I was in the dealership yesterday doing comparative shopping because I had not yet decided on a car brand for my next car. As it usually happens, if I see something I really like, I will make a decisio shopping because I had not yet decided on a car brand for my next car. As it usually happens, if I see something I really like, I will make a decision right there to get it. It turned out that I fell in love with the new Honda Accord Hybrid and decided I wanted to purchase it right there. The service was good up until that point. I looked over the information & price tags and saw that there was a "market adjustment" fee that the dealer put on the car. The MSRP of the car was $35,000. I told the sales associate that I had cash in hand and was ready to make everything happen. The associate told me that this was a "rare" car and that the owner wanted to keep it on the lot for at least 30 more days. In addition, he said there would be a "market adjustment" fee applied to the car. In other words, they were going to charge me $3,000 above the MSRP simply because they thought this car was "rare." My family has purchased 2 brand new cars from them in the past 2 years and this is how they treat us. I will NEVER buy anything from them again if this is how they treat their repeat customers. It's one thing to make someone pay full MSRP. It's another to deliberately try to rip off repeat customers by adding on "market adjustment" fees of $3,000 above the MSRP for nothing. It should be known that this "market adjustment" fee was NOT fees for add-ons...it was simply a price gouge that the salesman acknowledged was something other dealers were starting to do. It is scary to think of how these people treat customers who have not bought 2 cars from them. Repeat customers are obviously treated poorly. More

Sales staff are fine trying to make a living - however all sales go through the sales mgr, and he is a very rude person with of time. STAY AWAY!!! If every car salesperson was like Kevin O'Connor at Carr's, consumers would enjoy car buying a whole lot more. Kevin was extremely helpful, kind, and patient, even staying at the dealership with us we Carr's, consumers would enjoy car buying a whole lot more. Kevin was extremely helpful, kind, and patient, even staying at the dealership with us well after they had closed, and offering to operate on our watch -- i.e., no pressure at all. It's funny, but *not* having pressure enticed us to come back to him when we were ready to purchase. I also appreciated that he wasn't involved in the haggling -- that was left to the biz manager, who gave us a very fair price and didn't push unnecessary crap (he did offer the standard warranties, but didn't flinch when we declined). Long story short, I'll come back to Kevin in a heartbeat the next time I buy a Honda! More
Experience was positive from the get-go. After research I knew I wanted a base Fit. I emailed 3 dealers, asking specific out the door numbers -- 1 no answer, 1 answered twice but just said "come in to talk" knew I wanted a base Fit. I emailed 3 dealers, asking specific out the door numbers -- 1 no answer, 1 answered twice but just said "come in to talk" and gave no info, and Tara Jolley at Carr's responded in 40 minutes with exact (good) price, including details of taxes, fees, etc. When I came in a Carr family member greeted me and handed me over to Rey, who answered every question and NEVER pressured me for upgrades or a different model. The trade-in process was quick and honest, and the paperwork was handled by Sarge clearly and quickly. All-in-all it was a fine sales experience, and I hope the service side keeps up the good work. Started with great email communication with Danny Carr that moved on to a friendly/informative presentation of the car with Grant and smooth paperwork process with Zach, and Alex helping everyone! Having contacted 10 Honda Dealerships to replace our car that was stolen, they came out on top with not only price, but the Vibe at the store!(Before stopping by, we spent about 10min wasting our time at another dealership 15min away, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!) I contacted Honda stores as far as Central Wisconsin and Southern Michigan. It was such a huge pleasure to buy a car from the Honda Dealer that was literally minutes from the neighborhood I grew up in, and a short drive from where I currently live, and next door to my State Farm agent! Thank you so much for making it easy and an exciting experience! Buying a new car should be FUN!!!!!! More
I have been a loyal customer of CARR'S HONDA for over 6 years. About a week ago I went in and talked to a sales guy who was great! Sean was helpful, funny and did all he could to see that I got the best deal that they could give me. When he brought his manager over I just didn't feel that our personalities were meshing and that maybe we were having some communication issues. Needless to say I left without buying a new car that day. Before this adventure to CARR'S I had filled out a form online for one of their used vehicles and asked for their online pricing. A few days after my adventure to the showroom I received and email from Danny Carr telling me that he was sorry that it had taken him that long to get back to me on the vehicles price and even offered it to me at a lower price than originally quoted. I sent him an email describing my previous adventure and that I wasn't Super happy at the moment and he called me early the next day to chat with me. He made me feel much better about the situation. He asked that I come back and deal with him directly and that he would make sure that I was given his undivided attention. When I got to Carr's I asked for Danny and he promptly came out of his office and met me with a handshake and a smile. He was extremely nice and accommodating offering me a beverage and even food. We chatted for a minute and then he wanted me to meet Zak, their finance guy. I really liked Zak too. He didn't make me feel like a customer but a friend. We talked more about our families and "stuff" more than we did about cars, I think. I was there well after they closed and Zak and Danny were right there with me till the last I was dotted and the last T was crossed. Danny even helped me get the things out of my old car and into my new one. It is nice to go to a dealer that you know that you're going to be respected and not taken advantage of. I will return to CARR'S for all my service needs as I have never been treated with the utmost respect and always have had great service! Thanks Guys! I love my CRV! More
We bought a used Chrysler Town and Country mini-van yesterday from Carrs Honda, dealing on it over the phone from 6 hours away. After a few breakdowns in communication, we dealt with the general manag yesterday from Carrs Honda, dealing on it over the phone from 6 hours away. After a few breakdowns in communication, we dealt with the general manager, Warren. He could not have been more accommodating, forthright and upfront about all the details of the car. He also offered to hold it for a few days until we could make the drive. The mini-van was 10 years old, affordably priced, and well detailed. There was not one surprise when my husband "met" the van in person. After getting burned by trying to buy a van through private owner, we were guarded about our next transaction, but Warren gained our trust quickly and treated us like we were buying the most expensive car in his fleet. The salesman, Alex, who we initially dealt with over the phone (which is always hard) was excellent to work with in person. Overall, the van is pristine, the price was fair, the dealership was rock-solid. They even helped us return our one-way rental car, which we consider to be above and beyond. We would definitely buy another vehicle from Carrs Honda! More
