After a number of bad experiences with service centers, it was fantastic to find a location that meets all expectations. The staff is extremely friendly. There is a comfortable waiting space with refreshme it was fantastic to find a location that meets all expectations. The staff is extremely friendly. There is a comfortable waiting space with refreshments. I worked with Denny who was very kind and willing to answer questions. This location seems to put more of an emphasis on earning loyal customers than trying to squeeze every dollar they can possible get out of you, which in my opinion is the best way to run a business. That is the kind of place I want to support. There was absolutely no upselling, and Denny was very conscious of finding ways to save me money. After my first visit, I discovered there was an issue with some of the programming they did, so Denny got me in immediately to remedy the situation without any complaints (obviously free of charge). They have successfully earned another customer who will keep coming back (regardless of the fact I live downtown mpls and it is a 30 minute drive). Also, another nice perk is they wash your car after every visit and have rental cars/shuttle available. More

This last time I scheduled an appointment and showed up on time, and was told my oil change would take around an hour. It took an hour and 45 minutes. Also, when the employee reviewed my car inspection with me, she informed me that my rear brakes were in the "red" on their green-yellow-red scale, and would need to be replaced soon. This is fine, except on my prior visit no one had told me my rear brakes were in the yellow, which I assume they must have been to be in the red now. Also, on the inspection sheet they gave me, everything had been marked in the green. To her credit, the employee did express concern that no one had said anything to me about this on my prior visit and apologized. Also, I thought the quote I received on what it would take to replace my rear brakes was pretty high, based on other quotes I've received. I don't think I'll be going to North Country Ford to get my brakes done, and I'll look elsewhere for oil changes due to how long it took for this most recent one - especially considering I made an appointment. More

First, Mark DeMars in sales and Brent Johnson in service are great. In general the Lincoln and Mercury products we purchased new here are good vehicles. HOWEVER, this week our CVT (continuously variable t are great. In general the Lincoln and Mercury products we purchased new here are good vehicles. HOWEVER, this week our CVT (continuously variable transmission) in our Mercury failed at 107,000 miles. Things happen, but a $6,000 transmission replacement is ridiculous. This is FoMoCo's fault, not the dealership. My reason for rating them as I did is I asked to meet with management to put together a package resolution and upgrade to a newer model. After two days of no returned call I moved my car to another repair facility to do the exact repair, with the same replacement transmission, for 8% less. I will go back to Luther Ford, and would recommend Mark DeMars, but I would caution others to moderate their expectations on management's responsiveness and the cost of service. More

We were happy with the dealership, especially, Rick Leyse. The only negative comment we have is the box of cookies!! They are barely edible! I brought my Mercury Milan in to have a whine in one of the wheels checked. Dave actually figured out the problem in about 10 seconds. Cuffed tire.
