We had a good overall experience buying our new Ford Flex. Our sales person, Elvis Syverson, was very knowledgeable and helpful in the entire process and we would buy a car from him again. Flex. North Country was the first dealership I went to when I decided I wanted to buy a newer car. The prices and selection seemed great but I wanted to do some shopping around. Went to Bloomington Lincoln, HORR decided I wanted to buy a newer car. The prices and selection seemed great but I wanted to do some shopping around. Went to Bloomington Lincoln, HORRIBLE! Extremely horrible customer service and every single car was scratched or banged up. Went to New Brighton Ford, priced much higher and not even half of the selection. The customer service that I received at North Country was unmatched, that alone made me feel confident in giving them my business. Once I decided which car I wanted, the buying process went quick and smooth. I will definately recommend North Country to anyone looking to buy a new or used car. More
They do everything in their power to keep you satisfied as a customer. I had a dead battery and after checking for draws (they found none) they found that the battery was in fact bad. Replaced it at no cos as a customer. I had a dead battery and after checking for draws (they found none) they found that the battery was in fact bad. Replaced it at no cost, gave me a rental for no cost (except for 1 gallon of gas) I wouldn't have had to do it but I made the agreement and I only put 8 miles on the vechile. My vechicle was a 2011 explorer with a 36 month warranty. I bought it new there. I wouldn't buy anywhere else. Nemi in sales and Michel in service are the greatest and Mike, the store manager is really a great guy. He finds time to talk with me whenever I am in the store. Check them out, I have been buying from them since 1972. More
Very dishonest dealership. I would never use them again. Sold me "the best tires they sell" 6 months later at trade in I was told they were no good and they would need to discount the price of my truck as Sold me "the best tires they sell" 6 months later at trade in I was told they were no good and they would need to discount the price of my truck as a result on the trade in. Had a Video component installed in my van, they were dishonest about what it would do and who actually installed it. Never buy anything form this dealer. More
I first made contact with Zach via the internet to locate an E350 cargo van. Zach immediately responded with the availability of a 2011 demo model which fit our needs perfectly. Being short on time Zach, and an E350 cargo van. Zach immediately responded with the availability of a 2011 demo model which fit our needs perfectly. Being short on time Zach, and Tim in fleet sales, quickly set me up with a good price, additional accessories, and trade in allowance for our existing truck. Alex processed the paperwork quickly and got me back on the road in very short time. Overall my experience was very pleasant and I look forward to purchasing my next vehicle, which will be personal, at this dealership. More
My experience was extremely disappointing, both from the quality of the vehicle i purchased, to the poor level of customer service i received. I purchased a GMC, Envoy Denali in April. The 1st day i had m quality of the vehicle i purchased, to the poor level of customer service i received. I purchased a GMC, Envoy Denali in April. The 1st day i had my truck home, the battery died. I had it in the shop to replace the battery, then the breaks/roaders went out, the air conditioning, belts, starter, etc... the long and short , I had purchased my truck in April but only had it in my position for about 10 days total, because it was in the shop being fixed. The service dept couldn?t fix my truck, so it had to be sent back to the GMC manufacture several times. GMC could not fix it either. I had to use a loner car, for transportation while my truck was (attempting) to be fixed. After 5 months of constant issues with my truck, I told them I didn?t want it back. Charlie, the service person did all he could to assist with all the issues. He was always very pleasant and helpful. His calm demeanor was always much appreciated. However, in order to have the dealership take the LEMON truck back, I had to deal directly with the Manager, Richard Lien. He was very rude, and unprofessional and put more stress into the situation. He had assured me the owner of this dealership "had deep pockets" and "didn?t get rich by screwing his customers" and assured me I would be happy with my fixed truck, or they would assist in getting me into a different truck all together. He was NO help in doingthis. I was using a loner car from this dealership and was trying very hard to work with them to purchase a different truck...but my phone calls were not even being returned. I was (am) going through a very sticky divorce involving the custody of small children, so the importance of keeping my financial, transportation, and car situation, private was (is) essential. I had given Rich (manager), Dave (sales person) and Charlie (service manager) all of my correct contact info (phone #?s, email addresses, addresses, etc). However, Rich did not bother to look up my accurate contact information and was every so carelessly emailed my ex husband with all of my personal/confidential information. In the midst of the emails Rich was sending to my ex about my sistuation, he even made a few threatening statements such as, "if you are pulled over driving the loaner car from our dealership, it will show up you are driving a stolen vehicle and you could be arrested." There are "privacy laws" that Rich was clearly in violation of by sending my Ex husband all of the emails. Finally, after my ex husband received about 5 emails from Rich, my ex emailed Rich and told him he was sending emails to the wrong person and gave him my correct email address. Once Rich recognized his mistake, he did not apologize to me or my ex, but sent me a very nasty email, demanding the loner car be returned. Now, my ex husband turned all of the emails he received from Rich, to his attorney to use against me in our divorce... VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ON RICH?s part!!!!!!! I wanted to walk away and NEVER return to this location again. However, I had to return the loaner car. While doing so, I started a conversation with Mark Demars, Sale person. He was unaware of all that had transpired with his boss (Rich) the Envoy (faulty truck i had originally purchased back in April).... Mark said he was so very sorry and stated he would do all he could to help me out and resolve the situation. Mark ended up finding me a different truck and did everything he could to make the situation "right"... he got me in touch with PattiLee for financing. Had it not been for Mark and Patty, I would NEVER have bought another vehicle from this dealership, but because of those two, I did end up buying one to replace the Envoy. I would say both Mark and Patty are real assets to the dealership. However, Rich was a HUGE disappointment and not only was he miserable to deal with, he has caused additional problems for me in my personal life, as a result of violating the privacy laws. More
I started my search for my used Ford Escape on the internet. I felt as though all my questions were addressed quickly and accurately. Good experience! internet. I felt as though all my questions were addressed quickly and accurately. Good experience! More
Sales is very knowledgeable with the product. Dana helped sort through colors, models etc. and facilitate the sales process. Roger in Finance was terrific at sorting through the finance options and t helped sort through colors, models etc. and facilitate the sales process. Roger in Finance was terrific at sorting through the finance options and the what ifs. He actually brought a better finance deal to the table then I had hoped for. We needed a few MN necessities added on and the costs were comparable to other after market shops and we're easily rolled into the deal. Best experience ever buying a car. I'd recommend shopping here to everyone - give them a test a drive ! More
Everything was great it's just that I had a full tank on my old car I turned in and less then a quarter of a tank on the newer car I bought. I know that's no big deal but it bothered me. my old car I turned in and less then a quarter of a tank on the newer car I bought. I know that's no big deal but it bothered me. More
