They treated us like family and that is why we continued to purchase from them and recommend them to family and friends. Our last two purchases however, have caused us to change our opinion and sentiment. The service has become atrocious! The personnel appear inexperienced and neglectful. You can wait for hours only to find out that the work on your car was completed but the staff "forgot" to let you know. Parts are not replaced properly and/or are missing. Ordered parts take forever to arrive and you only find out that they are "in" after making repeated inquiries. Returning your leased vehicle??? bahahaha! After being notified that your lease is up, being told to "just return it to the dealership", and after making arrangements to drop it off, you are told by the sales personnel, after a half hour, that and inspector has to inspect the car at your home and you can't return it until they file a report. Nice! Gone are the days of the great customer service that we have expected from No. Plfd., Nissan. Gone also is a repeat customer. More

Horrible Took our Nissan Van in for the oil change, it took over 3 hours only to find out they damaged our running boards when using their lift. Tried calling Took our Nissan Van in for the oil change, it took over 3 hours only to find out they damaged our running boards when using their lift. Tried calling and send in the photos and nothing has been done. They were very argumentative and threatened to call "security" on us! I should have filed a police report for the damages! Too bad I did not read the other reviews before I went there. Save yourself a lot of trouble go somewhere else! More
Worst customer service In my whole life I have never experienced the worst customer service than in north field Nissan. They have got no sense of accountability and courtesy In my whole life I have never experienced the worst customer service than in north field Nissan. They have got no sense of accountability and courtesy towards customer and they lie . I was supposed to receive my title a week ago but it's been two weeks I have not received a title yet. Your sales person doesn't care after the car is sold . General manager, Mike never calls you back no matter how many voice mail you leave. I have spend like 4800 to get a used car and not been able to use a car. Even if you call to complain they don't repond well. I regret going to this place and would never recommend to anybody. All th staff should really have a proper training to deal with customer. More

At the time of purch I bought Nissan Rogue 2011 in the month of March 2015 from this dealership. They have cheated about the price I have paid for it. At the time of purchase they did not gave me complete breakup of the cost and said there was some system issue so will send it later. But unfortunately I have to moved to Charlotte and when I got the cost breakup and I found $500 coupon rebate amount which they said I will get but did not got it. I am keep on calling them but they just forward the call and dont respond. I have made 100+ calls and sent 50+ emails for follow-up but did not got any response. I am writing this review so that everyone come to know how bad people they have just Untrustworthy and cheaters. More
Not a good Mothers Day :'( Just so it's clear from the start, this is not to cause anyone to be excused from their jobs or to deter anyone who may feel differently than i do abo Just so it's clear from the start, this is not to cause anyone to be excused from their jobs or to deter anyone who may feel differently than i do about this dealership. But it is to tell what happened and to cause others to be aware as well as encourage an alternative way for management at Nissan North Plainfield NJ, to deal with their repeat customers. April 2014, I walked into this dealership to trade out my car. I met with who i will call K (to protect him). Very nice young man who offered me a good deal. "But the car had an issue with the breaks. K test drove it and confirmed.I let the manager M, know, and he said, dont worry about it, if it doesnt go away, then we can check it out later,ok?"Because you are our customer". i took the car to my mechanic who told me the breaks were ok, just cheap and thats why it squeeked. So, he said it's in good condition, i kept the car.i gave them the benefit of the doubt. 9 mths later, my son needed a car. K wasnt there, so i ended up with B. i told them my son was able to pay 200.00 for a car payment cause he was in college full time and working part time. we took a nissan sentra 2009, then i noticed that my son is 6 1" and if he grew taller, he wouldnt fit in it. We got a Nissan Altima 2010. they offered me 246.10. First thing i thought was, did anyone hear my original request? But, they said they couldnt go any lower. So, after careful consideration, i saw that the car was bigger and newer than the sentra, so we said yes. Then, just four months later, my mother needed a car. It was a surprise for Mothers Day as i told them. i explained the situation before i got there so there is no confusion. i told them mom is on a fixed income and she cant afford a payment higher 231.00. They knew we didnt have a down payment and that there was money owed on her trade. dealerships have special financing mngrs to deal with these things. So, with all they knew, they suggested a 2009 malibu. They said this would be what we can afford. we drove it and she took it home. she called me the next morning saying she had steering issues. i took the car to my mechanic who told me that there were other issues (from the itemized inspection service list)oil change needed, cooler line leak, power steering fluid flush needed, needed air filter, power steering pump leak, trans cooler line leak, remote for car door and alarm not working at all,and some cosmetic damage. we took the car back for something else. M, the mngr. told me that it was the mechanics job to try to sell these things and so they may have exaggerated. But their own mechanic in the back said" Well you have a choice, either wait for the parts, or get another car". That told me there were issues.so,,i didnt buy that either. Next game up, they had a Nissan Coupe outside to drive. Now, i noticed that the price was higher and i told B, before driving,"Oh dont worry, they will adjust the price" he replied. Well, we got upstairs and they gave us a payment 40.00 more than what we had agreed. No deal here either. 