And if the dealership does not like the price I over they have the absolute right to say no. But they have no right to pass an insulting and derogatory remark. Sam who is the manager should realize that his remarks reflect very bad on the dealership. After he passed the insulting remark, me and my colleague went straight to Bridgewater Nissan and got a better deal in more friendly place. North Plainfield Nissan seems to be going down in customer service big time and that is reflected in there rating and sales as well. While they were all sitting and wasting time and passing comments on customers, other dealerships are selling Cars. I think they are enjoying there no work time under the able leadership of Sam. Will never go there and also make sure none of my colleagues and friends buy from them. More

All in all, awesome experience and look forward to doing business with them again in the future. More
Really bad experience Don't trust Nissan North Plainfield they are a bunch of liers. I got Nissan Armada and I was told that I get free oil change for life but today after a few years they said I have to pay it they don't keep their work . And I also before they try to charge me $600 for change something that my guaranty suppose to cover but they said no . So I went to Nissan in Springfield they change it and told me my guaranty covers it . Bunch of liers don't do business with NORTH PLAINFIELD NISSAN save your money. More

They convinced us to go the certified used car program which cost extra but provided extra coverage. When we closed we were given one key. When I asked about a second the salesman said as part of the certified program we were entitled to one just email him and he will get it. I did as well as called three times. Each answer was I’ll speak to the finance rep who did the Certified Program to authorize it. Nothing. After a month my wife went to get the plates. Same answer from him and nothing. Then we took the car for oil change at our local Nissan. They said the oil pan was severely dented and need replacing for $1000. They recommend addressing this with the seller. Unfortunately after that I was in and out of the hospital, followed by my mother who lives with us. Finally in January got a chance to go back. Saw the salesman he said just go to Service say you bought certified and they will give you a key. I go there they say do I have it in writing authorizing the key. I said I was told it came with the Certified. I also showed then the oil pan, bill and service comments. They go and talk and say we waited to llon, there was nothing we could do. No key, no compensation for selling a damaged car. No empathy. I will never go there or buy there again. I expressed this and the salesman said oh well I won’t be here the next time you are looking for a car anyway. It was clear there was never any intention to provide a second key as promised and the car was never fully checked to be certified before it was sold with a damaged oil pan. What I thought was a good deal turned into another 1600 for the oil pan and second key More
False advertising and misleading customers After seeing prices that just seemed too good to be true on 2016 Nissan Sentra's, I drove out to the dealership. I live in Pennsylvania so the trip wa After seeing prices that just seemed too good to be true on 2016 Nissan Sentra's, I drove out to the dealership. I live in Pennsylvania so the trip was over 60 miles each way. To make sure I was not just wasting my time, I called the dealership 4 different times and spoke to 4 different salespeople about the vehicle I desire, a 2016 Sentra SV that was listed as Gun Metallic on their website. Each salesperson assured me that this was the correct price online with no additional fees other than the certification fee, which would be an additional $300 to $400. A day later, I drove out to the dealership and when the salesperson brought me the vehicle I was interested in, it was not an SV at all but rather just an S model, even though it was listed as an SV online with pictures and a video of an SV. The deception was down to the point where even the tag on the car said it was an SV! Visibly upset, I asked to see the Gun Metallic Sentra SV that I came out for. They had the car listed under a price that was a $1,000 more expensive and when I moved forward to negotiations, the sales manager came out and presented me with the more expensive price plus a $995 "prep free" and $1095 for the certification. When I asked what the prep fee was for, his response was, "its just prep, you know, to prep the car." This was on top of a $499 documentation fee, sales tax, tags, and registration fees. The disclaimer on their website states: "vehicle pricing includes all offers and incentives plus a $499 Doc Fee," which is interpreted as the documentation fee is included in the price listed but the manager told me that I cannot read because that obviously means plus of not included. After being insulted multiple times, I was irate and tried to leave, stating that the dealership should not falsely advertise cheaper prices for cars that do not exist. The manager, however, asked me several times to stay and spent the next 20 minutes looking on his own website, which he should be familiar with, trying to understand what was on it. After all this, he told that it was a typo on their website, even though it was a clear deceptive move of switching labels on the cars to mislead customers. The sales manager was extremely rude and had absolutely no knowledge of what his staff or his inventory were advertising. I have never had a worse experience and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More

What could be wrong with a certified car that it already needs work done? The salesperson TJ was very unapologetic. He also explained that there is no negotiating with online prices. When my mechanic said to focus on a Toyota or Subaru and steer clear of Nissans, I should have listened. More

They also promised me an incentive if I helped them sell my trade in which got sold in 2 days. The answer I got back from them was it took them money to fix my car (which should've been fixed when I bought it) and that's why they wouldn't give me my incentive. Car had multiple issues, bought a car that ended up being in their service for over 2 weeks. They tend to blame it on "previous ownership", don't believe them it's still owned by the same person. Their own employees admitted to it (can't mention names to protect them). I will be contacting Nissan Corporate. They should not be in business. If you don't believe me, look at the number of 1 star reviews. Would love to give them 0 stars. Stay away! More
