I bought a 2012 Ford Fusion in Feb. 2013. In May, on the first hot day I found out the air conditioning didn't work. I made an appointment for 11:30 on Saturday morning. At 2:30, they called saying the comp first hot day I found out the air conditioning didn't work. I made an appointment for 11:30 on Saturday morning. At 2:30, they called saying the compressor was bad, but couldn't get the part that day and needed to keep till Monday or I had to bring it back. I said they could keep it. When I went to pick it up, they couldn't find the key. They had to wait till the next day to see if the tech brought it home. He didn't, so they cut me a new key and drove the car out to my house. They did give me a free oil change for my troubles and they did pay the deductible for the warranty work. Then about a month later the air didn't work again. I brought it back, but they couldn't find anything wrong. They charged it and it worked fine for a little over a month. I had to bring it back for a third time. I had an 8:45 appointment. They called at 4:00 to tell me they found the problem. A bad hose. They again couldn't get the part that day and needed to keep it another day. When I picked it up, they wanted me to pay the $100 deductible for the warranty. I told them it was already paid on the first visit. They did cover it , but told me normally after 30 days I would have to pay it again.(Even though it wasn't fixed the first two times) It almost seems like they are ripping off the warranty company. I will not be going back to this dealership for service.(unless the air quits working again) More
I was very impressed with the fact that they not only did the oil change but they rotated my tires, checked my fluids and my brakes. Took my vehicle in to get a wheel bearing replaced. The staff immediately got to work on my vehicle and was done faster then I had thought it would be. I had to return because the oil filter put on on monday was leaking. I didn't get a apology or even a discount for next vist just this was a no charge. I sure hope no charge!!!! I had a technical glitch with the Nav system and the date setting. It would not allow me to set a year under 2035. Dennis said it could take an hour or 5, and was difficult to know until they looked into it, setting. It would not allow me to set a year under 2035. Low and behold, 45 minutes later Dennis came to tell me it was done, fixed. It was something like rebooting your computer. I know how that is with my home PC. Great service and the waiting area is very comfortable, not in some small little stuffy room, watching bad TV. Dennis is by far the nicest Service guy I have ever worked with, hats off to good people!! More
North Country employees have always been friendly and the quality of work has always been first rate. Gave a time estimate of 2 hours and I was out the door in an hour and a half, with a car wash. After a number of bad experiences with service centers, it was fantastic to find a location that meets all expectations. The staff is extremely friendly. There is a comfortable waiting space with refreshme it was fantastic to find a location that meets all expectations. The staff is extremely friendly. There is a comfortable waiting space with refreshments. I worked with Denny who was very kind and willing to answer questions. This location seems to put more of an emphasis on earning loyal customers than trying to squeeze every dollar they can possible get out of you, which in my opinion is the best way to run a business. That is the kind of place I want to support. There was absolutely no upselling, and Denny was very conscious of finding ways to save me money. After my first visit, I discovered there was an issue with some of the programming they did, so Denny got me in immediately to remedy the situation without any complaints (obviously free of charge). They have successfully earned another customer who will keep coming back (regardless of the fact I live downtown mpls and it is a 30 minute drive). Also, another nice perk is they wash your car after every visit and have rental cars/shuttle available. More
