Mr. Pietrangelo, Thank you for your recent visit to our service department. We met on October 9th to review the suspected damage to your 2006 Passat's windshield after a safety inspection was performed out our location. Prior to your visit I used the sticker scraper tool that the inspection mechanic used one your car and attempted to damage an piece of windshield glass to see if there was a defect with the same blade he used on your windshield. Additionally, during our meeting with your agreement, I scraped the windshield with and without glass lubricant in different areas to see if there was a defect in the windshield which scratch. I was unable to scratch your windshield. I provided you with a service credit to use at your leisure for future visits or to purchase parts at our dealership per our agreement.
