I found a car for sale online through autotraders.com-it happened to be on sale at North End Motors in Canton. I called and made an appointment for 7:15pm to see the 2008 Altima, but I forget who I was supp happened to be on sale at North End Motors in Canton. I arrived at 7:15pm, and the person I spoke to on the phone was busy with another customer. I only had to wait a couple of minutes before Oscar introduced himself. He was very friendly and a pleasure to work with. If he didn't have an exact answer to a question either I or my Dad had, he worked hard to get an answer for us. He made sure that I was completely satisfied with my car before I drove away with it. I was able to purchase the car with a dealer's check from the company through which I have my car loan. It took a couple of days for the check to clear, but Oscar was very helpful and didn't mind that I kept calling to see if/when the check had cleared, so I could pick up my car. On the day I was able to pick up my car, I wasn't able to get there until after 5pm. I believe he was done for the day at 4:00pm, but made the effort to return to the dealership so that he was there when I came to pick up my car. AND this was on a Friday too! I don't know if that's a "normal" thing for a car salesman to do, but I thought that was pretty cool. Dave was very friendly, and also a pleasure to work with. Great sense of humor, which is always a plus! I wasn't in the best of moods buying this car, only because I really don't need the monthly car payments, but he made me laugh anyway! More

My husband and I had gone to at least 5 different dealerships before a friend referred us to North End Motors. Walking around browsing all of the cars, we were very pleased with the prices. They helped us every step of the way and they both made the process of buying a car quick and hassle free! My husband and I were overall extremely happy with our choice of North End Motors. The service as well as the atmosphere was great, and everyone could not have been more helpful! We will absolutely be recommending North End Motors! More
My experience at North End Motors was wonderful and smooth...Steve was very accomodating and easy to deal with...there were a couple of areas on the 2006 Acura MDX that needed attention..he sent it ove smooth...Steve was very accomodating and easy to deal with...there were a couple of areas on the 2006 Acura MDX that needed attention..he sent it over to the body shop and they did an incredible job! NEM is a very clean, professional but friendly dealership. Frank Morales was very friendly, upfront and helpful. I could not have asked for a better salesman. Jeff Ford made the paperwork very easy to get thru. The car was very fairly priced, based on what I had seen of similar cars at other dealerships and the standard used car pricing authorities. It was in excellent condition and immaculate, just as pictured on the website. I had the car independently inspected, which confirmed its condition. The whole car buying process at NEM was quick, pleasant, and painless, with no unwanted surprises. They even helped with the license plate transfer. I am very pleased with the Acura TL I bought, and would definitely go to these guys again. More
I appreciated that nobody jumped all over us the second we arrived, but everyone was friendly once we were inside. I think that this demonstrates his commitment to North End Motors, his commitment to the hard working employees there, and to me as a potential customer. It is for that reason that I'm changing my recommendation for this dealership, and can honestly say that I'm giving them another chance. I'm going to leave my old review down below so you can see what experience led me here. I may update this review as I continue to work w/them. [ORIGINAL REVIEW] I'm currently in the market for a used Honda Civic. I want to find the best model I can for less than $6000. I knew it was a stretch, but I saw a 2005 Honda Civic LX for sale at North End Motors for $7995, and I thought that if I learned more about the car, and received a buying experience commensurate with a large dealership, then I could spring the extra $1-2k for a higher quality car than I was finding at $6k. I test drove the car, had a few friends show up to help me evaluate the car, and took a good look at it (kicked the tires, tested the A/C & heat, etc.). We sat down to talk about price and I laid down a few concerns I had. For one, during the test drive the clutch creaked and stuck horribly, which to me points to an aging clutch. at 108,000 miles, I noted to ask when the clutch had been replaced if at all. In addition, 108k miles is timing belt replacement country for honda civics. I brought both of these concerns up, and they were dismissed as frivolous. "They wouldn't put out an unsafe vehicle, and a worn timing belt has nothing to do w/safety" Fine. Mark (sales) then showed me a point of comparison to show me how awesome $7995 was. he showed me a kbb printout demonstrating the retail value for a 2005 Honda Civic LX in Excellent condition: $9k. It's misleading. The car has 108k miles on it. The timing belt needs replacing (soon). The clutch has a problem they could not explain properly, AND the Carfax report noted that this vehicle had been obtained by the dealer at an auction. In order to protect myself as a consumer, I won't take a salesperson's word for something like this. (no offense to Mark). They have just as much insight into this vehicle as I do at this point, and they're crapping on my worries. I put an offer of $6k (not including taxes & fees) on the table, and it was refused outright. After much more negotiating, they were willing to split the cost of a timing belt replacement with me (and I would have it done myself). I walked away. They came back with an ultimatum because I was on the fence. I offered $6800, but my heart wasn't in it. They came back with $6990, and I thanked them for their time. This is where they surprised me. On the way out of the dealership, Mark comes out and proceeds to trash me. Not only does he throw $6k back at me, but he's openly angry at me for leaving, and is simultaneously trying to sell me on coming back in, and insulting me for wasting his time. It was a miserable move because I was considering coming back if they turned out to be the best deal. Now I'm gone on principle, and would not recommend shopping there. Worst of all, he poo-poo'ed my offer of $6k, saying that he could sell the car wholesale at that price; then comes to me later asking if I'm still interested in $6k? f*ck off, liar. More
I am very pleased with the over all of this dealership and sales person. We came into the dealership, and within one day, found a great car. The sales man helped us out with everything, including, bringing the car to our mecanic on his day off, that was HUGE, also, he brought the car to Hingham to her house, also, took her to the bank, I could not have asked for better service, i was very impressed, with Steve Page. i drove 7 hours to get there, and we only looked at one car, and we bought it!
