Shoddy Maintenance I always thought highly of this dealership after buying my Mazda 6 a couple years ago. But a recent issue with the service department has completely c I always thought highly of this dealership after buying my Mazda 6 a couple years ago. But a recent issue with the service department has completely changed my opinion. I spent over $600 for maintenance that included tire rotation and brake work. A couple days later I heard a rattling sound coming from one wheel that got progressively worse. I pulled over and found that two lug nuts were so loose I could turn them with my fingers. Further inspection found that all ten front wheel lug nuts were not tightened. I quickly tightened all of them and the problem was solved. I called North Penn Mazda and their theory was that the technician had a faulty torque wrench. I don’t accept this because the back wheels were completely tight, so that suggests the technician simply forgot to tighten the front wheels. This basic error could have been disastrous as I drove at highway speed for a couple days. Since North Penn Mazda didn’t take this seriously, I reported it to Mazda USA and got no response from them as well. I will not let North Penn Mazda touch my car again, and will never buy another Mazda. Mazda could have kept me as a customer with a simple call or words of concern, but that didn’t happen. More

Between the misdiagnosis of my problem, the lack of part availability, the poor follow through when the part was actually available, and the miscommunication of the status of my repair, I spent many hours traveling back and forth to the dealership and feeling frustrated with the lack of customer service. North Penn Mazda offered a very fair price from the outset, handled nearly all the paperwork in advance via e-mail, and had no tricks or last minute surprises when I traveled up to get the car. Very glad to have done business with them. More

Great start for establishing trust I just bought my Mazda M6 and this was my first service visit. In addition to normal maintenance things, I had a trim moulding that seemed to be loos I just bought my Mazda M6 and this was my first service visit. In addition to normal maintenance things, I had a trim moulding that seemed to be loose. The mechanic identified that it was due to a broken clip and replaced it with one he had onsite. No charge. I half expected to be charged several dollars for the piece plus labor but was pleasantly surprised. A great first visit. More
