absolute best experience I've ever had. From the time I walked in the door and met the new sales guy Taylor to my calls with Gary Clark (s BY FAR the absolute best experience I've ever had. From the time I walked in the door and met the new sales guy Taylor to my calls with Gary Clark (sales manager) about what I wanted and the models he found for me to when Emilio delivered the car by showing me all the great features of my new Miata, everything has been perfect! I especially loved working with Gary. (big smile) He found me this beautiful competition yellow Miata that is absolutely gorgeous!! I'll admit, when he told me about it, I wasn't sure about the color. But he said, "You have to see this! It's exactly what you need" And, he was right. And, the care and patience that Emilio showed through all my questions was wonderful. I know I asked some simple questions, but he was great through it all. It really helped that he also has a Miata and has first-hand knowledge. That was extremely valuable to me as a new customer. They definitely love Mazda's at IRA and it comes through loud and clear. And, they definitely know how to treat their customers too. That makes all the difference!! Thanks Gary, Emilio, Al and Taylor. My husband and I showed up on a Sunday interested in purchasing the Mazda CX-9. AJ greated us and was very laid back (we liked that) and he showed us the CX-9 in the showroom and we explained what we we purchasing the Mazda CX-9. AJ greated us and was very laid back (we liked that) and he showed us the CX-9 in the showroom and we explained what we were looking for, our trade in (which we were belly up on) and what we were looking to pay. He promptly showed us the 2wd sport and we took it for a drive. When we got back we sat and ran numbers. They ran our credit scores and then AJ came back with two unbelievable offers that met our criteria. We filled out the loan application and after waiting AJ came back and said everything went great the car was ours but they had to finish the paper work with a "live" person Mon morning and that he would call us when we could come in to pick it up. AJ went to the extent of telling us that we should clean our trade in out and that we could tell people we got a new car. I was so excited. AJ actually told us this site and wanted us to leave a good review, good thing we waited! I was amazed at the service, as it was great up until then. Monday morning came around..then the afternoon, still no call. My husband called AJ at about 2 and he said he would call him back in 10 mins he would have to talk to Freddie to see what was going on. 3 hours later AJ called back saying that we couldn't get the new CX-9 but that they had a used one we could definitely get, no questions about it, that he was 10 steps ahead of us in the process. We recently purchased a house which was making it difficult to get a loan for 35k but were approved for 25k. I should have walked away at this point but I loved the car so we went and took a look at it and test drove it. We loved it. We met with Freddie and he said that we were approved for the 25k but he would have to run it by the bank to make sure we could still get it. I specifically asked if we were already approved for the loan why he had to re-run it by the bank, did it matter if the car was new or used and he responded telling me the bank doesn't look at the car you are buying and approve you, they only use your credit and income, clearly not answering my question. I was confused and so was my husband. He said he would call me around 1030am on Tuesday. That evening my husband asked if we dropped the trade would that make it easier and both Freddie and AJ said it wouldn't come to that because this was definitely going to work with the trade in and used car. Tuesday rolled around and no call. My husband called AJ around 1 and he said that the person they work with at the bank wasn't in today but that scenario 2 (used and trade in) wasn't going to work but that it was definitely going to work with no trade in, buying the used alone. It was then that I knew we were being screwed some way some how. If the banker that was handling the loan wasn't in to approve scenario 3..how were they able to deny our shot with the used car and trade it for 25k? Especially after Freddie told us he was positive it was going to work? After thinking about it all night and how I wasn't going to give my business to people who gave me the run around for 3 days, lied to me for 3 days and tried to screw me over for 3 days, my business I put my foot down and said that if I wasn't getting the used car with my trade in for 25k there was no deal. That is when Chris the GM called me and got involved, at which the whole time I knew I was on speaker phone with sales people in the room listening in. I spoke with him at 930am and he told me he was going right to the finance manager (Freddie) and would call me back. At 1pm I got a call from the 2 of them asking me to put more money down, or get a different cosigner, neither which I agree to as my husband and I make good money, which by the way they didn't use our additional income for the loan (why, I have no idea) nor did they bother to verify it and if they did they wouldn't have had any issues. They gave me some lecture which doesn't make sense on their end or justify their actions as we were approved for the 25k but wouldn't sell us the car. They wanted more money. It was then that I said I am taking my business else where to a dealership that would appreciate it. We may be a young couple and we may be car hungry, but we aren't stupid. If they had done good business with us we would have purchased my husbands new car through them as well and all future cars. Do not go here unless you plan on paying for your car in cash. EDIT: We just went to Liberty Mazda in Wakefield and had a GREAT experience. We were in and out WITH A CAR THAT DAY in 1 1/2 hours. They got us in the car we wanted, which was the same as at Ira, for a better price and rate. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THESE PEOPLE. More

We worked with Albert Blank who was very friendly and really knew his stuff. He knew Mazda's history, its quality and especially the model of car (Mazda 3) that we were interested in. He helped us figure out which model had the features we were looking for without trying to oversell us into a more expensive model (which would have made us leave the dealership since we wanted a more basic/commuter car). He was helpful in the price negotiations. We would recommend Al- a great salesman for Mazda who seems to enjoy getting people the cars they need. More
