For several months I have been putting off even looking for a new car due to lousy past experiences with other dealerships. The prospect of having to subject myself to several hours at a car dealership made a colonoscopy seem positively festive. Recently, I stopped at a local dealer that advertises themselves as “friendly” but nobody even greeted me. There were 4 young salesman standing together talking to each other and another leaning on a new car with his head down texting. Apparently, they have enough money and did not need my sale. This behavior only reinforced the already lousy feelings I had about car dealers in general. Upon looking on the internet for some honest reviews, it seemed that everyone had something good to say about North Country Ford Lincoln so I decided to give them a try. I just wanted to buy something with great safety ratings and something my mobility challenged mother could get in and out of easily. We visited NCFL on Saturday, September 21st and they seemed very busy so my expectations were pretty low that anyone would want to wait on a couple of old ladies. We were wandering around the showroom for just a few minutes and had tried the Edge and Escape (both too tall for mom) and were on our way to the Shelby GT500 when we were greeted by Elvis. Seeing that mom had a cane in her hand, he steered us away from the Mustang and over to a very nice 2014 Taurus. He went out back someplace to retrieve a Taurus to take on a test drive, and brought us a beautiful deep blue 2014 SEL, which was the car I ended up purchasing. I have only had the car for less than 2 weeks but so far I really love it. Howard “Elvis” Syverson, our salesperson, was awesome. He was zero-pressure and very accommodating to our needs. The finance person, Pam Broman, was terrific as well. This is honestly the first time in my life I ever had fun buying a new car. So far, I am delighted. I received a great price on a fantastic car from a truly gracious team at North Country Ford Lincoln. More
I scheduled an oil change for our Kia Rio. The appointment-setting process was quick and easy. I arrived for the appointment and was greeted by an employee immediately after exiting my vehicle. appointment-setting process was quick and easy. There was a big screen TV, popcorn, and complimentary coffee available. There were also vending machines in the same area. The wait was a little over an hour, which was what the quoted wait time was. The mulit-point inspection sheet was given to me. The service was free of charge since I had purchased the vehicle at that location. I was pleased with the entire experience and would definitely return to the facility in the future. More
From the time I walked into the Service Area everyone was very friendly and helpful, answering my questions and concerns about my car. I was given a loaner car so my car could be worked on and David kept my very friendly and helpful, answering my questions and concerns about my car. When leaving David made sure that all my questions were answered and that I can contact him if I have any other concerns regarding the car. More
I first met with Brad who did an awesome job being patient as I narrowed down my search to the Ford Explorer. Steve found me the exact vehicle I wanted and he did a great job explaining all the features of the truck in detail. P.S. I LOVE my truck!!!! So glad I chose the Explorer! More
Tom and Ken did a great job of keeping me informed as to the progress of the service work I had my car in for. Tim Angell made the buying experience as good as it could possibly be. Friendly, courteous, attentive, and professional throughout. He is a remarkable asset to the dealership! He IS the main reason I went back to North Country for my car buying this time. I don't want to ignore Roger Nelson. He fit in perfectly at the end with his patience, expertise, and friendliness. He makes the more tedious part of car buying, the payment, a good experience. Roger is the best at his profession that I have ever encountered. I brought a friend along who purchased my 2007 Lincoln and he commented on how great his experience was. Specifically, he said that Tim and Roger were the best team he has ever encountered in his car buying experiences. And he had never been to North Country. More
