I received a phone call from Gannon about the Mazda 3i Touring, and I asked him about the price over the phone and he said we can discuss it whenever I get around to coming in. I went in to IRA Mazda a couple nights later with a friend of mine. Albert Blank (very courteous and nice) greeted me, and I asked for Gannon, as he said during our phone conversation to ask for him whenever I get there. So I did. He came out and shook hands with me. Everything is fine. Later, when Al and I were going through and discussing the price, and Al wanted to know what price I was comfortable with. I wrote down a price. Al then went to Gannon and told him how much I wanted the car for. After a few minutes, he came back, and I asked him for verdict. Al responded back by saying that he has good news and that Gannon wanted to talk to me personally about it. So Al showed me the way to his office. I stood in the office for about minute, just waiting for Gannon to finish whatever he was doing on the computer - Personally, I think he should have called me in when he was all set on the computer, rather than have me standing there waiting awkwardly. When he turned around on his chair (still on the computer), he responded by saying that "you want the car for that price?! you're not going to get that price anywhere. no dealer would accept a price like that." This wasnt the good news I was expecting, nor did I expect Gannon to say this in the open air in front of 3 other IRA workers. This should have been discussed in a closed room. I was embarassed in front of Ira workers. I wasn't even offered a different price. The price quoted by Mazda was $300 more than the other dealership I came from. Yes, the price I asked for is $16,500, which I expected to be turned out, but not turned down like that. At least bargain and fight for a customer to make him feel comfortable with a price. Instead, I walked away, embarassed, and made to feel like a man that's just been slapped and insulted in a world I have fought and worked very hard for everything I've earned. I walked away, feeling that Gannon thinks that he is better than me and that neither he nor Ira needs or wants my business. That is the "good" news Al Blank was referring to. Gannon could have just told Al Blank to tell me "no" and be done with a customer. What "good" news was there to tell me? Even my friend who was with me at the time was left with a very unsettling feeling, and left him knowing that he was glad that he won't have to go through Ira Mazda. My experience tells him not to buy from Ira Mazda, not by word of mouth from me. More

Everyone was very professional and helpfull. Did not feel presured to buy. All issues and questions were answered to our satisfaction. Will definitely reccommend this dealer and salesman to others. Bob Edwards is experienced and jovial, having been in the car business longer then even he might like to remember. Mr. Edwards and the people around him made the price discovery process and the ensuing paper car business longer then even he might like to remember. Mr. Edwards and the people around him made the price discovery process and the ensuing paperwork transaction reasonably painless and straightforward, even delivering the car when pick-up @ the dealership would have been difficult. As to the price - who knows what constitutes a "good" or "great" price, as the customer is not privy to all information related to the dealer costs and incentives...? More
I was searching for a Mazda CX-9. My wife and I aimed for a dealership that had no hassle whatsoever for purchasing the car. My wife and I traveled to a few dealerships and all of them were horrible in service. They kept distracting us with specific cars and sales that we had no interest in, whatsoever. However, at Ira Mazda, I highly recommend Albert Blank. No hassles, no distractions. Albert helped my wife and I choose the best car. Ira Mazda helped us with our finances too. We had to pull a few strings to make the payment, however, they helped us with the payment and my wife was highly impressed with the customer service and the quick process, as was I. We were driving by a short time. We love our new car- best quality and great service by Albert. More
My Saleman was Bob and was very helpfull in buying the car, I would highly recommend asking for him if you want a great deal . He did everything from start to finsh, He also took care of the plates and gi car, I would highly recommend asking for him if you want a great deal . My wife and I originally showed up to get our Mazda3 serviced and test drive a Mazda5. We were planning to buy soon, just not right away. Al worked with us 100% to get us into the car we wanted for the serviced and test drive a Mazda5. We were planning to buy soon, just not right away. Overall, one of the best car buying experience that I have had. Honestly there were a few hiccups here and there but nothing major. Everything was taken care of.
