Another great experience buying another great car. North Penn offered me a great deal on a new Passat to replace the one I was driving. Good but not perfect The service was suppose to include checking all fluids, tire pressure, and etc but instead the service writer asked if I wanted those things done (and The service was suppose to include checking all fluids, tire pressure, and etc but instead the service writer asked if I wanted those things done (and that it would take more than an hour). Last I checked, it only takes a few minutes to check windshield washer fluid and make sure the tires are inflated perfectly. The service was originally for a factory recommended “ECM Programming.” My question, if you’re trying to improve your customer service, why wouldn’t you just perform a courtesy fluid check (after all you had the car for an hour)? Excellent Experience I first inquired online about a CPO Jetta that was on the lot and was in contact with Shawn. He was quick to answer any questions I had about the car, I first inquired online about a CPO Jetta that was on the lot and was in contact with Shawn. He was quick to answer any questions I had about the car, and was patient with me while I considered other options. Shawn was off the day I was able to come see the car, so I worked with Michael. He was able to answer most of my questions and help me along the process with great patience. When he couldn't answer a specific warranty question, he was able to get an answer from another staff member for me. As a fairly new member of the team, I hope to see him around for a while. He was also in contact via email after the purchase to see if I had any questions. I will note that the tire pressures were low and set off a tpms light the morning after purchase. A minor inconvenience, but should have been caught on final prep. More