7 days passed since the original request and we were tired. Finally, they had a 2012 Versa of which B called me on the phone before coming in saying This car will keep you at the same payment. But in the office, B denied in front of the manager that he told me the payments would be the same. they offered us 242.00 and later 232.89. After leaving and coming back we decided to take the 232.89. They asked us to return tomr since the Bank for Gap protection ins. had to be in to take the coverage off. the next day, we got to the desk and B said it will be 242.00. when i called wells fargo, they said Gap ins has nothing to do with them, that the Dealer sold it. B got up and left us and sent his manager to us who said "WE DON'T WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH YOU" "WE DON'T WANT TO SELL YOU A CAR" . "IT'S OUR CHOICE." i asked why and if i did anything wrong? I got shrugged shoulders and no answer except thats what HIS mngr told Him to say. Ha?? a repeat customer?Uh... pardon me North Plainfield Nissan but I bought 2 cars with you.. I Have lifetime oil changes and if i need a rental too, my contract says i HAVE TO COME back for them. So you have no choice but do business with me . I called corporate who said they cant do anything since the store is privately owned. Was this an example of horrible business practices exposed? Perhaps I wasn't your average naive customer who may have been easily mislead? Was I sent away for verifying all that was told to me? Or did I know more than they wanted me to know and couldn't be taken advantage of? You decide. Whatever it was...this is what I experienced This time..OMG...WOW...What a terrible Mothers Day for my mom and I!!! Their loss not ours. ;-( More
Bad Sales Practices My grandmother and I was looking into buy me a new car, because my old one could not be repaired. I was looking for a manual transmission car, and I f My grandmother and I was looking into buy me a new car, because my old one could not be repaired. I was looking for a manual transmission car, and I found the Nissan Sentra S, at a very affordable price. After doing a lot of shopping around, my grandmother and I had decided to make the deal with the dealership. I am in college so me and my grandmother took roles; I searched for the vehicles and she would go to the dealership to check out the car, and tell me what she thought. After gathering both my grandmother and my information, the sales man (Sidhu) took a five hundred dollar check from my grandmother that she was willing to put down so that they could hold the car for us, until I was able to come up from school in order to confirm that I liked the vehicle. She specifically told him " if there are any complications or problems with the deal please contact me and let me know". When we arrived at the dealership we waited for about ten minutes, so that we could continue our transaction with the salesman (Sidhu). After his arrival, he proceeded to lead us out to the lot, and showed us a car that was not the one him and my grandmother had made a deal on. Instead he said to us "someone has came in and brought the car with cash". (After telling her on the previous day that we could not pay cash for the car because the bank does not make any money in the deal.) Which we later found out was not the case, instead the people had financed the vehicle just as we planed to do, one lie on top of many. Previously during the conversation with the salesman (Sidhu) , and my grandmother he had assured her that the car would not be sold, and that he was going to hold the car for us until I was able to arrive; two days later. But none of this happened, instead of the salesman (SIdhu) contacting my grandmother and letting her know that there was someone there ready to purchase the car, she would have put more money down in order to secure the car, but none of that happened. I go to college in south jersey at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, and I work part time at walmart as well. By the dealership giving away our car, they have caused a major inconvenience, and tried to offer another car, but refused to go down on the price. If there is a car that you like, then make sure that the deal is "married" because if not the dealership will not uphold their contract and would sell your car to the next person coming in. Also if you do go there to purchase a car, do not use the salesman we used (Sidhu) because he is not willing to keep an open communication with his clients, which resulted in me not receiving a car today. My first car was a 1992 Maxima, which was sadly stolen on my 27th birthday. And, today I drive a 2005 Altima. Her name is Grace. ? I love everything about Nissan cars. They are stylish, durable, great on gas, and extremely reliable. I’m only changing my current car because I wanted something a little newer. So naturally, I headed back to Nissan. My experience at North Plainfield Nissan was like none other. I walked in a little apprehensive and somewhat prepared to have the regular pushy sales rep experience. But from the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who then introduced me to my amazing sales rep, Guy Snow. Right from the start, Guy was friendly and warm. I arrived thinking I wanted a Nissan Pathfinder (which Guy was happy to show me) but after testing driving it, I was left a little disappointed. Guy then asked me some questions to get a feel about what I was looking for and to get a better understanding of my day-to-day needs and lifestyle as a whole. He then suggested I take a look at the Nissan Murano and Nissan Rogue. I didn't really like the Rogue (too small) but the Murano was perfect! It had EVERYTHING I wanted, needed, and dreamed of. Just like my beloved Altima it handled well and seemed to be tailor just for me. I felt sassy, girly, and empowered (exactly my personality) in the Murano which made me love it even more. Guy truly found the perfect car for me. I believe he was prepared to show me every car in the lot until I found one that fit. lol I totally appreciated that. Never did I feel like he was "just trying to make a sale". Guy genuinely wanted to help me find the perfect vehicle for me. He was so patient, professional and informative, which only added to my love affair with Nissan vehicles. Having a dealership and sale rep that takes time to treat each customer as a person and not “just another sale” was exactly what I needed. I would totally recommend North Plainfield Nissan to anyone in the market for a Nissan or any vehicle they may have on their lot. More
