I Purchased a 2023 Nissan rogue on April 30. On May 28, when my temporary license plates expired I was told that they issued new license plates in my husband's name. My husband passed away on Ap On May 28, when my temporary license plates expired I was told that they issued new license plates in my husband's name. My husband passed away on April 19, 2015. How they managed to get plates in his name is beyond me. I have been trying since then to get License plates for my car now they haven't even updated my temporary plates. They are not calling me back in this regard. I would not buy another car from this dealership even though I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years at my wits end and I don't know what to do. I am now riding around with an expired temporary license plate. I actually didnt want to give any star rating, but it didnt allow me to give any rating. More
I bought a 2019 Certified Sentra and was told it was in perfect running conditions back in May of 2023. Here it is 3 months later and I go for an oil change and I've been told that the car needs brakes, br perfect running conditions back in May of 2023. If all this was needed why lie to sell the vehicle and say everything was inspected and is in great condition. Very disappointed in being deceived. Lessoned learned. As far as the oil change service goes, I appreciate them honoring my appointment when I was 15 minutes late. The oil change was done reasonably quickly and the explanation of the work needed was appreciated. Very laid back atmosphere in the service center which was a nice change of pace. For the service part of my dealings with Nissan Of North Plainfield I give them a solid 4 Stars. More
They are in business to try and gouge their customers for whatever they can get over sticker on their vehicles. Really horrible trying to buy a car from a greedy dealer. I been in to try and buy a altima a couple of times. I run into a problem every time. I had a problem with a former sales manager and my car was hit in the parking lot. They have never tried to make up for all the problems I have had at their dealership. More
STAY AWAY from this place. I just bought a CPO Murano and the entire experience was horrendous. They outright lied to me several times, screwed up the paperwork for my loan ( I just bought a CPO Murano and the entire experience was horrendous. They outright lied to me several times, screwed up the paperwork for my loan (deliberate because I was not going with Nissan financing as my bank gave a much lower interest rate, therefore no kickback) which delayed them releasing my vehicle to me by 2 weeks. They (my salesperson and the Sales Manager) caused me tremendous stress and aggravation. Both have A LOT to learn about customer service, honesty and integrity. I will NEVER step foot in this dealership again and will go out of my way to ensure that everyone I know never goes there. I have no tolerance for people who lie to customers, so no further business from me EVER. More
1 day after I bought a 2118 Pathfinder I brought it back because the automatic hatch opener would not work while the car was not running. I told salesman it must be the battery.I was told it was not the bat because the automatic hatch opener would not work while the car was not running. I told salesman it must be the battery.I was told it was not the battery, it was the key fob battery which they changed. Somehow the hatch opened. But when I got home it did not. I went back and was told the battery was not covered buy the warranty. Are you kidding me, I just bought the car!! I had to pay my shop $175 for a new battery. The hatch now works. On top of this, there was no jack or tow hook in the car. It took more than a month and a call to the supervisor to get the jack. They still haven't given me a tow hook which is required to properly tow the car. The salesman says he will call me when another car comes in with a hook that he will give me. This will leave the next customer in the same situation. But I don't think I will be getting a call. xxx, order a hook. More
I was looking for upgraded car than what I was driving until yesterday. But I was little hesitant to go with a new car in such crazy market. When I told the manager I felt like I was in a playground her response was “yes we like to keep it lively in here”. Really it’s a car dealership how about they try to sell cars instead of playing games. Sales rep Stephanie was a sweetheart at first and then when we were set on a price she became nasty and rude. Needless to say thank you because you lost our business, and we got the Nissan same model for the price we wanted in a professional environment. More
The services and sales managers went out of their way to make sure I got whatever I needed at the best rate. I called several colleagues to make sure I was getting the best price, and I really was. Kelly stayed extra late to finalize the deal because of my urgent need for a car, which I deeply respect and love her for. More
