I was recently forced off the road and narrowly avoided an accident. I hit a vertical curb straight on with my left front tire. Luckily there was no real damage, but I decided to have it aligned at 53000 miles. They also found and repaired an annoying rattle which turned out to be my sway bar end links, and fixed two burned out bulbs at my request. The total bill (off warranty by the way,) was $326.00 My car was ready at the time promised, and drives as good as new again. I was not pressured with any "extra" service offers, and felt like my interests were foremost in their minds. Would I recommend North Country Ford to anyone looking for a Ford product? Yes I would. I recently moved out to Minnesota from Oregon so had to rely on the reviews of others using this forum to find a Ford dealership I could reasonably trust. Having a lot of employment experience in customer service this is one area I am usually the most critical of. When I go into a place of business I look to see if the associates have a sense of urgency (showing they value my time); are they knowledgeable about my needs (at the very least, do they seem happy to research, or pair me with someone who is); do they acknowledge their appreciation of my business (knowing I could just as easily have gone with one of their many competitors); did they meet my need in a timely and accurate fashion, doing it right the first time; and overall, did they meet my expectation or did they WOW me. I must say, the Service Department of North Country Ford in Coon Rapids met my expectations in all areas. I pulled up to one of the bay doors and was greeted by a young man before I could close the door of my car. The "on stage" area (visible to customers) was very well organized and clean. When it was my turn to check in at the counter the woman was very friendly in receiving me. (I was impressed that I was asked for permission before they washed my car. I know some people prefer to opt out of this service.) Kelly Casper was "the face" of the department for me, relaying information from the mechanic to me, offering to bring out a part for me to look at so I could make an informed decision, graciously answering all my questions. The work was done in a reasonable amount of time and as expected. Appreciation was definitely expressed at the end of my visit, and I felt they were genuine in asking for my continued patronage. In keeping with my tendency to critique customer service based on what's important to me, the only recommendation I would make is that when people are waiting in line, even though the associate may be with a customer at that time, look up, make eye contact, and with a smile in your voice simply acknowledge them with, "We'll be with you shortly." This resets the internal clock for those waiting, making it feel as if they didn't have to wait all that long. The Service Department of North Country Ford has secured my future business as well as my recommendation. More

I purchased a new Ford Focus 2013 from "Elvis"Syverson about a month ago now. Elvis was laid back and would allow me to drive any vehicle I wanted prior to making a decision. I didn't feel rushed and he really wanted me to be happy with the car I chose. I then got to visit with Roger Nelson to assist me with the financing of my new car. He was very knowledgable and wanted to ensure I got the best deal his service is going beyond my initial meeting with him by continuing to insure that I'm getting the best finacing available in the future too. A week ago I went to the new customer appreciation night where they treated us with snacks and sandwiches and had service techs out to answer any questions I had with my new car. I was thrilled to be able to talk with Brent Johnson to ask questions about my new Focus. It drives different from my last vehicle that wasn't a Ford, but I had received good information that has allowed me to understand my car more and the way it performs. I think I love my car even more after talking with Brent. I also went in today for my first oil change. That was really nice to be able to drive right in and have them do the service on my car without an appointment. I love that in my busy schedule. I also learned that I can have my tires rotated for only $5.00 extra when I get the oil done. I love that! They will have my business every 5000 miles. Keep my car running great and I'll be back for a new one in 4 years and Elvis will be the salesman that I will purchase from again. Great experience with North Country Ford. They really want you to be happy with your decision to purchase from them. Great Job. More
