My experience at North End Motors changed my perception of independent used car dealerships. My car search was for something very specific - a 2008 or 2009 Toyota Highlander Limited, in white or silver on of independent used car dealerships. Mileage had to be low and the Carfax had to be spotless. I assumed the only place I'd find this specific vehicle was a Toyota dealership, but nobody within 75 miles of my home had exactly what I wanted. I found the one North End Motors had on Autotrader.com and emailed about 10:00 PM on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. I got a friendly call the next morning answering all of my questions and inviting me to come in and see and drive the car. Phil Cocio was the salesman who greeted us and made the whole experience easy. We took a thorough test drive, he showed us all the interesting and unique features the truck had (I wouldn't have expected anyone other than I trained Toyota sales person would have knowledge that deep), and was efficient and professional about the negotiation. I was in and out in about 90 minutes and got what I wanted for a price below Edmund's TMV for the vehicle. The Tuesday after Memorial Day, I arrived when I said I would and my truck was ready to go. An honest, transparent transaction executed by friendly, knowledgeable and professional people. I'd do it again next time. More

I had an overall good buying experience. Renzo, salesman, was very nice. Mike,finance, was helpful securing a great rate. I was looking for a used truck and found one listed on the internet, it turns out it was listed by North End Motors in Canton which is a 20 minute ride from my location. This was the first time I had hear the internet, it turns out it was listed by North End Motors in Canton which is a 20 minute ride from my location. This was the first time I had heard of this dealer even though they are only about 20 minutes away. I'm in the auto repair business and needed a truck to replace my aging vehicle. I made an offer over the internet and a short time later I received a call from a rep from North End Motors to let me know that my offer was close and he asked me to go to the dealer to check out the vehicle further. I expected the typical car dealer games, but much to my surprise I was greeted by a pleasant customer care rep named Bernie Grodzinsky. I told Bernie that I was there to inquire about a used truck that I'd made an offer on. Bernie brought the truck up to the front of the dealership for me to look at and patiently waited while I looked it over. I liked the initial look of the vehicle so Bernie asked me if I was interested in a roadtest, which I was, so he grabbed a plate and off we went. I wanted to take the truck on the highway and without hesitation Bernie led me to the nearest highway. After the roadtest I made another offer on the truck at which time I expected the games to begin, but again, much to my surprise, my offer was accepted and I was beginning the paperwork and finance process. Bernie did everything he could to make my purchase go through as smooth as possible. Everything went well, and before I knew it I was talking to the person handling the finance end of the deal, his name is Mark. Mark was a great guy and got me through the finance process as quickly as possible and helped me with the purchase of an extended warranty (yes, I'm in the auto repair business, and I bought the extended warranty) which I thought was well worth the money. I've been in the auto repair business for over 30 yrs., and I've had my own auto repair business for over 16yrs., I don't sell used vehicles, but I'm constantly asked by my customers if I can recommend a used car dealer where they can shop. Generally I tell people to just look around and hope for a good purchase, but after my experience with North End Motors I feel comfortable referring my customers and friends to this location. My overall experience was great. I noticed a lot of deals being done during the time I was there, and that doesn't surprise me. I actually look forward to recommending North End Motors. I see a good future in their business and would suggest a visit from anyone looking for a vehicle. Bernie was great person to deal with, I hope I can send others to him as well. More
