Ms. Sienko, Thank you for your recent visit to our service center. We apologize that your Beetle sustained damage while using our local partner's car wash. We wash approximately 1,000 vehicles monthly using this car wash and there is very rarely any damage sustained. The mirror caps attach very firmly to the mirror housing but can become ajar during the high speed blower cycle if previously impacted or damage. As a courtesy, we purchased, painted and installed a new mirror cap for your Beetle. If you have any concerns using the automated car wash moving forward or prefer to hand wash yourself, we can add a note to your account with a request not to wash your vehicle. We appreciate your many years of business with our dealership and look forward to seeing you back soon for PA inspection/emissions and annual maintenance! Sincerely, Ken Benton Service Manager
